Need to hit and capture HTTPS API response in a content block

Question

I'm looking forward to hit an HTTPS API from a content block and capture its response (in JSON format) for displaying it in the email content.
I tried the HttpRequest() method but it doesn't seem to work. Any way to implement it in the transactional email messages?

Unfortunately this is not supported in ACS.You can't fetch external content via a content block
