We need to be able to select the Project Sponsor information for groupings from the selection panel so that it can also be used on the Summary/Matrix tab.
Existing Functionality: Currently variables such as s.pageName and s.prop have a 100 character limit. This is extremely limiting when implementing a page naming strategy, particularly when including additional information with the page title. For example, site and country. In global suites, its often important to include additional information such as site, country, or a unique page ID to ensure the page name is unique and allow for additional pathing data.Idea: Increase the character limitation on s.pageName and s.prop to 255 characters to be consistent with other variables such as URL, Referrer, s.eVar, s.hier, and s.campaign.
I need help identifying bot traffic because we get a ton of it; somewhere between 30 - 40% of our page views and 5-15% of visits. I am not referring to known bots (Google Spider) or malicious bots attempting to take down our site or defraud us. I am referring to third party scrapers coming to us for information. This type of trafffic is not looked at negatviely because 1) it is not harmful to our site experience. 2) everyone does it. 3) it is difficult to police.Because we get so much bot traffic, we spend a chunk of time identifying if swings in our KPIs are real or due to non-human traffic. This slows us down considerably. The bots coming to our site use standard devices, user agent strings, operating systems, devices, and also change their IP addresses frequently. I am able to qualitatively identify this traffic because of the following:1. This traffic is typed/bookmarked.2. This traffic never has any of our campaign parameters.3. This traffic lands on pages that would not normally be a direct landing page (i.e. a specific product page)4. This traffic is from the 'Other' device type.5. Page Views = 1 per visit.6. Visits = Visitors and visits is showing very high numbers, i.e > 1k when looking at captured IP addresses. So, whoever is crawling our site is deleting their cookies on the same IP address and viewing a single page view. See attached for a screenshot. It would be great to somehow aggregate visits from different visiors (cookies) where certain behaviors are taking place. For example: Exclude all 'Visitors' if1. 'Any value' for a given variable (evar/prop) shows up more than X times.AND2. PVs per Visit for each visit <= 1AND3. Traffic Source for all visits is typed/bookmarked.We can solve for this in SQL , but not sure its doable in Adobe. Any thoughts?
It will be highly flexible if the Launch properties could be mapped and remapped to Environments (embed codes). The benefits:- no need to contact website dev team to update the embed codes- easy to fix an issue if a wrong embed code is added to the page (website)- easy to merge the implementation on several websites into one property or vice versa to split websites among various properties How would the analytics developer/ architect work with this feature:1. Create environments one per website/ domain/ website environment/ app2. Ask the web team to add the embed codes3. Manage the environments mapping in the Launch UI
Hi, Current version of Custom Resource Publication supports only two options: Publish since last published or repair database. Can we include one more option where user can select resources he/she wants to publish. This will prevent overwrite of someone's work as well if user forgot to check 'Do not synchronise' option in custom resource. We can include it like direct reference to list of available resources and then select resources that needs to be published.Publishing all the tables since last modification is time consuming.
Would like the ability to post an update to a task without leaving project view. This would allow workers to perform fewer clicks when working on a project from the project view.Similarly, they would like to log time inline, as well, but there's a separate idea posted in Innovation Lab for this request (see "Log time inline on Task in the Project View").
Description -We have a SPA (single page application/asynchronous) webshop, where Launch is loaded only once on the first page. With the debugger I can see, that Target parameters set with "add params to page load request" are still there when going to next page (which is a asynchronous load). e.g. parameters for a product (detail page) are send again on next page even when it is another page type. This could break things. Why is this feature important to you -As I said in description, Target parameters set on one page are send on the next page even if this does not make sense. The option "don't send if empty value" does not work. How would you like the feature to work -The Target extension v1 and v2 should get a "clear variables" Option/Rule just as the Analytics extension have. Or the option "don't send if empty value" has to check if the Launch parameter has changed.Current Behavior -Tremendous parameters are send with Target v2 on our SPA. Adobe support told me to put it here in ideas. Please vote for it if have or plan to get a Single Page Application with Target.
Users with access to the Job Role table need to enter bill/cost per hour in the HQs base-currency (in our case it's GBP).When adding non-GBP rates (i.e. EUR) we need to convert the EUR rates offline into GBP (aligned to the Workfront currency table) and then add the rates in as GBP.A more user-friendly and accurate set up would be to enable job role bill/cost per hour entry in the local currency (i.e. EUR or GBP or CNY etc) and utilise the Workfront currency table to convert that value into GBP for reporting purposes. This will ensure the HQ reviews an accurate list of job role bill/cost rates globally vs. the current set up which relies on fixed currency values (exchange rates) and rates entered against the HQ base-currency.Notes/ConsiderationsThe user would need to select their local currency when updating the rate table. The local currency entry would need to be a fixed value (i.e. € 120 would not change even if the converter is updated in the exchange rate table). The job roles database table would need to store values against the entered currency.Best,Christian
The lead database has both email address and a custom id number field as the unique combination identifier for de-duplicating people. Accordingly, when linking a custom object record to a person, it would be helpful to match it using more than one link field.
I would like the ability to preview marketo emails in various email clients, both desktop and mobile, without having to buy third party integrations, at least the basics: - Apple iPhone Mail - Gmail - Apple Mail - Outlook - Samsung Mail - Android Mail
THIS IS SIMILAR TO - Copy/Paste a draft list of tasks from Excel and/or Word into a Project BUT NOT THE SAME.For anyone using "objects" as deliverables, I would like to propose being able to upload a spreadsheet to upload a large list of deliverables, instead of having to create an entry on the clunky custom form 175 times to create enough deliverables to execute 1 job. If you could export the table structure, fill out the information, and then upload it. It would be a great feature that would cut down those jobs that are more easily handled via excel because of the number of deliverables. You lose valuable data and analytics when teams work around this in excel and email to get the job done.
Change the terminology of Templates to customize per layout template as we can do for Projects, Issues, etc
I'd like to be able to differentiate code in comments and descriptions. To my knowledge, there isn't even an option for monospace text for portions of a comment, but I could be wrong there.I'd like for Workfront to adopt a system similar to JIRA.https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/WikiRendererHelpAction.jspa?section=allThere are lots of apps that support markdown, this site aggregates them and their level of support.https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/WikiRendererHelpAction.jspa?section=allEven in this "post an idea" form, there is no method for me to use a code block or something similar. If I wanted to do something like this in JIRA, it would look like the following: {code:html}<a href="/link-to-something.html">Link Text</a>{code} A similar request has been made in the past but it didn't get many votes. https://one.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z000000PSBQAA4/detail
Currently, the "A document is added to a job I own" notification only fires to job owners upon upload of the first version of a document. If more document versions are uploaded on top of the first version, the job owner does NOT receive a notification. Our job owners would like to be notified upon upload of every document version.
It would be an amazing feature if there were an option to share report settings in an easy format (XML?). That way, Workfront Community members could send a quick exported string for a report that may help users from other companies. The user on the receiving end could have an "import" feature, where they paste in the string or XML, and can then adjust columns, filters, groupings, etc. to meet their needs.I'd love to see and easily import reports from other (more creative) users that may work for us, and I don't think I'm alone. Is this on the roadmap?
