Hello, I am able to get/set campaign configuration settings using the T&T API, but I cannot find a way to get or set NOTES to the campaign. T&T API: https://marketing.adobe.com/developer/en_US/documentation/test-target/pdf Does anyone knows of a way to achieve any of the following goals with the T&T API? a. Add a Note to the campaign when updating it using the API. b. Retrieve the ID of the last change log after updating the campaign. c. Retrieve the date of the last change log after updating the campaign. d. Retrieve the last modification date of a campaign, along with the user info of the user who modified it? Any of the above data will help me keep a proper change log for any updates made to a campaign using the API. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi all,I was wondering how does one go about configuring an mbox recommendation script for a particular page rule? For example I have a page rule defined that already has the global mbox but what if I also want to fire off a recommendation script on the same page? Do I add the recommendation script to the JavaScript/Third Party Tags section? Thanks, Edwin

Page Tagging is available then what is the reason to keep Multivariate Testing Component? What exactly is difference between these two features.

Hello, I just wanted to ask if there is a solution to parse the results of the performance API report to a CSV file. I have read the documentation and notice that this could be done by creating a script using Perl, Python or Ruby, however I don't really know any of the scripting languages and I do need to create reports from my campaigns that can be distributed in excel. Is there any way of transferring API's results to CSV without having to write a script.Thanks in advance,Ivan

Hello experts!According to the Adobe Target Classroom book, PCID profile data is cleared/reset in a maximum of 84 days.Does this mean that I cannot connect two sessions of web activity that happen 4 months apart to the same person? ie is the PCID cleared, or just the profile data for that ID?If the latter, this will be a nightmare for Master Data Management, and maintaining a Single Customer View, unless I'm missing something? Thanks, Chris.Marketing consultant, UK.

Hi all, Authors can edit the i18n text using i18n Translator provided by AEMhttp://localhost:4502/libs/cq/i18n/translator.html https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/cq/5-6-1/developing/cq5-translator.html After making updates - is there any easy way by which Content Author themselves can activate the i18n changes to Publish server.   Once way to do is to use Tree Activationhttp://localhost:4502/etc/replication/treeactivation.html But content authors might not have access to do this.  Is there any other easy way which Content Authors can use to replicate i18n node changes ?

I seeing some differences in the resulting images that I cannot figure out. A PSD loaded into AEM and allowing it to publish to scene7 is changing the shadows on my images to no longer contain alpha transparency. If I load the same image directly into scene7 all is correct. Anybody have a clue what is happening?

Hi,I am trying to find how to completely remove the filter path from the  content package in AEM using Java. My scenario is like, when author deactivate the page, then that particular page path in the filter of the content package has to be removed. And it has to be implemented using Java. If some have solution, Please let me know. I am using com.day.jcr.vault.fs.api.PathFilterSet, com.day.jcr.vault.fs.config.DefaultWorkspaceFilter and  com.day.jcr.vault.packaging.JcrPackageManager.  Regards,Sai

We are using AEM6.1 and implementing OOTB search functionality. The requirement is that we have to implement StopWords(will not allow user to search common words such as like,for,is) and Spellcheck(Did you mean ?) features as part of this implementation.Can anyone suggest as the best way to achieve this requirement and possible steps to cnfigure these details.Thanks,Sambasivaraja.

Hello Folks,we have a two different requirement in our project.1. We have 1 author server and 4 publish servers, 2 is for prod(for internet users) and other 2 are for prod preview(for internal users), internal users have to certify the content before it goes to external users. So Author should be having such flexibility, so that he can select the desired publish environment while activating content. 2. Other requirement is to publish assets to some web server other than publish servers for some other application.Can you guys please provide your valuable suggestion in achieving the above requirements.  ~RegardsSatya

 Hi,Can anyone help me to get "com.adobe.granite.ui.components" package jar from AEM 6.1?Regards,Vikram.

I am trying to configure saml authentication handler using - http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/administer/security/saml-2-0-authenticationhandler.html.I am using ssocircle IDP for my testing and configured the logout url in SAML authetication handler ashttps://idp.ssocircle.com:443/sso/IDPSloPost/metaAlias/ssocircle.SAML autehtication is working, when I try to open the configured path, I get redirected to IDP login page and after authentication the AEM page opens fine. Problem comes when I try to logout from AEM. I expect the IDP logout page that we configured in SAML should open but actually it opens the AEM login page. Could anyone point what am I missing over here. Do we need to put something in the IDP source provider metadata to enable the logout.In SAML config, I have enabled the "Handle Logout" config.Thanks,Deepak

I have 4 fields I'm adding to the userEditor. To get started I followed this tutorial. http://experience-aem.blogspot.com/2015/09/aem-61-touch-ui-add-new-fields-to-user-editor-and-save-to-profile.htmlThat works well for text inputs, but two of my fields are <select> components, one of which is multiple:<approvers jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured" class="save-button-enabler" fieldLabel="Approvers" mode="contains" multiple="true" name="./profile/approvers" renderReadOnly="false" sling:resourceType="/libs/granite/ui/components/foundation/form/select"> <datasource jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured" query="{"scope":{"groupName":"newsapprovers","declaredOnly":false}, "selector":"user"}" sling:resourceType="/libs/granite/ui/components/foundation/authorizable/selectdatasource "/> </approvers><reassign jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured" class="save-button-enabler" fieldLabel="Contact Reassignment" mode="contains" multiple="false" name="./profile/reassign" renderReadOnly

Hi,I have a property like this:@Property(name = "myvar", value = "myvalue")I need to access this property inside the code.I can do this with:@Activate public void activate(ComponentContext ctx) { Dictionary dic = ctx.getProperties(); Enumeration keys = dic.keys(); List<String> list = Collections.list(keys); Collections.sort(list); for (String key : list) if (key.equals("myvar")) portal_server = String.valueOf(dic.get((Object) key)); }Is there a simpler way?Thanks

Hi,I am trying to create a form with validations. I chose the out of the box AEM form component. I am able to achieve validations using custom validators. Also I have written custom action.The problem is, every time I need this form, I have to drag and drop the form components. I cannot have predefined reusable form. All form related components mandate that they are supposed to be used under a parsys. This is really limiting the re-usability of the form components. To solve this problem I need to take one of the following ways :Create a template and parsys and form components in the template. Use this template to create pages and get the predefined form. This has a disadvantage. This is still not a reusable component but a standalone template and cannot be used in conjunction with other components.Dynamically add components to parsys ? Can anyone please shed some light on this ?Create a custom parsys extending the existing one to add some form components by default ? Can this be done ?

I have a service I call on to create a new approver group for a user if it doesn't already exist, here's the whole method:public void updateApproverGroup(Author person) { try { Map<String, Object> param = new HashMap<String, Object>();         param.put(ResourceResolverFactory.SUBSERVICE, "WriteService"); ResourceResolver resourceResolver = resolverFactory.getServiceResourceResolver(param);       log.info(resourceResolver.getUserID());     session = resourceResolver.adaptTo(Session.class);     userManager = resourceResolver.adaptTo(UserManager.class);     String groupName = person.id + "Approvers"; //does the group exist? Group group = (Group) userManager.getAuthorizable(groupName); if(group == null) { //create the group group = userManager.createGroup(groupName,new SimplePrincipal(groupName),"/home/groups/news"); log.error(group.getPath()); } resourceResolver.commit(); } catch (Exception e) { log.error(e.getMessage()); for(int i  = 0; i < e.getStackTrace().length; i++)

Hi,I've been trying to build an app using AEM Apps, and I'm facing few challenges here.1. I could build the Geometrixx Outdoors App, which is present by default, and also install it on both the emulator and a mobile device - it was working fine on both the environments. But. when I make modifications to the same application - like deleting a few pages in it (/content/phonegap/app/en) - I could see the modifications on the web browser. But, these changes could not be reflected onto the app which was built after the changes were made. As a result, I could not see the changes reflected on either the emulator or the mobile device. I was curious to know why it was happening like this.2. Almost on the similar line, when I created a custom app using AEM Apps. I could see the content on the web browser (localhost:6100/content/phonegap/app/page.html) but not on the emulator. I can only see a white screen after the app gets loaded. Why is it happening like this ?
