Pop Up without Lightbox templates

Is it possible to get a pop-up coming from the bottom or the right of the page without using the provided lightbox templates? Lightbox templates darken and block the content of the page unless users don't hit CTA buttons and we want to avoid that. 

My use case is to get the pop-up window from the center-right of the page but avoid blocking the content on the page. The pop-up could be static or disappear after 10 seconds if the user doesn't respond.

How can we make it possible? Any templates or reference example codes would be helpful.
