Hi,As per the project requirement, I need to externalize the Binary data store from CRX default repository and also I need to access that external Binary data repository from multiple Author Instances(AEM 6.0). We need to use TarMK as a database.I am able to externalize the Binary Data repository using "org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.plugins.blob.datastore.FileDataStore.cfg" file. But, I am not able to cluster multiple author instances in TarMK to access this repository. How can I achieve this? Please help!! Regards,Kaustav Majoomder

I have not been able to get the "child-resources" injector to work within the @Source annotation.Documentation I am using: http://sling.apache.org/documentation/bundles/models.htmlI have tried to use the @Inject with a List<Resources> object. Does anyone have an example of this injector working? The ACS Commons does not have an example of this. My model works when I remove the children code and only get the title.package com.github.models.models; import java.util.List; import javax.inject.Inject; import javax.inject.Named; import org.apache.sling.api.resource.Resource; import org.apache.sling.models.annotations.Model; import org.apache.sling.models.annotations.Source; @Model(adaptables=Resource.class) public class Region { @Inject @Named("jcr:title") private String title; @Inject @Source("child-resources") private List<Resource> children; public String getTitle() { return title; } public List<Resource> getChildren() { return children; } }

Workflows, Search, Taxonomy, Content Analytics and access management are features that can be found as well in web content management systems as in traditional knowledge management solutions. As such I am wondering whether any AEM customers have used AEM for knowledge management and have integrated AEM successfully with external entitlement solutions in order to restrict access to content. If so what went well and where did you face challenges?Furthermore I would be interested in hearing about your experience in making large entitled software downloads available through AEM and how it impacted performance of the overall system.If this is not the right community to ask this type of question please feel free to point me into the right direction. Thanks!

Hi All,Is there any way to get the page status as modified which is displayed on siteadmin (Modified indicator) by programticaly?.Thanks,Mike

Hello everybody. I'm trying to use and understand the new AEM features like Apps with Phonegap, but with some problems.To begin with, the Content Sync. So, here is my situation:- I'm building the Geometrixx Outdoors Apps (from the page English) via PhoneGap Build [selecting this "page" of the app and clicking on "Build Remote", after configuring my PhoneGap cloud service];- Then, I download the .apk from my PhoneGap account and install it on a mobile Android Device;- When I open it on my Android device (in this case, a virtual machine running Android 4.3), the App works just fine and I can see the app fetching data from my AEM server via Android logs on the first time it runs (log below);However, when I changed some content on my server (author instance), saved it and published it, then click "Update" on my app, the content is not synced and I can see errors regarding the fetch try of the app (as the log on the link below show). This changes can

Currently working on the PoC where I have a servlet that listens on CQ resource e.g.@Component(metatype = true, label = "IndexingPage") @Service @Properties({ @Property(name = "sling.servlet.resourceTypes", value = {"indexing/components/pages/page"}), @Property(name = "sling.servlet.methods", value = "GET"), @Property(name = "sling.servlet.extensions", value = { "html" }) })Servlet performs logic to retrieve data from another system, after servlet finish I want to render a page using CQ templating mechanism e.g. natively I would callResource resource = request.getResource(); request.getRequestDispatcher(resource.getPath() + ".html", new RequestDispatcherOptions()).forward(request, response);            However, since they both listen on the same path and servlet just keeps executing itself I get Recursion too deep exception...To solve this have used approach with ServletResolver service:final Servlet servlet = servletResolver.resolveServlet(request.getResource(), "/apps/indexing/compon

I developed a basic project as an OSGI bundle. I tested it by installing it using http://localhost:4502/system/console/bundles. The bundle shows as active.Then I switch to http://localhost:4502/system/console/services and the services of the bundle show.Later after doing some development, my bundle installs and shows as active. But its methods no longer appears in the services interface. And they cannot be accessed using  sling.getService.What can cause this and how does one go about testing to see what caused it to stop being a service.

If I have a bundle imported into AEM using http://localhost:4502/system/console/bundles and I do not have any Interfaces exposed as Services but my bundle is active and has the package with my class in the export packages. The examples I have come across in the documentation use something like the below example com.adobe.cq.KeyService keyService = sling.getService(com.adobe.cq.KeyService.class); However if the KeyService interface is not listed with a service id then when it is called a null pointer exception is raised.  Can one gain access to a class in the JSP if it is not shown with a service id. In my case I have implemented my interface and use @Component and @Service on the implementation class but it does not show any service id in the Web Console screen.

Hi,Is there a way to make code similar to what follows transactional:UserManager userManager = ...; //  org.apache.jackrabbit.api.security.user.UserManager userManager.createUser(...); userManager.createGroup(...); updateGroupService.updateGroup(...) // org.apache.sling.jackrabbit.usermanager.UpdateGroup AccessControlUtil.replaceAccessControlEntry(...) JcrResourceUtil.createPath(...) JcrUtil.copy(...)Basically:We create a user,A group,Assign the user to the group,Add permissions to the group,Create a folder (e.g. /content/foo/bar/baz)Copy some content from some folder in JCR to /content/foo/bar/bazAt the moment one or more of ceateUser, createGroup, updateGroup, replaceAccessControlEntry commit their changes even before explicitly calling save() on the current request's session.

Hi, In the damadmin, on the right hand pane, if you add the title column, it's editable. How can i make this readOnly? I've tried setting readOnly=true / disabled=true as property for the 'title' gridcolumn -> /apps/wcm/core/content/damadmin/grid/assets/columns/title to override /libs/wcm/core/content/damadmin/grid/assets/columns/title. No luck.
