Adobe Target

Hi Folks - I am facing an issue with Target --> DTM --> Web Page (AEM Web page in this case - but we are not using AEM based Targeting). Here is what I have done.Scenario 1: Custom Mbox - Works1.       Loaded Target through DTM.2.       Created a Custom MBOX through DTM.3.       Created the Activity in Targetusing “Form” option4.       Selected the custom mbox and added the HTML content.5.       Activated the activity6.       It loads fine on the page, no problems.Scenario 2: Global Mbox - Doesn;t work.1.       Loaded the Target through DTM.2.       Created an audience and selected default global mbox and set the criteria.3.       Created Activity using Visual Experience Composer and added the audience created in step #24.       Activated the activity5.       It doesn’t load on the page.Any Idea what I am missing ?My web page is in AEM 6.2. I am loading DTM using cloud config. and the Target is added into DTM. Target mbox version is 62.Any help is greatly appreciated guys. Thanks

Hi We are moving from H27.5 to Appmeasurement.js and I am getting the below error in the console when the page loads, this was not there before the upgrade, I have altered the 'TNT Integration Plugin v2.0H' so that we use 's.Util.getQueryParam' but still the error is showing and there is no analytics call going off. Cannot read property 's_tnt' of undefinedIn the doPlugins sections we just call s.track() s.tnt = s.trackTNT();Any ideas on how to fix this, is there a later version of the plugin that will work with appmeasurement as we are not ready to move to A4T yet? 

Hi Can someone explain with an example how I can use a custom attribute as key in the recommendation criteria. The documentation for making a custom attribute a key in a crieria says that"Recommendation is determined by an item that is stored in a visitor's profile, using either user.<x> or profile.<x>attributes.When this option is selected, the entity.id value must be present in the profile attribute" It would be great to have an sample example.When I try to save a criteria with a custom attribute key using logic of item with similar attribute, I get the error has invalid fields. Hello! I'm trying to A/B Test a button that's in our global header navigation. I wanted to capture click conversions on this particular element but am finding that I can only specify the clicked element on a single page. Is there a way to track the element's click regardless of where the user is on the site?Thanks

Hello,I hope someone can help me understand how I can build a trigger in Target to only call the test if a certain button is clicked.We have a webpage with two buttons (1) and (2), upon clicking either button the page will show content (different for each).We have a direct call happening for Analytics which pushes a datalayer value as a eVar upon click of each of the buttons.In relation to target and the reason for this post, I have a simple A/B test, however I'd like this only to work if button (2) is clicked. Not on page load. Reason for this is that it will remove noise and the people who click on button (1).Can anyone help me understand the best approach to code this test up to answer the aboveThanks

I'm doing a test of different button styles. A new class has not been created in our style sheets because updating CSS for our entire site is a big lift to do without first testing it (which is why I'm setting up an A/B test). When it comes to CSS, it only shows me the option of updating the class. How would I go about changing the rest, hover, and clicked state CSS of this button?

Hi all, I want to know what the different options are around integrating AEM and Target and there respective positives and negatives.From what I can see, there are the following options1.  Using DTM and adding a toolor 2. Here's the scenario:Test 1 is on the main landing page. I want to create a second test (Test 2) whose test page will be two pages farther into the funnel from Test 1.Test 2's test page cannot be accessed directly. Any traffic that visits Test 2's test page can only get to that page if they have first visited Test 1's test page.I would prefer that the two tests remain mutually exclusive from one another for cleaner data. So, in order to do that I must:1) Reduce the amount of traffic Test 1 is consuming. If Test 1 consumes all the traffic from its test page there won't be any traffic that hits Test 2's test page that hasn't already been subjected to Test 1. So, Test 1's traffic must be reduced in order to let some 'untainted traffic' flow through to Test 2's test page2) Set up an exclusion rule on Test 2 saying that all traffic that was subjected to Test 1 should be excluded from entering Test 2. The remaining traffic that has not been subjected to Test 1 will be entered into Test 2. I b

Hello,I have 3 campaigns that has overlaps on test pages.  For example I have this:Campaign 1: Homepage and Cart PageCampaign 2: Homepage and Product Page.Campaign 3: Cart PageIf I have these separate campaigns, what is the best practice of running these tests at the same time but mutually exclusive from each other?

Hello,I am trying to run a campaign where visitors are shown a banner on the homepage and then they will see a another banner later in the journey.  However, since users can access the journey from a number of sources we are finding that a lot more customers would be entered in the second mbox without seeing the banner on the homepage.  I was wondering if anyone knew of a way you could put a restriction on the second mbox saying only show banner if customers have seen the first.Any advice would be greatly appreciated,Michael

Not able to search any activities in my newly created account. John Mosbaugh's team created new target activity for elements but when I search I am not able to see any results . In fact, no search term displayed any results (with or without any filters). I have an observer access. Is it a permissions issue?

Hi Team, I am facing an issue when creating experiences and inserting images/banner. The image gets loaded when using the Adobe composer however when I publish or preview the experience the images is not displayed.  Any ideas why the image won't load? Could that be a content security issue? I have also tried to load the mbox asynch which didn’t help. Cheers,Jakub

Hello,I was wondering if anybody is getting the following:  when I try to access the test page in an incognito browser (Chrome), I'm getting a "Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token if".  I tried this with IE and FF but only Chrome seems to be the one displaying the error.  When looking into the error, it looks like the source of the issue is typeof(s_tnt)=='undefined'.  The implementation of Target is standard, so no custom work was done.  If anybody have any insights on how to fix this, please let me know.  I'm including screenshots of the error.Thanks,Ridder H. We have been using an audience defined as audience>network>ISP includes plusnet to target our own customers (we are an ISP) and until recently this was working correctly. However within the last few weeks, this seems to have stopped working, as is now not targeting anyone at all.Any ideas what may have gone wrong?

Hi,is there a web service API for the new target? We are currently creating offers by cms pushing it via API to Target Classic. So we are looking to do the same when changing to new TargetAny similar approach for "new" Adobe Target?Thanks and best wishes, Michael

I wish there was a beginners or New user section. We are now in the process of developing some new UI and a new website and would like to do some testing with Adobe TARGET.  Need assistance with implementing Target, we are using DTM to manage. I tried to follow the video instruction but got confused, not sure if I need to put mbox.js code directly onto sight or not if using DTM. Need this done ASAP a P1 status.Can someone tell me the steps I need to take to implement Target to our site. Keep in mind we are using DTM.  Thank you

Hello,We are having issues where our webpages are loading, but our target-global-mbox is hiding the content.In the console, there is an error that says "[Target] executeAjax(): timeout : timeout".When we refresh the page, it seems to go away sometimes, but seems to recur a lot on IE.This issue occurs randomly and we are not able to point out the cause of this.We migrated to at.js recently in our staging environment, but I do not think this is the cause of the issue.I've attached a screencapture.Thanks

My team is trying to decide which is best practice.  We currently have a test where we have a Control that does nothing on the page (Default Content), and a Challenger where if the visitor lands on the control page, they get redirected (via Target Redirect Offer) to another page (let's call this page B).  For setting up the test and for visitor count to be accurate for the test, should we also include the mbox for page B for this test (and keep the offer as Default Content)?One argument (for if we include page B mbox in the campaign) is that if the visitor copies the redirected URL and uses another browser, they will be counted as another visitor.Another argument (for if we do not include page B mbox in the campaign), is that if the visitor copies the redirected URL and uses another browser, they will not be counted in the campaign conversion.Which one is correct? Hi,I have gone through the API documentation to generate the Audit report via API and i was able to do that successfully for one Campaign ID. However i am looking for a solution wherein i can pass multiple campaigns together and generate the Audit report for all of them at once.
