Adobe Target

Hi All,    First post, hoping someone might be able to clear up my confusion.  Thanks in advance!   Summary: I have a client who implemented code outside of Launch to append cross-domain links with MCID/SDID.  However, I found an issue with their code which causes "SDID" to not match between the /delivery POST reqeusts for target, and the b/ss GET calls for analytics.   I see in documentation it says they 'must' match, but I'm quite confused because A4T reporting inside Workspace still appears to work. We have this all year long campaign page: xyz.html We want to display a different content for those who’ve already seen this page: xyz.html [Note: this page is public, anyone with internet access can see it – there’s no special credentials required to view the content.]   If we target the audience via ‘Returning Visitor’ – how does target determine the ‘returning visitor’? Is it entirely through browser cookies? If a user clears the cookies, what happens?In case there are any limitations around this, we were thinking maybe we could use ‘Profile Scripts’. Hello, a relative AEM newbie here.   I am trying to pass params with the following `targetPageParams` function to be called by AT.js.  targetPageParamsAll = function() { let referrer = document.referrer console.log("called targetPageParams: referrer"); console.log(referrer); return { "mboxReferrer": referrer, "context.address.referringUrl": referrer }; };   I even have it defined in the two places below, before Target loads Target > Implementation Data Collection > Rules   When I load my site page, I was expecting the `console.log("called targetPageParams: referrer");`  to be called by AT.js, but nothing is logged, which makes me think that the function `targetPageParamsAll` is not being called.    Some other source suggest to define it directly on top of the AT.js file. But I don't know how to find/edit that file.   Also, I don't know if this matters,

Hi all! I have implemented Recommendations of certain tourist places that recommends most popular tourist places for the new user using Most popular criteria in Adobe Target. I have got certain changes on my website, but is there any way I can validate that these places are actually popular across the site? How can we make sure that the entities recommendation is showing me the correct order? If I can use Adobe workspace, how can I do that? Please do let me know incase of any info. Thanks

Firstly, the current feed we use in our organisation is one huge product feed that takes 6 hours to upload, and gets uploaded once a day. We are breaking those up in 24 smaller files containing changed information, to ensure all products are updated during the day. Is this the best way?   Secondly, our app is now also available in another country, which is a first for us, and I need guidance in how to deal with this as a separate feed. What will be the best practice for doing this with multiple csv feeds.  Will the Namibia feed not overwrite all the South African product feeds?   My other question is: How will Target know e.g. using Bought Bought, that two products was bought together for Namibia, or vice versa, for South Africa, but not to show products related to South Africa on Namibia's recommendations and vice versa?   This is new to me working with another country, so any advice will help please.

Hello!  Has anyone implemented AEM and Target integration but is using Target only as a traffic split mechanism?  Meaning fragments are not leveraged, rather experiences are hardcoded in AEM and then Target is used to activate the campaigns (source of activity is AEM i/o Target).   Thank you, 

Question from devs: how to configure Target for AEM and what are the advantages of doing that? If there is a specific documentation link that we can access it?

Is there a seamless way to get email notifications when changes are made in Adobe Target?  We'd like to have more of our team making changes, but it would be nice for us to get automatically notified of these changes.  

In our project we are trying to configure the integration between AEM and Target using Adobe I/O, we have followed all steps described in the notehttps://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-65/administering/integration/integration-i...And it looks fine. Hi, at a bit of a loss for this scenario, any help would be appreciated:   In DTM we want to load the anti-flicker script provided (the one that hides the body; https://developer.adobe.com/target/implement/client-side/atjs/how-atjs-works/manage-flicker-with-atjs/), but we obviously need a conditional to fire the custom tag (for this we choose "activity.id" returned from AT's event(s); https://developer.adobe.com/target/implement/client-side/atjs/atjs-functions/atjs-custom-events//)   The problem is no matter what event we target, (e.g. adobe.target.event.CONTENT_RENDERING_SUCCEEDED or adobe.target.event.REQUEST_START) we  can't properly time it in a way that both the activity.id is present on page and the DTM conditional is fired.   Typically anti-flicker is hardcoded on the page directly, but since we control several sites this isn't feasible. So the question is really can "activity.id" be used to fire a DTM tag? And if so, how?   Thanks!

I have an AEM website I'm doing front-end work on and need to run a few A/B Target tests on. I've never implemented Target before and there is a lot of documentation. Where would I start to setup Target for my localhost? My local is the only environment I have to test on.   I'm using AEM Cloud.  Any directions would be appreciated.

Hi Team,   Can we  shuffle the entities and show the entities then?   For E.g if criteria returns 48 entities then we should show first 12 entities (using 12 slots in the design) for one hours and then next 12 entities for next 1 hour and so on and then again shows the first 12.   Any suggestions around this would be really helpful. We have a third party user behaviour analytics solution which captures Target Activity and Experience names as page attribute, so that we can filter sessions that have specific experience on, and closely analyse user behaviour, etc. We have an issue with a re-direct A/B test, in which the 'experience B' is served in an alternative URL. On the page load of that 'b page', the name of the Target Activity/Experience is not available like other in-page alteration Target Activity. (i.e. the activity name is not showing up in Adobe Experience Debugger). This means the third party solution cannot capture that Target Activity/Experience names as a part of the page session.    Is there any solution that can be employed in order to address this?  e.g. the redirect URL for that 'experience b' includes s_tnt parameter which includes the Target Activity ID. As much as we prefer Target Activity Name, this can be used to filter out sessions. Is there any parameter that pass on experienc

Hi Team,   I have such data in the feed :   ##entity.id entity.name entity.offerType entity.inventory 11-SPO aa 11 1 23-AS bb 22 1 34-PO cc 11 0 45-UI dd 13 4 56-OK ee 11 1   offerType can have the similar value . Recommendation could return top 3 entities but 11-SPO and 34-SPO would be similar item. how do I stop 34-PO not to show in recommendatons?
