orderConfirmMbox - Can we pass additional info in the orderID ?

Hi Team,

 

As per my understanding  - order id, order total & productPurchaseID , these three fields could be send to Target through orderConfirmMbox. For our requirement we also need additional info like "discountApplied"  to be passed in the mbox. So can I pass that like this :


orderId : transactionID|discountApplied

 

So wanted to ask if it could impact the Top Sellers at Target end?

I mean can I pass other info in the orderId value using "|" ? My fear is it may not impact the Top Sellers algorithm of the recommendation.

    We pass customer id and time stamp into the order id field. The only requirement I am aware of is that it needs to be unique. We separate with hyphens and we are able to retrieve via api or the download url.
