Adobe Target

Hi,We have multiple clients who are running their full site over HTTPS, and we often experience that after setting up a A/B test it won't be visible on the live site.We are using Target Standard and when setting up the experiments, we are telling target to use the URL via HTTPS (https://customersite.xyz and not http://customersite.xyz). We can setup the experiment in the editor and here we do not see any issues. Changes are applied to the page (in the editor) directly. However, when activating the activity nothing happens on the live site. we have tried to wait for hours (even days) and nothing happens. When running experiemtns on other sites using HTTP, we do not experience this issue.Does anyone else experience the same issues, and do anyone have a suggestion on how to solve this?I will suspect this to be an issue with Adobe Target itself and not related to the specific customer (as we see it across clients). We are trying to write an S&P query to retrieve content based on the date when it was created. Our requirement is to fetch the content in a date(system defined field) range. We went through the documentation and came up with a query parameters format as shown below. We just wanted to know is it the correct way or is there a better way to do it. http://adobesnpdomain.com/?sp_q_min_day_2=01&sp_q_max_day_2=04&sp_q_min_month_2=01&sp_q_ma x_month_2=03&sp_q_min_year_2=2014&sp_q_max_year_2=2015 So we have used the backed search fields please let us know if there is another way to do it and how the same could be done in case the date field is a custom field.

Hi - We recently started having the  error - The selected website is taking too long to load or does not contain Target libraries, in the Visual Experience Composer for our websites; we recently moved these websites to Amazon Web Service hosting solution and therefore, our intuition is that shifting to AWS is probably the reason for the error.Is there any changes that we need to make in our implementation to solve the above issue? 

Hello there,I'm using Target Standard and I'm trying to find a solution for my problem but can't find any.I have a website with mirror pages (english/french) and I have to do a A/B test for one page.How do I have to manage the following use-case: a user comes to that page in english and decides to go on the french version of that same page afterward (via the "French" link atop of the page)?  It is important to note that the domain name is not the same for both languages, but behind it's the same server (AEM).The user has to see the same experience he already saw in the previous language? (i.e.: if he saw experience B in english, he has to see experience B in french)Is it possible/best practice to show the same experience even if a user change languageAlso, how is it possible in Target Standard to include a mirror page, create the same experiences, for ONE activity?Thanks for any help on how to create et approach that.Regards

Hi!I have a piece of content, that I'd like to show in the footer of our site (which is an element that is present on all pages). I'd like to show the content to all visitors on all pages, once they have seen one specific page. So the scenario should be like this:Visitor loads page A (no changes made to site)Visitor loads page B - the inclusion criteria (change is made; content is shown)Visitor loads page A - because he has now seen page B, he is included in the experiment - content is shown.Visitor loads any page - because he has now seen page B, he is included in the experiment - content is shown.Does anyone know how to set this up using Target standard?Kind regards,Martin 

Hello, what's the cookie expiration for a visitor that enters into a test cell? I'm currently on Target Classic if that matters.Within the Mbox Settings, the traffic duration is set to 120 days. Is that the expiration date?Thanks in advance!David

Our site is running jquery 1.6.1. Is mbox.js compatible with certain jquery versions? Couldn't find anything in the resource help section.Thanks.

Effectively troubleshoot Mbox's in Adobe recommendations

When creating a Recommendation activity in Recommendations Premium, I AM able to get my recommendations to show up on the site when I use the Admin-created "All Collections" but when I go to use a collection I made, the recommendations no longer show up. In the interface, collections show that products are coming through appropriately via the # of products identified. What is the reasoning behind a collection showing products when created in the interface but not live on the site through activities. I need a solution to this as soon as possible   

I created two activities within the Target Standard interface leveraging the visual composer.  Everything worked great until i went to the dashboard after saving the activities. I've included a screenshot of what it is telling me but basically the issue seems to be my update is not being published to Adobe's delivery network.Any help would be amazing.Cheers,Eric

We're trying to run a test where the confirmation page is the same as the initial landing page. The conversion trigger is simply a page refresh and is not loading properly. The error being thrown is attached.

Hi, we've been running test in Test&Target containing 5 experiences. Once the experience is shown to visitor, we also send evar to analytics, that helps to cross check Test & Target data. From the beginning of the test T&T balanced traffic between experiences equally, but after few days, it started to prefer one /first/ experience. We might made any mistake in setup /maybe we should change the test type from "landing page campaign" to "A/B..N campaign" - see screenshots/. Any help or idea would be appreciated.  Thanks

Hello!I am integratign AEM 6 with Adobe Target and have some problems with it.Particularly, when I add "Adobe Target Mbox" component on the page - T&T request is sends but in console there is an error :Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function.I found that it throws when mboxOfferDefault.prototype.show(content) function is called from /etc/clientlibs/foundation/testandtarget/util/source/init.js.The problem is that this function calls this.hide(content) which doesn't exists in mboxOfferDefault.prototype and that's why I suppose this error is thrown.Can anyone tell me why this function in init.js is overriding default mboxOfferDefault.prototype.show(content) defined in mbox.js andwhat will be the risks if i'll remove this function from /etc/clientlibs/foundation/testandtarget/util/source/init.js?I will be appreciated if some one will help me with this problem.Thanks!

Hello, I have a client that is exploring Adobe Target at the moment, however one question that came up is where (Data centres, physical boxes holding the data) is the data stored ?In this context, "Data" is campaign configuration, HTML offer values, campaign results. Is there any options to choose where the location of the Data is stored ?  The reason why I ask is because we have to comply with legal requirements set upon us that any solutions we use needs to be hosted within Australia. 

Hello,I created a simple test in Target Premium where I'm just changing the copy and targeted based on a query string parameter.  Although I can see the changes in the visual editor, when I activate the campaign, the variation is not shown either when I click the "verify URL" link in the activity or when I trigger the activity.  Any recommendations on what to do will be greatly appreciated.Test URL:  uat2-www.devry.comThanks,Ridder

I am trying to create a new experience using the visual experience composer in Target Standard and am not able to do so due to the VEC not rendering our test site. I have attached what I am seeing as well as what the web site is suppose to look like.I did make sure I enabled mixed content in Firefox. I tried Firefox in Windows and Mac and neither worked. I cannot even get it to run in Chrome so I have not tried it there.Any guidance on how to get this working would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Guys, Is there a way in which i could get information, whether a page has mbox and is there an active campaign on that mbox, programatically. Something in the API that i have missed. It would greatly help, as I am trying to make sure the developers know about active campaigns before they start making changes, not to mess up something horribly, when they make dev change.Something like a flag that i can use, maybe ?  Thanks Raghav 

Hi there,I've set up a few MVT / landing page testing campaigns but haven't set up a Display Ad Campaign in T&T before and I had a few questions..Our client is interested in essentially doing MVT testing within banner ads. We would test ad elements such as: color, image, headline, CTA, copy.Is this possible and is this considered a Flash campaign or a Display Ad Campaign?What is the difference between a Flash campaign and a Display Ad Campaign?Would this type of campaign use mBoxes or Flashboxes?I will likely have more questions pending your response. Hello,I'm trying to create an activity from a carousel, where the variation would be to show the items of the carousel in a different order.  How can this be done with Target Premium?  I would think that in the visual editor, when you try to edit the HTML, you would see the source under the div, but you don't.  I'm really hitting a wall here, so any help will be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Ridder  

Hello,does anybody know how can I exclude Internet explorer traffic from a test? I have tried a few things with no success. My latest attempt was to create an expression target which excludes IE Traffic and then use it in a segment. The expression target is this return (user.browser.indexOf('MSIE') == -1);This means users that do not contain "MSIE". So this should work, however I keep getting considered in my demo test.I would appreciate any hint.Thank you,Ivan

Hi Everyone, i have in the past created successful custom recommendations to manually override products of my choice. I drag the adobe banner component into the search result page, but the bannerArea property has no values in the drop down. Does anyone know where to define the values? I looked at the banner component jsp, The adobe SearchPromoteService has a method called getBannerAreaList(memberid, accountnumber), so the list most probably is defined in Adobe site somewhere. Can someone point out where it is or any documentation I can follow?Thanks.
