Id like to know if anyone knows of any forums to speak with people who are looking for jobs within the CQ5 Development area; I know this is probably not the correct area to post this and hence I do not wish to annoy anyone. Any assistance would be great.

Does anyone have a clue as to the direction licensing is going to take with AEM?  We have purchased licenses for CQ5 and are debating whether to pay the maintenance fee.  Is Adobe planning on moving to a subscription model for AEM?

Is there a way to support multiple versions of a component? Supporting multiple versions of JSPs seems to be doable, but a couple things I'm not sure of. One would be versioning dialogs...could I put something in place that would respond to the dialog.overlay.infinity.json request and choose between multiple dialogs? The other would be handling calls out to OSGi bundles - I think it's supposed to be possible to have multiple versions of a bundle in Felix, but how would that be referenced in a JSP?Thanks

I know that AEM allows me to sell physical products, but does it offer the capability for videos, reports, or other documents to be purchased and downloaded from an AEM site?

Hi,I'm enabling the RTE plugins using the API. So I enabled the EditToolsPlugin as below:JSONObject editPlugin = new JSONObject(); editPlugin.put(JcrConstants.JCR_PRIMARYTYPE, JcrConstants.NT_UNSTRUCTURED); editPlugin.put("features", "*"); rtePlugins.put("edit", editPlugin); When I access the dialog I have all the edit functions/icons displayed. However I need to set the features to paste-plaintext as thats the only option I require from the plugin. I've tried change the feature code line to a number of combinations from String to String Arrays.editPlugin.put("features", "paste-plaintext");editPlugin.put("features", editPlugin.put("features", new String[]{"paste-plaintext"});private String[] features = {"paste-plaintext"};editPlugin.put("features", features);None of these appear to work. The API for the plugin does say "You may provide a String value of "*" to enable all features of the respective plugin, or provide a String[] that contains the IDs of active features" .... so what does

Hi, Newbie question here. When using the query builder interface and get a set of results. I use something like this:for (Hit hit : result.getHits()) { ValueMap props = hit.getProperties(); String title = props.get("jcr:title").toString(); }However if the property is an array (such as props.get("cq:tags") ), it returns what appears to be a generic object. How do I extract the string[] value from that object? to get the contents? Thanks,- Dmitry

Hello All, I am new to Adobe CQ5 and I am looking for a way my users on my website could easily login to edit the page that they are on. I would like to create a link on the page that says to edit this page click here. After clicking on it they would be directed to login and then straight back to the page to edit that page. I want to be able to skip the Green Editor (WCM editor) because a lot of my users have no experience but the drop and drag features are pretty easy to use. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Afrazita

Hello,I was wondering if there was a way to create some kind of component or macro that allows you to create a child page from the website, without having to go through the AEM or CRXDE.Basically, I want a user to be able to go to the website and for there to be a "add new page" link or button that will allow the user to add a child page under the current one.Any suggestions or help would be most appreciated.Thanks.
