Creating and implementing a new Typology rule.

Hi there, I have created a new typology rule (within Adobe Campaign 6.1) to exlcude any recipients from receiving more than 1 email per day. I believe the rule is set up correctly, however, upon sending an email, looking at the audit tab within the delivery, of all the typology rules being loaded, my new rule is not one, and it is not being applied. Has anyone successfully created a new typology rule and successfully implemented it? What are the steps to take?

Hi Andy,

The setup looks absolutely fine.

Only missing link I can think of is that you didn't set a contact date for your delivery. This is mandatory for pressure rules to be applied.

Please schedule the delivery by setting it for a future date.

Hi Vipul,

I guess you mean this tab. I have selected the folder in which my rule sits.

I can see that my Typology rule is within the set of rules to apply (the very bottom rule).

However, when i look at the Audit of the delivery, this rule is not being applied, but all the others are.

Hi Andy,

Please see the typology being used inside your delivery. you can find this from Delivery's Properties on the Typology tab.

Then go and check if the new typology rule you have created is part of this typology or not.

I believe you might have missed this part.
