Forcing email background for darkmode

Hi everybody!

We have an email template on ACS, where the background color is already white (#F5F5F5) inside the body of the HTML. 
Once we open the email in the iOS native email app, for instance, it respects the email background color even tho the phone is in dark mode. However, if I open the same email with the Outlook app, it removes the white background. 

Is there a way to force the email background to be white in all apps??

The only way to force a white background on all devices/apps is by using an image. Add a white-coloured image as a background image instead of a background colour.
