Solved

Hi, all.I noticed some problems after putting the Geolocation store on a production website, and I am wondering if it's related to API usage limits, as the problem does not occur in QA environment.Do you have any experience using it in production sites? Am I supposed to use it in production at all? I couldn't find where to configure API keys or something like that on the Geolocation store.Any direction on this subject will be much appreciated.

We uses CQ5.5 and integration with site catalyst. Whenever we create a new site catalyst configuration in author instance, we want to move this new configuration to publish instance. When we try to activate the framework in author instance, the cr:content is missing in the publish instance. For example, you create the site configuration name MySiteCatalyst, it has a jcr:content node under the MySiteCatalyst node in the author instance. But in publish instance, all nodes are replicated correctly except for the jcr:content node.it also causes the 500 error under the cloud services page (/etc/cloudserivce.html) for site catalyst link. Can someone please let me know how to move the site catalyst configuration from author instance to publish instance?I tried to package it, it has the same issue, no jcr:content node.Thank you.

We are looking to cluster our CQ5.3 Author instance. By default this comes configured to cluster with the Journal Shared. We have recently upgraded the CRX to 2.2 which allows for Shared Nothing clustering. I have had a look into this and there doesn't appear to be a way to "switch" the type of clustering easily. I tried removing clustering altogether on a test instance, by removing the Cluster entry in the repository.xml, and this just ends up corrupting the instance. It seems you have to have clustering running for CQ just to work correctly. It seems that CQ has to built with new type of clustering from scratch, ie CQ5.4+. Is there a way around this?We do intend in the future to upgrade to CQ5.6 so may have to add this to part of the migration.

Iam following according to the procedure provided in the link "http://experience-aem.blogspot.in/2013/12/aem-cq-56-adding-images-in-multifield.html" and using the same js file for adding images to a multifield, but am getting an error in the "imagemultifield.js" file  at the line number-13  as"Cannot read property 'name' of undefined" .How can i clear the error and add the images to a multifield.?

In 5.6, there was a client lib proxy servlet called ClientLibraryProxyServlet added. According to http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/cq/5-6/release_notes/wcm.html#par_text_7 it says "GRANITE-1666 - Clientlibrary: New Proxy Servlet to serve client libs hosted under /libs and /apps". Is this something that is automatically working or is there some special configuration needed. We are using 5.6.1, and it did not seem to be working.

Hi,I have created a project in apps folder. In this project we have libs folder under src. Is it possible to import an external jar to this libs folder through CRXDELite only? I tried to import an external jar by right clicking on libs folder but I'm not getting any browse option to import the jar. Is it possible to import the jar using "Team -> Import..." ? Please let me know the process if it is possible, how to do it? If there is any alternative please suggest the approach.Thanks,Arya.

Hi,Out of the box, when a user publishes a site multiple times very quickly, the site's nodes can end up multiple times in the queue. This is especially true if the user does this when non of the site's nodes are replicated before. Is there a way to configure the queue so that when an item that is already in the queue is to be added to queue once again, the queue prevents the second instance to be added (i.e. to behave like a unique queue)?A solution that might work even better for us is that, pretending that we have a queue with the following elements (head: left, tail: right)A, B, C, D, E, F, GAnd then the user adds, for example, D to it again, the queue deletes the existing D and adds the new D to the end of the queue:A, B, C, E, F, G, DIs there a way to configure replication agents/queues to work like this?

I try to nodes with property that contains some text with special character like ? + and !I have 4 nodes/tmp/exclamation[@prop="value with!"]/tmp/plus[@prop="value with+"]/tmp/question[@prop="value with?"]/tmp/string[@prop="value with string"]/jcr:root/tmp//*[(jcr:contains(@prop, 'with') )] return me all 4 nodes/jcr:root/tmp//*[(jcr:contains(@prop, 'with\!') )] return me all 4 nodes/jcr:root/tmp//*[(jcr:contains(@prop, 'with\?') )] return me all 4 nodes/jcr:root/tmp//*[(jcr:contains(@prop, 'with\+') )] return me all 4 nodesHow I should correctly escape ! + ? to get only node that mach my search criteria?

I am not an IT person and probably will use the incorrect terminology but I am stuck and need someone's help.  I am attempting to change a picture in CQ5 (edit a component).  So I double-clicked the image and the edit component window opened.  I pressed "clear" to remove the previous image and dragged the new image into the "subpage image" box.  When I click "OK", I get the following message:  "Verify the values of the marked field".  I have tried to change/set everything and looked through the internet for direction but did not find any solution to this.  I'm sure it's something simple.  Can anyone on here help me?

Hi , I have a query where I want to hide the checkbox ,when multifield set is less than three. Can anyone please tell what validation or listeners to add in dialog.Regards

Hi AllI am working on CQ workflows to add metadata via dialog participant step. In my dialog I am adding a field with name="mycustomdata". When I submit the workflow step- I do not get it stored in the metaData instead it goes under history. So I can not get this data in the next step. I tried to change the name like- name="./metaData/mycustomdata" but this gives constraintViolation error and the data is not stored anywhere.javax.jcr.nodetype.ConstraintViolationException: no matching property definition found for {} mycustomdataThe Adobe documentation reflects that we can store data to workflow node via dialogs and get it in any next subsequent steps. can someone guide me how to achieve this. Thanks in advanceAnand
