We are trying out the integration of Adobe Target via Adobe DTM. The situation is that there are some existing pages that already have mbox integrated in the page. Now,when we rollout the Adobe Target tool via Adobe DTM. We find that this tool is loading in every single page!. I tried setting up the page specific criteria to identify the set of pages where this needs to load. Though the mbox wrapper fires only on these specific pages, the Mbox.js itself is still getting loaded in every page. How does one avoid Target from loading in every page where DTM is loaded.? I'm told that for sitecatalyst, I can accomplish this via page specific code. What about Target?Regards,Dheepak

Has anybody been able to integrate Target via DTM and use a redirect offer?I've implemented the mbox call as seen on the "Configure synchronous mbox.js loading" help file at http://microsite.omniture.com/t2/help/en_US/dtm/t_target_synchronous_load.html.This seems to work fine when Target is just replacing content on the page. However, for a redirect type, it outputs something like this into the mbox instead of actually redirecting the page:mboxCurrent.setOnLoad(function() {window.location.replace('url of redirect');});I know the redirect offer itself works as I've implemented it on a different page not using DTM and it redirects fine.

I am looking for help trying to understand the proper way to place a tag.I would like to verify my website on Pinterest and in order to do this I must place a tag in the
section of my homepage. Even though my DTM header script is in the
section of my site, when i set the page load tag to fire at the top it still fires in the
.Can someone please help me understand how to create a rule in DTM in order to have the 3rd party script load in a line before
on my site.Thank you.

Previously the Opinion lab was set via page load rule with non-sequential javascript which looked like that:(function () { // MAIN OL ENGINE var voc2 = document.createElement("script"); var b = document.getElementsByTagName('body')[0]; voc2.language = "javascript"; voc2.type = "text/javascript"; voc2.charset = "windows-1252"; voc2.src = "//xx-tagging.s3.amazonaws.com/onlineopinionV7/oo_engine_invite.min.js"; b.appendChild(voc2, b); }()); As Opinion Lab changed their set up now I need to load three new files via DTM: oo_engine.js, oo_config.js and oo_style.js . Is the best to host the files locally and reference them like shown above or place the actual code in the three separate page load rules? I'd really appreciate if anybody could share their experience. Also I need to make sure the engine file is loaded prior the configuration file. What is the best way to achieve this? Thanks in advance

Hello,Right now we have Offers under Campaigns in AEM that are pushed to Abode T&T using the T&T Cloud Service Configurations.Newly we started implementing Adobe DTM and my question is does DTM allow us to push the same offers in AEM to T&T with out the intervention of the T&T Cloud Service?? ThanksPranay

Hi All,we are using DTM in our application . this url we are calling https://assets.adobedtm.com/95c8c0a378a45cf5bc582abd33a15aa1a/satelliteLib-2b2a53dd4702ffad815d85cf27cb-staging.jsfrom our code but it is failing when we are in VPN . how to load this url when we are in VPN , the testing environment is some where in the remote machine. to connect to it we need VPNThanksRaj

Hi - is it possible to disable Google Universal Analytics delivery on an individual property inside DTM? One of the three domains in my property is actually having issues with GUA (specifically, the autolinker is decorating links incorrectly and causing some issues with pages not able to be delivered correctly) and I was wondering if I could simply disable GUA (or the autolinker itself? I don't need the domains linked.) We have a plan in the process to allow us to take these domains to separate properties, but the site development required will not be accomplished for several months and I was looking for a faster solution. Thanks.

I’m trying to setup an event (button click) based rule for a my site in DTM.The button has the following;· Inner HTML - Next · Outer HTML - Next· CSS selector - button.cta:nth-child(1)I tried creating the rule based on the css selector (button.cta:nth-child(1)) & also without the CSS filter (button#trigger-step2), but neither option worked.Could someone please provide any guidance on what I’m doing wrong? Thanks!

Hi Guys,I would need pass a dynamic value (which I collected with Data element) and put this into a pixel image (marketing pixel). I've trying to call a Data Element into 3th party tag, HTML (syncr or asyncr), but I cannot know form of call it also I'm trying call this into javascript type, and in this I can call Data Element but i can't add a pixel (not permisse use document.write).Ideally I would like that can call Data Element on HTML (sync or asyncr) and in this put a dynamic value into image pixelPS: pixel is like :Any idea?Julià.

Hello All,We are in the process of designing a DataLayer to be consumed by DTM. The application rewrite is in Process and we are moving to AngularJS implementation from ASP.NET pagesImplementing DataLayer Object for Page Loads Metric and utilizing it in DTM looks straight forward. But capturing user actions in the DataLayer is little confusing. Suppose, I create "User Action Object" per page like an example below "category": "link_tracking", "action": "link_clicked", "link_name": "My Insurance Logo",How do I use it in DTM? I mean how should I use this object to map it to an event? Regards

Hello everbody, regarding to this FAQ page articlehttp://www.searchdiscovery.com/satellite/adobedtm-faq/ (Does Adobe DTM support Multi-Media tags like video playback analysis?)i want to track video events (started, play, pause, ended) for YouTube embedded videos. But honestly i don't know what that means. On implementing side i found an example on how to embed YouTube videos und recognizing the mentioned events above. In this case i can call the _satellite.track("video_started") function and detect this within DTM by a direct call rule. BUT i want to know if there is another way tracking YouTube videos natively. This is important because i don't have access for a page i want to implement the tracking logic. So does anyone knows what that means "They have native support for HTML5, YouTube API, and Vimeo API." and how to treat it? Thanks in advanceAxel

In our DTM implementation, we're using an old hosted s_code alongside DTM. We're using a data layer throughout the site, but on our CQ (content) side, the data layer population is based on an AJAX call that doesn't happen until DOM Ready - by that time, DTM has already fired. My pageload rule is capturing everything on our commerce side without incident, but the CQ side will not pass the data in the data layer. We tried delaying the pageBottom call, but that just created 2 image requests. Moving the pageload from Bottom to Onload prevented any variables configured via DTM to pass. Has anyone run into anything similar? Thanks,Chad

When I setup a rule and go to my Adobe Analytics section, and specify it to be triggered as an s.tl call, there is a problem with using the custom code section. Apparently DTM seems to be overwriting s.linkTrackVars and s.linkTrackEvents so I cannot populate any Adobe Analytics variables from there.

Hey Community,Does anyone run an AngularJS (or similar single page experience) site with Adobe Analytics implemented via DTM. I'd like a good example to base my implementation on. If you have any documentation or best practices to share regarding DTM and angularJS please also let me know. Thanks in advance!

I have a website successfully wired up with DTM, and one tool (Adobe Analytics) configured. I'm getting data through to my report suite as expected. My CMS uses an IFRAME to preview content, and this means every time a page is navigated to in the CMS, my analytics tag is fired. My CMS lives on www.mysite.com/EPiServer and I thought I should just add a page load rule that excludes paths that include "EPiServer". I configured one as attached, but I'm still getting analytics tags fired when pages are viewed in the CMS.Any ideas?

I am tagging a microsite which is built on one page. I want s.tl calls to fire once each section of the page appears in the viewport for 2 seconds. When I use Event Type 'enters viewport' and select the radio button 'for ____ milliseconds [and use 2000 in the blank], the Adobe Analytics call fires twice. If I change this to the immediately radio button it fires only once, but it does not get me the metric that I am interested in because it does not tell me if a person has actually stopped on a given section to look at it or just scrolled quickly past it.Thanks!

Hi there, I need to implement this piece of third party (Google AdWords) code using DTM and am getting an error message - "Unexpected token: operator (<) (line: 2, col: 0)"
<img height="1" width="1" style="border-style:none;" alt="" src="//www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion/1069691071/?value=1.00&currency_code=GBP&label=JuECCPnNxwQQv-GI_gM&guid=ON

Hello,It doesn't appear to be available functionality, but I am new to DTM and would like to know if it may be possible to configure custom workflows in DTM?Our internal business process around DTM will essentially involve varied levels of "approver" involvement depending on the types of DTM rules created/submitted for approval (i.e. more thorough ITQA testing will be required for higher risk rules that involve custom code, whereas they won't need to be involved for what we consider simple low risk rules). It would be great if I could somehow configure custom workflows to funnel different types of requests (as defined internally) into the appropriate custom workflows. Thanks,Jason

Dear all,Link tracking is always a big question for web-analytics implementation in order to make sure click information are recorded.1/ Easiest solution is to add a timer on the link. However I wonder what is the best:Use DTM out of the box link activation delayAsk developer to hard code it (E.g: have a script to delay all links)2/ Alternative is to add a timer on outbound links (no choice for this) and track internal links on the next page.Which solution do you use the most? Is it as well a big preoccupation for you? Does people care in your organization about impact on user experience? And last, do you think tracking on next page make DTM setup more complicated? Thanks in advance for sharing.Julia

Hi,for a DTM implementation on a jive system we need to fire Adobe Analytics tracking call until DOMReady is reached. We want to collect attributes and data from jive which seemed to be set asynchonous in DOM. At the moment Analytics it is fired most of tracking information is yet not set in DOM.Any idea how to tell DTM to execute Analytics tracking call when the jive object is ready? Thanks & Regards,Michael

I can't seem to find any documentation on the form that the custom script needs to be written for conditions on the page load rule. I'm trying to write a page load rule for my error page to set the pageType=error page. The rule is not loading at all from what I can tell. When I put the code from the condition into my console, I can see that my variable "myBool" fires as true, so my code is correct (I think!)For the condition, I am basing it on our H1 tag to identify the page (triggered at bottom of page):is404 = function () {    var myBool = false;    var myH1 = document.getElementsByClassName("hero-title")[0].innerHTML.toString();    if (myH1 == "The information you are trying to access has moved." ) {        myBool = true;    }    return myBool;}is404(); Then in the rule portion for Adobe Analytics, I am setting the custom page code to:var s= window.s||s;s.pageType=errorPage;

Hello DTM Experts,I am working on the DTM implementation and it seems to be going really well before I encountered this requirement to set the currency event (Ex: event10=4.55) for a event based rule.Any examples would be of great help.cheers,Scott

We are in the process of evaluating DTM and one of the key issues that we see is that DTM requires different embedded code for Staging and Production sites. We do not want to embed the staging code on the pages in case it accidentally get pushed out to production site.We want to just use the production code while still have ability to test the rules, more in line with old Adobe Tag Manager where one can use cookie to test out the code.Any thoughts or best practices around this.

In DTM, I need to keep Adobe Analytics from firing on a particular page, but I still need the DTM code on the page. How do you do that? For individual pageload rules, you can tick "Don't load Google Analytics on these pages," but that is not an option for Adobe Analytics. Anyone have an idea of how to do it?

We have an issue where we're not being allowed to use query string params for internal campaigns because of caching issues. Does anyone have any experience with using DTM (specifically data layer) to populate campaign IDs and assign to proper campaign types?
