Hi, As we aim to reduce exits on the specific page, we ran an A/B test with two different variants for this page. However, how should I measure the exit rates for control and treatment groups? We pull Visits data for these groups and use Exits metric, but it seems this metric is not right the one because the visits and exits are going to be the same? Please help.

Hello, We are switching to WebSDK and notice many of our Target campaigns which use Profile Scripts do not behave as previously did under at.js.  Take for example this script we use for abandoned cart;  if (mbox.param('pageURL').indexOf('/user/checkout.html') > -1 ) { return true; } else if (mbox.param('pageURL').indexOf('thank-you.html') > -1) { return false; }   In the WebSDK, the "true" value is returned only when the visitor is on the checkout.html page; False is returned on any other page which means the profile script value isn't being saved. Is this a known issue or is there some sort of workaround?

Hi Everyone, I have created a CSV file that contains 20 products and uploaded a CSV file in recommendations through feeds. Product data is available in the feeds and catalog search for a development environment. Also, I have created new rules in the launch to capture entity.id. I have created two activities on the product detail pages and used recently viewed & most viewed products criteria. When I am in edit mode I can see the product data which includes the image, message, name, and pageUrl of the product. But when I am checking this activity on the browser I am only getting the name of the product because I am capturing it in the rule which I have created in the launch. I also checked in the mbox Trace and data is available there too. In addition to this, when I am downloading data from an activity, data is available in the production environment and the development environment is empty. We have a test that is ongoing for 3 months+ now. WE have reached the significance value if you see the auto allocate tables.  however, the target activity says "No winner yet"How long do we have to wait? if you see the numbers we already have a winner: we just want to see it turning green. how long does it take for Adobe to declare? we need an actual estimation method. we know about the article: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/target/using/activities/auto-allocate/determine-winner.html?lang=enthe article page doesn't clearly or specifically say how Adobe Target measures that.

Hi everyone, has anyone tried the importing data through SFMC.We were able to sucessfuly migate the data through FTP but the data isn't showing any records. We are facing some fomatting issue but we are not able to reolve this.

Hi Team,We run adobe target on our website to do AB tests and such. Our cms is Silverstripe.So when we set up an AB test, adobe target scrapes off the co ten from the from the html as value (not dynamic) so what happens is when we change some other information on the page,which is not tested, changes, it doesn’t reflect on the experiencePutting us at risk of showing tue customer outdated information.How can we fix this. Or rather make target to take value from one of the backend fields of Silverstripe ?

On the evening of Thursday, August 3, we deployed an updated Launch library that migrated our website from using the legacy Visitor ID, at.js and AppMeasurement libraries to the new Web SDK. The Analytics data in general looks good.  However, we are seeing a significant reduction in the reporting of the Activities and Experiences assigned in Target.  We see this both in Target reporting and in A4T.  It isn’t that no users are being reported as assigned to a test, just that the total number is a fraction of what we had seen in the days leading up to the update. This problem is keeping us from being able to report on site usage and we need to get to a solution quickly.

Our A/B testing process is built around using the form based activity set-up and leveraging html or JSON offers.   This is what the analysts and our developer partners are familiar with.  Would love to do some MVT testing, but not eager to try to figure the feasibility of a whole new approach.   Anyone out there executing MVT tests using the form based UI?  I know that we can execute full factorial test design via the form but I also want MVT type analysis output. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Activities page user interface refresh (October 25, 2023) As part of the Adobe Target team’s ongoing effort to improve the user-experience for Target users, this release refreshes the Activities page in the Target UI. This update unifies and standardizes design patterns that were previously inconsistent, while adding new enhancements. Hi,I am using mbox3rdPartyId whose value is equal to the user login id (1st party id) when a user is logged in and equal to null for a unauthenticated user. I cannot change this setting for now so trying to figure a workaround for this. We have an XT activity live on websiteabc - which is appearing for a specific visitor in incognito, but not in their regular (non-incognito) browsing state.On a hunch, I suspected that It wasn't showing it because it was affected by something that had been stored/cached... and so I did two things to try and resolve it:Delete all cookie data for the websiteabc domainDelete all cookie data on websiteabc.demdex.netAfter I had done this and refreshed the page in question, the activity appeared. This leads me to think that this is something that might affect a much larger cohort of all website visitors - which is not ideal. I don't believe that our caching system (cloudflare) would affect this. Has anyone experienced this before and do you have any suggestions for mitigating it?

Hi, I am new to building up recommendation activities in Target. I have gone through all the documentation given in Experience League and followed it well. However, one problem I am facing is with the feeds which is an important step to run recommendations. I think the best possible way for us is CSV format to feed product data to Target. However, I am unable to understand the fields in the CSV file format that I downloaded from Target. We are migrating a client to the Web SDK.  Their front end used to make a bunch of target.getOffer() calls using named mboxes to get back JSON data telling it which experience to render.  To migrate to alloy, we duplicated this with (roughly) this code: alloy("sendEvent", {  renderDecisions: false,  decisionScopes: [    "mbox_name_goes_here"  ].flat(),  data: _satellite.getVar("Target Profile Params") || {}}) It works like a champ from a test delivery standpoint.  However, when I look at the edge trace, I see that in addition to the scope that we include in the array, __view__ is added as well.  The target_trace items show the global mbox being called.  There are several of these calls made on one page (working to get that changed, but that is another tale), so it seems a lot of extra work.. When testing a page wih the Activity QA link in Target, we're seeing the experience fire twice.  We are using AEP and there is only a single window-load based rule that allows a decision to occur, so in theory there's only one page load so the experience should only really trigger once.  Does anyone know what may be happening for it to fire twice?  I've just got a console.log output being sent at the moment Cheers

A data push is being made for a loading event, as soon as it is done the banner is displayed.When viewed in the app, the banner does not appear at first, only after performing another action in the app and returning to home.I checked and the event is being triggered correctly, but the banner only appears after some action in the app.Can you help me with this? please

Hello Community, I'm having trouble getting started with Recommendations to show on our site. I have a content feed and when using the debugger I keep seeing a NO_CONTENT code in the response. Does anyone know what are some next steps to display the items from my CSV feed?

In the current People core services setup for a client, we already have an existing customer attributes schema which is uploading 65 customer attributes along with the data within that. Subscriptions are also added for Target and Analytics, where we are sending all of these 65 customer attributes to Target as well.As part of a use case, we need to add 5 new customer attributes to the schema. Here are few questions we have:Is it possible to edit the existing schema to add 5 new customer attributes, so that the existing schema has a total of 70 customer attributes?  As per the documentation in experienceleague, it is possible to edit the existing schema, but I do not see any option to do it in the UIWhat is the best approach to address this scenario?Is there any way to download an existing customer attribute schema (which has 65 attributes)?Is there any way to export/download the list of customer attributes being used in Adobe Target ? Hi Currently I have the setCustomerId used to pass Customer ID (user login id) to Adobe Target, because of which Target experiences are different for a first time user & a logged in user. Similar to the example given here - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/target/using/audiences/visitor-profiles/3rd-party-id.html?lang=en I'm looking to update this implementation so that mbox3rdPartyId is equivalent to the ECID or some other method where ECID is prioritised over the Declared ID(i.e. login id), which would lead to more consistent experiences for users within the same session. What are the different methods of doing that?I know it's not recommended to change a mbox3rdPartyId setup so what would be some implications of this? Looking to understand so I have a full picture before making the change Thanks

We're running an A/B test, as the analyst monitoring the test, I'm seeing some users (one or two) appear to have been included in the Control Group but participated in an event activity that should only be visible in the Challenger group.  In this case, they clicked on a custom main nav link that was added only to the Challenger group. The test should be set up to exclude users in one test group from seeing the other.  What might be causing this to happen?  I did not set up the test but am an analyst.  Again, it's only 1 or 2, but if the users were in the Challenger group, why are they falling under the Control counts? To add context there is personalization XT being applied to a subset of pages that could fall into the A/B test. But the challenger and control will see it equally. Could this be interfering with the A/B test? Thanks, Michelle 

I want to understand how Adobe Target reads the digital data layer. From one of my experiences, I was trying to pass page title from a data layer While I used reading via javascript variable it did not work for me: However, reading it as a core attribute worked Why this is the case? Also, I have pages with multi-product categories and they get passed into my data layer in the form of an array, and through JS code I am already successfully reading it via data element into eVars for my analysis. However, when I am trying to map this multi-product categories data element to user.categoryId to pass it as a Target mbox parameter for every page load nothing comes up in my favorite categories. Any suggestions as to why? This is why I am wondering how to read values out of the digital data layer into data elements for Target?
