Adobe Target

Hi there I have been working under the assumption that 'Is Mobile Device' includes phones and tablets, and that 'Is Mobile Phone' is only phones. Is this correct?  Or are they mutually exclusive? Screenshot for reference  ThanksJoe

Hi everybody,We've been trying to create a personalization where the banner changes if users come from a specific referrer URL. However, we're having issues replacing that image. We already uploaded the new image to Adobe Assets (we don’t have AEM but have some other Experience Cloud products). Even though Target can find it, it seems the image is not made public, so Target can’t use it.We also tried to find the Adobe Assets settings to make the image public but had no luck. When we uploaded the image to a random image-sharing site, it worked. After reading the documentation, we saw the option to upload assets to Target itself with Dynamic Media. We are checking with Adobe now if our configuration was already done before, but when we go to Replace Content > Image, it opens Adobe Assets, and we can choose the image, but it does not work.Any idea of what is wrong and a solution for that? 

Hi,I am implementing experience target activity using the at.js approach through Tealium.I don't have access to Tealium as its managed by different team and I can ensure its loading correctly through Adobe Experience Platform Debugger.After saving the modifications for injecting html and styling for different components using 'Insert after' method on webpage, the changes are reverted to default.Once the activity is live, "Action could not be applied due to missing or invalid mbox name" error is shown in modifications.I haven't implemented any mbox for this activity.Can anyone please help me to resolve this issue?

I tried setting up adobe target, but somehow it isn't working stable in chrome, most of the time i get this message and some times it works. I also installed the browser extension and changed the setting Enable Enhanced Composer in the Page delivery.Somehow Fire Fox don't seems to have these issues.

Hi All,I have  done adobe target integration using below approach1.Download the  latest at.js from the adobe target implementation.2.Create the clientlibs in aem and added that at.js3.calling this clientlibs in my headlibs.html.4.In the network tab verified delivery related call happened  and gives 200.5.Created A/B test on the adobe target  and added different experience for All visitor.whenever i checked the URL   it shows default content not the activity content, I tried to check Activity QA Url as well it display the same default content.did i missed anything .Thanks

Use Case: Create an XT activity for specific CRM IDs In Launch: There's an existing Target Load and Fire rule. In that rule, there's an Add Params to Page Load Request action.Name: mbox3rdpartyidValue: (a variable that contains the CRM ID value, from a data element)I believe this part works, it's how to pull this in Target that I need help with. In Target>Profile Scripts, I made a profile script called id_mbox3rdpartyid with this code: return profile.get('mbox3rdpartyid');Then in Audience Library, I made an audience called IDaudience, set up as this: Visitor Profile: user.id_mbox3rdpartyid equals (case sensitive) 0000000000(The id I used is the real ID and not zeroes.) I created the activity and set the audience to IDaudience. The experience is not being shown. This is set up on a password protected site. I made sure the user has the ID I entered in the audience. I also tried making a second Audience set up as: Custom: mbox3rdpartyid

Ok - I would like to set some frequency capping on some experiences. I know this involves passing some kind of unique identifier of that experience, creating a profile script so it can be counted and then creating an audience depending on my how many times I'd like customers to see the experience. We use JSON offers and I'm struggling with Step 1. How to I pass a unique identifier for the experience? Can I create a unique mbox through JSON and count that?  Thanks for any help.

Hi all,  The Node.js getOffers() method seems to be ignoring my QA parameters. The docs for Node.js getOffers() method indicate that it conforms to the spec for the REST-based Delivery API . My request object contains the request.qaMode value as described in the Delivery API spec. const offers = targetClient.getOffers({ // ... Hi! I have implemented views on SPA using web sdk. When I am on home page, xdm object returns view name as "index" and page name as "home".when I proceed further and click a SPA component, xdm object returns view name as "men" and page name as "men category". I want to run an activity on view name "men" and audience with revised page name as "men category".  

After migration from SDK v1 to v3 the target response delivers no data. 

I am qualified into 2 activities for the same piece of content.  Activity 1 audience is a CDP audience that I know I've qualified into because I can see it in AEP. That is the higher priority activity so I have set that at 900. Activity 2 is basically the catch-all default activity to target those that didn't qualify into the CDP audience. It is targeting All Visitors and the priority is set to 5.  Both of these activities are A/B, but they only have 1 experience each. There are reasons why it is set up this way as opposed to just using XT.  When I test this with my profile, Activity 2 (All Visitors, priority 5) is displayed to me, not Activity 1 (CDP audience, priority 900). Why? To further test Activity 1, I temporarily turned off Activity 2 and I did see the content for Activity 1. When I re-activated Activity 2, I saw the Activity 2 content again.  I thought the priority value was supposed to kick in for a scenario like this. Please

I want to be able to tweak the Recommmended for you Algorithm to downrank certain types of content. I know the feature exists, but when I select "User-Based algorithm" the option disappears. Is there any alternatives that I could use to downrank certain attributes without having to remove them from recommendations all together?

We are looking to run an A/B test in Adobe Target with HTML content within our activities as the test experience.  Within the test the code used is window.setAbTest('blah blah', 'B')For this experience we reached significance, but upon further review it appears that the majority of the traffic that triggered this is coming from mobile traffic and none from desktop.  When I checked with some previous tests we used similar logic but embedded the code within a script tab and the traffic for the test group conversion was evenly divided between mobile and desktop users. Does a test without a script tag not work for desktop traffic or limit it capabilities within Adobe target?

The Recommendations Catalog (Feeds) is considered by me as a central place for storing products in Adobe Target. The documentation says that anyone can go and change the data in this catalog using a simple mbox request to update an entity in the catalog: "... Item descriptions can be passed into Target using feeds or mboxes ...".  Lets suppose, the catalog has the following records: entity.id | category.id | message | ...1 | category1 | message1 | ...2 | ... | ... | ...etc..Lets suppose we have a scenario where:1) User "A" goes to a page with recommendations activity where they see "mes1" in recommendations related to entity.id=12) A bad user "B" updates entity.id=1 by the mbox request with with a message = "bad message"3) User "A" reloads the page and sees message "bad message"Is this scenario possible ? If not, why ?

Hi - I'm just curious if there is a limit to the amount of rules you can add in for page delivery? For instance, can I add as many URLs as I want per the image below? I don't see any notes in the documentation https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/target/using/activities/experience-targeting/create-targeting/xt-activity-url so maybe there isn't' but I thought I'd ask.  Thanks

I'm working on a solution to rendering a VEC personalization decision server-side in Next.js and React. Question is, is this possible? I have an XT activity where I have a lightbox template enabled for users to show pop-ups & the goal is to get the users to click on sessions at the end.   In the lightbox pop-up by clicking on CTA button users land on Page-A where I have some tracks: {track1, track 2, track3} that I want the user to select they are interested in, and then after selecting the desired track user lands on Page-B which has sessions on it { session-1, session-2, session3} and user can select which session they want to watch.   In the goal setting off course, I have selected the goal metric as->conversion->clicked on element i.e. CTA button of Pop-up to understand the click-through rate on the CTA button but I also want to measure how many sessions getting clicked as this is the major goal to get the users click on sessions. How can I incorporate this in current goal settings, any suggestions?  

Hello, This is not only about Target but experience league documentation in general but what a better place to ask than the optimization community! Maybe someone can notice pro-activity and invite me to gigs = ) I happen to read the docs at 200% ('command' + '+', six times) especially to look a graph or visual.I would find useful if there was a one click toggle for 2x view for that and then click it to go back to 100% (maybe other %?) and see the sidebars. Screenshots attached. *Right before posting played with the two arrows that open the view (I used them before but not for the full view) but decided to still post as the 2x option is one click toggle vs the 2 arrows, also perhaps the '2x' or '200%' CTA could be more intuitive than the arrows, which for some reason I did not click to go 2x view-ish mode initially. Thanks, Rafael Sahagun

Launched a standard A/b test yesterday and still no data is coming through. I have checked the environments are correct and everything seems normal - control is pointing to the correct experience.

I would like to understand if using Multivariate Testing (MVT) specifically for a mobile app is possible. If it is feasible, could you please explain how MVT can be implemented for mobile apps using Adobe Target, including any prerequisites, setup steps, and considerations for effectively tracking results?
