Adobe Target

Is there a way to limit the number of products on a recommendations carousel that are from the same brand? For instance, if I only want 2 or 3 products max from an specific brand on my carousels, is there a way to make possible without manually excluding products? Thank you

I am trying to integrate AEM with Adobe Target using IMS and I have done all the configurations mentioned in the below link. https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/sites/integrations/integration-adobe-target-ims.html?lang=en#configuring-an-ims-configuration-generating-a-public-key    After completing the IMS configuration in AEM when I try to check health I am getting below error: Any idea what I am missing here.  

We implemented Target API in our server-side application (it handles the cross-sell module e.g. in checkout). We were not able to find a straightforward way to generate new visitor ids so we are relying on an ECID that is generated in storefront by Visitor ID Service implemented through Launch. As a result, we are able to test on visitors who had at least one page view before entering a test. I have 2 questions:1) Do you see any flaws in the implementation described below that could have unwanted consequences (e.g. double visitor counting)?2) How can we generate a valid tntId, sessionID and ECID fully server-side? 1. Hello!  We integrated AEM with Target but are not exporting the AEM experience as a fragment to Target, instead, are using AEM as the source in Target and it seems A4T is not working.  Does anyone have any pointer on what might have caused this?  Thank you!    -b

Hello everyone. I'm working on a project where I have to dynamically change the text of a set of buttons across a site for an A/B test. The problem I am facing is the content is dynamically generated with a script in the body of the HTML, so whenever I try to update with custom code, it runs in the head and does not update the content. Does anyone have any suggestions or has performed a similar function in a test in Target?

Hi Team,   We are implementing Adobe Target on Mobile App using the below documentation. https://developer.adobe.com/client-sdks/documentation/adobe-journey-optimizer-decisioning/   We have multiple activities on total 4 decision scopes. Issue – Optimize.onPropositionUpdate() keep incrementing the callback as many times as we fire updatePropositions for a specific decision scope. The relationship should be 1:1 whereas it keep changing to 1:2 , 1:3 , 1:4 and so on. So, on the first updateProposition() method call, we get the single response with the content of the activity.   On second updateProposition() method call, we get the same content twice in the response and so on.   Please let me know if there are any resolutions to just get the most recent responses instead of duplicated responses every time updateProposition gets called.

The QA URL for the SPA target activity, which was a modification applied for the first time only, is working correctly as expected. If we reload the QA URL page, the changes are not applied.   We are new to SPA implementation. kindly help us to sort out this.

I've recently been working on a new implementation of Analytics/Target via the AEP Web SDK, and am in the process of configuring some new activities.  In the past, I've used profile scripts as an easy way to handle complex audience parameters that need some sort of calculation or persistence, but I don't see anything in the documentation that addresses how to reference XDM data in the profile script editor.  Is this even an option with the Web SDK, and if so how would I reference the XDM data when building a script?

Hi all,    we are trying to configure an A/B test changing the pictures order of a carousel component handled by boostrap.    Are there best practices to manage the flicker issue apart of the pre-hiding snippet? Because we are trying to implement it on our site but doesn't help with the rendering of the images.  The component we are modifying with the VEC is a bootstrap carousel, so are there any consideration to do when working with a dynamic component as this is?    Thanks 🙂

For Recommendations to work effectively/develop its algorithm is there any guideline or documentation specifically looking at the sales/conversion volumes required for the machine learning to work?   Thanks   Nicolas

What is the best practice to use a QA link from Target on a search query? for example: wwww.domain.com/search/?search=something When I try to use the QA link like normal it will add the QA link to the keyword of the search i.e. something?qa_link_here

Hello everyone, I'm currently working on a project where I'm trying to update the text of a button on a set of modals. The problem I am running into is that with the custom code option in Target, the script runs in the head of the document, and I have not been able to get a click event to work to perform the change when the modal is opened. Has anyone performed a similar test or function in target? I can go through and update each modal with the visual editor, but I'm concerned that this will affect the page loading time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Target Community,   I am experiencing issues altering or modifying an AEM video component using a third party based player (Wistia) for experience creation in Adobe Target. When the VEC is used to perform any experience modification within the video components div container, upon trying to save the activity it returns an Unsupported Characters error message :   "ERROR Only characters within the basic multilingual plane are supported. Characters outside of this plane typically show up as corrupted in the browser. Please remove them from any input field and re-try saving."   Because we want to use this component in different sections of a webpage for a Target test activity, my thought was to leverage the AEM Experience Fragment integration with Adobe Target we have enabled to export and place this video component without the need for editing the div video section's unsupported code. Hi everyone, I am still new to Target and now following the Adobe training materials to get myself up to speed. I was trying to replicate this step in my Target sandbox where the "Offer Decision" option should be showing (image below). But this is not the case. I can see all other options such as "Image" or "Experience Fragment" or "Recommendation". Does anyone have any idea how to enable this "Offer Decision" option. Is there any configuration I have to do beforehand?   Many thanks!

hi there, when setting up a recommendation with for example algorithm "viewed this, viewed that", and selecting Adobe Analytics report suite as data source, the entity.id passed in mbox parameters need to match product id passed by Adobe Launch to AA in the prodView event?  I cant seem to find a good answer on how the stitching works when using AA as source and not mbox data

I am able to create an AEM Experience Fragment and Export to Target successfully. I can see the XF as an Offer in Target and also able to replace activity content with the EF. Works fine in the VEC but when save the activity I get the following error  Sync Error - Your updates did not get published to Adobe's delivery network. If the problem persists, please contact Adobe Client Care. I've removed the Experience fragment and the Activity works fine, but the same error appears when replacing content with an AEM EF. It would be great to understand why Target will not publish. I cannot find any Fixes in the documentation or across the community.

I am trying to set up an activity that does the following: Upon entry to the site with a URL that contains this parameter  PST_V2, hide two pieces of content (was using display:none to do this) and persist hiding for rest of session That URL parameter is only present on initial entry page, it falls off should a user navigate to another page.   I tried setting up a profile scriptlike so:try{var mboxParam = page.query('PST_V2') || "";if (mboxParam != "") {return mboxParam; }}catch(e){// Error handling... } and then set up an audience like this:   I am not having any luck. What am i doing wrong? Thanks!
