Recently Viewed User Based criteria is not returning the expected products

Question

Hi Team,
 
we have used Recently Viewed User Based criteria in one of our recommendations activity.
 
Expectations : After viewing few products on the website. When a visitor comes back to website, the visitor should get the recently viewed products.
Please note, entityId is triggering on each and every product page.
 
Scenario 1 : We tested this after we viewed and closed the products page after 30 minutes of inactivity of product pages. We viewed the product  in different tab but same browser. This way each viewed product had different sessionIds
 
Scenario 2 :
We tested this in same browser and same tab and closed the browser after viewing each product. We did not wait for 30 mins of inactivity.
 
In both scenarios. returned products were not the one we viewed. Every user is getting the same set of products recommended no matter what they  view.
 
I am not able to understand this behaviour. Can someone advise me something on this ?

Hi @ambikatewari_atci - Just checking, but have you run a mboxTrace to see the information attached to the Target responses? Usually, this can help determine the issue and where it is coming from.
