Hello,

It was recently proposed to me to dynamically append UTM parameters to URLs using the typology rules.

Could anyone explain it to me in detail?

Thanks,
Salvatore

Hello @salvatore_dange ,

Like i mentioned earlier you can use the adobe genesis connector to append dynamic parameters fto track your delivery performance in Analytics.

Here is the link to documentation on how to implement everything.
https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/campaign-classic/using/getting-started/connectors/adobe-analytics-data-connector.html

On Point #8 there is an example on how to set up dynamic parameter values.

Thanks

Hi Salvatore,

The click tracking formula in Adobe Campaign can be modified to include UTM parameters. This is achieved by modifying the NmsTracking_ClickFormula contained in Administration > Platform > Options

Thanks

David

Hello @salvatore_dange ,

What kind of dynamic parameters you want to append to the URLs?
If you want to append dynamic parameters to track campaign in Analytics. Then you can update the click formula in the Adobe Genesis connector to append dynamic parameters ti the URLs.

Also control typology is used to validate something in the delivery not to alter the delivery.

Hello @_manoj_kumar_,

The idea is to append these input parameters: utm_hid (with the value of recipient's hashed crm id), utm_campaign and utm_delivery (with values taken from the current delivery and campaign)
Do you know if it's feasible to do this with a typology rule? I agree with you, but I would like to proof that is not possible.

Thanks,
Salvatore
