Build better products with our product team
DB Vista is one of the most under-utilized features of Adobe Analytics because it requires working through Adobe's Engineering Services. I would like to see a version of DB Vista that is available to administrators as a self-service instead. Just as Data Feeds used to require Engineering Services, but now is self-service, so too could DB Vista. I have found that Data Feeds is used much more now that it is more accessible. I think the same would be true for DB Vista.I also think that this would help enable this tangentially related idea: relational data for processing rules
Hi Adobe Team,I want to submit a product requirement (Fallout report by dimension) which I believe would be a great help for lots of customers. At present we view reports / fallout report at overall level or segmented level but if we have to compare across multiple values in a dimension (e.g., Multiple values in Operating System dimension) then we have to create multiple segment which is quite slow and error prone. Having a feature in which we can add dimension as a column header (just like pivot) will greatly ease the usage. Regards,Himanshu
I love the difference between breaking down a fallout visualization touchpoint by either Fallthrough or Fallout:I'd love to see the same functionality for Segmentation: Fallthrough (current functionality) or Fallout.
Almost everything (e.g. props, evars, segments, metrics etc.) within Adobe Analytics can now have a description added to it... except AlertsIt would be incredibly useful to be able to document the purpose of the Alert within the alert itself. Please can you consider adding a description field to alerts?
when looking at the "scheduled project manager" i can see all schedules by default and have no option to filter to only "mine" (especially if i don't have any schedules). This functionality is different from all other managers where you see by default your own (or shared) items and then can expand to all items (for an admin).Request: only show the schedules of the current user by default.
We are seeing a large number of Payment Sites, especially in Asia and Europe obscuring the true referrers. We currently manage these by adding them to the list of Internal URL filters, but the list is growing, and it would be really helpful if Adobe were to start building and maintaining such a global list, similarly to the list of Social sites and Search engines.Alternatively, these payment sites can simply be excluded through "contains" filter (e.g. exclude URLs containing 'bank' or 'card'), but the current list of Internal URL filter currently requires an exact match.Understanding that some companies may, indeed, want to keep these referring domains, this feature should probably be with an on/off switch per report suite.
Current analytics intelligent alerts are much better than legacy alerts. These are some thoughts to enhanced Intelligent Alerts in 2019.1. Ability to exclude/filter alerts on weekends vs weekdays. (Much awaited request since a long time) @ursboller has great workaround ideas here https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2598789. 2. Ability to add custom text alerts on certain future dates. Campaign start/end Dates. 3. Ability to add an alert on evar/prop value anomaly. eg. "standard" login evar value anomaly vs login event anomaly.4. Ability to add an alert when a report is ready to pull in another system. Please add more thought in comments.
Currently there is no way to report video data using video heartbeat in a video within an acclerated mobile page (AMP) article. This is a major setback to implement AMP on our video heavy properties. As a media company this is crucial to us. Is there anyway to do this within the AMP infrastructure?
For example, on rubular.com using the regular expression /TestString/i matches teststring and TestString and TeSTstriNG Would also like to have \L lowercase regex replacements in an Adobe Classification Rule Builder rule. For example, match $1 and lowercase it.http://www.regular-expressions.info/replacecase.html
As an Adobe Analytics leader across many markets, I would like to enable account & data access governance by creating different permissions for our reporting users. In the Old Adobe product, you could provide Read Only access to the Admin - Report Suite settings section. This means user could at least go into the configuration of a report suite and see the eVar, Props, events, marketing channels rules that are created (but prevent their ability from modify the settings).Today you can not with the new portal. It has a "Read" view in Permission-Report Suite Tools, but you can still Write & modify configurations. This is not good for data & account set-up governance.I would recommend to redefine the current Read Views as they are quite inaccurate.
There is a point where workspace becomes extremely slow... for sure due to the number or structure of queries. Could you add a small box to log the list of queries with status (ready / loading data / processing) and last performance in terms of sec? So we can understand where is the problem...
On the Analysis Workspace 'homepage' you see a list of all your projects and projects shared with you. After a while, this list can get quite big, especially if you are creating project for other people and sharing them.It would be nice to be able to create folders so I can assign projects to different folders. I could have a folder for Projects created for others, a folder for B2C projects, one for B2B projects etc. This would make that 'homepage' cleaner and possibly easier to find the project you are looking for.
Background: 1. List variables are like eVas persistent by nature2. There is only 3 of list variables avalable per report suite3. There are growing numebr of use cases for list variables and they need to be reused more & more often Issue:When list varialbels are re-used the old values are being passed into new reports Requirement /:There is a need to enable RESET values option for list variables that would allow to delete all previous values stored in the cookies associated with the variables. This functinality is currently available for all eVars. Can it please be gtransffered to the list variables as well
When building workspace projects, sometimes it would be great to be able to toggle segments. I know I can remove segments and re-insert them, but being able to activate/de-activate them would be great. The new drop-down segment list feature is great, and does have the ability to choose the "No filter" option, which is something similar I am after.
I would like to have the following metric from mobile services visible to adobe analytics side: Push notification published count.
Our organization uses dashboards to convey relevant reporting to key stakeholders. The analytics reporting team builds and maintains dashboards that other management users access to keep in touch with feature and segment performance. However, the number of shared dashboards that we manage actively means that it is difficult to locate specific dashboards in the manage dashboard window because they are not currently organized at all. The ability to sort by name, by creator, by date last updated, or store in relevant folders would be a HUGE improvement for this feature.
In Workspace projects we often need to re-create the same, sometimes really complex, panels. It would be really beneficial to be able to save a panel for later use in another project in a repository, or just be able to copy the panel from one workspace project to another. This could also be expanded, so that panels could be created/edited by utilising a scripting language, for example Lua.
Hi, Our web analytics team is building a simplified analytics environment group in user managent to give limited access to marketeers to prevent them from getting confused about which dimension to use. However, it is not possible to control all dimensions: there is a whole range of mobile dimensions (see screenshot), e.g. mobile DRM, Mobile Java, etc. which are shown to all users by default, while they either contain crappy or no data. Can you please make sure that all dimensions, including these mobile dimensions, can be controlled in the group user settings? Regards, Sanne
In adobe, we have a bunch of Geographical reports like, Cities, Region, Country, etc. To the best of my knowl(edge, these reports are populated based on the Location of the Visitor using the information from IP, User-Agent,etc. Although, these reports wouldn't be 100% accurate in certain scenarios like, using VPN, Masking, etc but in most of the cases it is safe to say that the accuracy is good enough to conclude anything significantly. IDEA: Now that we agree that these reports are very useful and accurate enough for our analysis, why can't we have a similar set of reports using the same technological sources like , IP Addresses, User-Agents, etc to let us know the following:1. Name of the Organization/Company of Visitor (Very useful for B2B Analysis)2. Size of Org3. Industry Type4. No. of Employee ............................................................................. and many such reports.
Its a best platform to get introduce with ADOBE PROFESSIONALS and I believe you all would be agree with me; the professionals we have here are authentic at least to those who pose (outside this platform) to be Adobe Professionals (even they hardly worked on the adobe tools) and most of time they cause of much embarrassment for both (clients & adobe) when they get unable to provide standardize solutions to the customers and cause them in terms of financial loss. My idea is why not we should create/promote a platform or at-least should initiate a step to use workforce (professionals) from within this platform for some freelance or short term projects. I'm not saying that everyone would be ready or will be ready but at-least it would help on both ends. Reduce the cost for the small businesses to their short-term projects and help professionals to earn more income who wants to put their valuable time to generate more income for their annual trip
When setting targets on a bullet graph in workspace, it would be really helpful to have a callout pop up like on line graphs to show the values. Although the data is there in the tables, it can be a bit arduous to have to open up the tables to see the actuals vs the target. Since there's no way to see the target value vs the actual, we can't build a chart summary difference from them or anything.
