Are clicks on the unsubscribe link counted in the clicks also?

Hi I was hoping someone may be able to answer what im sure everybody except me already knows ...  Are clicks on the unsubscribe link counted in the distinct clicks also?

I am doing some reporting on a recent campaign for a review tomorrow and I know someone is going to ask...  Any help greatly appreciated.

In addition, verify that your unsub link is tagged at "Optout' type in your delivery tracking. Cause if you don't specify it, that could be track at a normal click... and you could have 0 unsubscription ...

Hello Becky,

No the opt-out clicks are not counted when reporting distinct clicks. Only the type == Email click is considered when calculating distinct clicks.

Opt-outs are calculated and reported separately.
