Going to this: /bin/wcmcommand?cmd=copyPage on our authoring instance results in a 500 message.  However, it is using the default 500 page, rather than the custom pages I have at /apps/sling/servlet/errorhandler.  I can confirm they work because going to /bin/wcmcommand goes to those pages - note that it does not have a post request of cmd=copyPage. How can I get it to use my custom page?

Hi , I want to know that how to move the site content from author instance to public instance? Whether public instance is required in deployment machine  .If it is yes please tell me the procedure..and why it required? Thanks in advance

Looks like in 5.6.1 the link to the payload item, even if it is a valid page, results in an error. Looks like some sort of 404 error.Noticed a few other threads in this forum that elude to the same issue but, each one has no responses and trying to click into any of those threads is resulting in a 502 Bad Gateway Request. So I apologize for the same question being asked again but, anyone know if there is a hotfix available for this?

Is there an AEM API for FileNet?

Hi All,I'm trying to access Knowledge base article here but it seems many links are incorrect. 404 error.  Can you please let me know where I can find the correct article?

Hi    Media Wiki has been deprecated after CQ5.4 version. How can i integrate it with AEM to work on media wiki in AEM 5.6 and above. Its an urgent requirement . Any documentation available? Need urgent help  Thanks in advanceVeena

I'm going through the process of virtualizing all of the servers in my production AEM environment.  I thought if I disabled the replication agent on author I would be able isolate one of two available publishing instances in the cluster, perform the P2V process the re-enable the replication agent when I was all done and all the activation requests that occured while I had the replication agent disabled would flush through so that at the end of things my new VM publishing instance would be up to date with the one that is still a phyiscal machine.  Good plan, I thought, except that disabling the replication agent apparenlty takes it's replication queue along with it.  Yep, I should have checked that but I honestly thought I'd done it before and everything worked out.  Not this time.I"ve geneted a list of the assets that were activated while my first replication agent was down from the replication log of the agent that remained up and I'm manully activating everything I missed now so I'll

I have created a package with the below filter. And i installed in another CQ instance."/content/valley/en/jcr:content/header"After installed the package, The above mentioned path(node) is not getting created. So i did some ground work and come to know that CQ is not allowing me to add any single node and also jcr:content node. It is expecting the whole page(cq:Page). Is it expected behavior of CQ package concept? If it is not please let me know how can i add single node under content node in filter section to package. Thanks

HelloWhen i do a deployment on my servers, the bundle location is the following: jcrinstall:/apps/all/install/all-libs-8.0.0-SNAPSHOT.jar . But the actual version is 9.1.1.SNAPSHOT. So shouldnt the bundle location not be jcrinstall:/apps/all/install/all-libs-9.1.1-SNAPSHOT.jar ? That the bundle work, i have to uninstall it and reinstall it by hand then it works and the path is correct. But by building it automaticly the path is incorrect.Does any one have an idea why it is like that?

We have a custom authentication handler. But we want to check if the user is logged into CQ5 for example if they are on the author. I know we could just do an isAuthor check but we want to be able to see which user it is who is signed in. The custom auth is only used on certain parts of the site and grants access depending on info obtained from the commerce aspect of our site but we also want to check who the cq5 user is if anybody. When I say CQ5 user I'm referring to the user who would log in when accessing the author for example on the AEM splash page when first hitting the author url. I have spend quite a bit of time getting no where with this, from what I can see the authentication info is contatinred in a cookie called login-token but I can't work out how to 'decode' that to get the user name and validate the password is correct. Hope this makes sense. (This is on a 5.6 implementation of CQ5).

Hi, I am working on 5.6.1. Can someone let me know the stable versions for Eclipse, JDK and Maven to be used along with it?

I am exporting a particular image from Scene7 media portal. Under the image options i select the convert file option in the conversion. I am presented with the width and height option. HiAs a web manager / author I am looking to extract from CQ5 some basic content managment informatione.g.What pages have been modified in the last monthWhere assets are being usedWho modified what child pages (and when) under a specific nodeThe ability to create our own content managemnt analysis (e.g. pages / snippets which have specific text in them)I know this is visible through the authoring tool but the ability to extract this info (to a report or spreedsheet) is useful in terms of monitoring what pages are going stale with the business stake holders. What author managment reporting tools does CQ5 offer and is it part of the standard deploymentMany thanks for your helprgdsAlan

Hi,Does the linkchecker transformer, apart from checking broken links, transform long links in generated HTML pages to their short forms?For example, we have this configuration in our /etc/map.publish:{ "jcr:created":"Mon Mar 31 2014 22:17:42 GMT+1100", "jcr:primaryType":"nt:folder", "jcr:createdBy":"admin", "http":{ "jcr:created":"Mon Mar 31 2014 22:17:42 GMT+1100", "jcr:primaryType":"nt:folder", "jcr:createdBy":"admin", "site-1":{ "sling:internalRedirect":[ "/content/myapp/e4/b0/70/b06c95be-f9e6-4c67-b7ac-4c961e7ac41b/home" ], "jcr:created":"Mon Mar 31 2014 22:17:42 GMT+1100", "jcr:createdBy":"admin", "jcr:primaryType":"sling:Mapping", "sling:match":"site-1.4503", "redirect":{ "sling:internalRedirect":[ "/content/myapp/e4/b0/70/b06c95be-f9e6-4c67-b7ac-4c961e7ac41b/home/$1", " /$1" ], "jcr:created":"Mon Mar 31 2014 22:17:42 GMT+1100", "jcr:createdBy":"admin", "jcr:primaryType":"sling:Mapping", "sling:match":"(.+)$" } }, "site-1-homepage.4503":{ "sling:internalRedirect":[ "/content/mya

We have upgraded from 5.5 SP3 to 5.6.1 and are having problems with getting i18n content using the org.apache.sling.i18n.ResourceBundleProvider interface. We inject a ResourceBundleProvider into a service and the implementation we are getting is com.adobe.granite.i18n.impl.bundle.PseudoTranslations. After having a quick look at this class after decompilation, it looks like some kind of a mock implementation? We would expect some real implementation like JcrResourceBundleProvider. The i18n bundle we are running after upgrading is (containing the PseudoTranslations implementation)Adobe Granite I18N Module (com.day.cq.cq-i18n)          Symbolic Namecom.day.cq.cq-i18nVersion5.5.10

Hi everyone,I'm trying to front load my user nodes creation by syncing with my ldap active directory. I'm aware of the syncAllUsers function available from the JMX console, but it  appears to only sync users that have already logged in before.I have also explored the possibility of running a cron job (OSGI bundle on a Sling scheduler schedule) but I'm getting a "Cannot instantiate class: com.sun.jndi.ldap.LdapCtxFactory" error. It looks like there is a conflict with the com.sun.jndi.ldap package loaded as part of CQ.I'm running CQ5.5 SP3.Any insight is very welcome. Thanks
