We are trying to setup SAML on AEM 5.6.1 for one of our client. We are facing an issue while using the private key. We have generated the private key using OpenSSO using the below commands.openssl genrsa -out SP-server.pem 2048openssl rsa -in SP-server.pem -pubout > SP-public-server.pemopenssl req -new -key SP-server.pem -out SP-server.csropenssl x509 -req -days 365 -in SP-server.csr -signkey SP-server.pem -out SP-server.crtopenssl pkcs8 -topk8 -inform PEM -outform DER -in SP-server.pem -nocrypt > SP-server.PKCS8.keyI have uploaded the key using CURL .But when I access the path set to the SAML auth I am getting the below error. CURL:C:\curl -u admin:admin -F private=\<sp.pem -F private@TypeHint=Binary http://localhost:4502/etc/key/samltesting/test1.html HTTP/1.1] org.apache.sling.auth.core.impl.SlingAuthenticator getAnonymousResolver: Anonymous access not allowed by configuration - requesting credentials 26.02.2015 14:14:35.455 *INFO* [74.202.85.210 [1424978075454] GET /conten

Tried replacing occurence in #1 with this WHERE(ISDESCENDANTNODE(page, '/content/abcd') or ISDESCENDANTNODE(page, '/content/efgh')), but it is not working.Any pointers will be helpful.

Trying to get an understanding of what process is handling the moving of pages when doing a bulk move. We notice a lot of OAK merges in our error log, related "the node X was changed in revision Y which was applied after the base revision". I'd like to check the log files for these errors. We used to bulk move in our staging environment before and never saw these issues. We're now running MongoMK SP2 + hotfix 5779. Could this be related to the SP2 upgrade? Also would it be fair to assume that in MongoMK this is more likely to happen than in TarMK? Or should it be absolutely unrelated? Thanks,Katrien

I just read this articles about OSGI bundles etc.http://adobeaemclub.com/osgi-configuration-management-aem/Pretty well done. But I have a more 'basic' question, what if I want to paakcge ONLY configurations parameters for given 'ootb' (Out of the box) bundles and have that easily distributable across many systems.Ex:I setup multiple run modes for dev.authoring, prod.authoring, dev.publishing and I want all my dev system to have the dev setup for LDAP. I haven't seen a way I can configure the bundle through CRXDE-llite and then 'create a bundle' from the ui / curls etc that I Can then package as part of all my other installations.Admin course I took clearly explained this was a best practice but I haven't seen this in action.Any help / pointers to sites / docs would be appreciated.Thanks.

Hi all. a weird problem recent popped up that affects all of our pages. When an author tries to edit a component dialog, every dialog pops open. Otherwise the parsys and components just aren't working properly. One does not get the green outline when hovering over a component. Instead the entire parsys container is highlighted. We cannot delete them individually either, only the one at the bottom is deleted upon refresh. We are using /wcm/foundation/components/parsys  Recently installed SP2, and I'm wondering if this could be related ...  [img]Screen Shot 2015-03-04 at 8.31.37 PM.png

Hi,I want to add a new language 'Ilocano' to AEM6. This language doesn't have a ISO-639-1 code and has a ISO-639-2 code 'Ilo'. As per this page http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/administer/sites/languages.html AEM supports two-letter code as defined by ISO-639-1. Is it still possible to have this language added ?Thanks in advance

what is the difference between dependecies and  propertieembeds in cq:ClientLibraryFolder . dependencies: This is a list of other client library categories on which this library folder depends. For example, given two cq:ClientLibraryFolder nodes F and G, if a file in F requires another file in G in order to function properly, then at least one of the categories of G should be among the dependencies of F.embed: ThanksSamb

I've created a custom template which uses a custom component to insert an image into a dps article.I want to use this component through a workflow which renders an article for each image in the DAM. I want to make the "img source=" a variable where I can pass the name of each image that it refers to.I.E: <img src="/content/dam/images/my"+imagevariable>What options do I have and what would be the best approach here?Did some reading and came across using Slightly request? I was thinking of putting the name of the image in a property which I can pull out and change for each image within the component. Thanks,Ram

Hi All,We are using AEM 5.6.1, and wondering if there is a way to set permissions via Tags.  For instance, we may have assets stored in the DAM and tagged according to region (US, FR, DE, IT, etc.)  Is there some way we can set permissions so that a User can Modify assets that are tagged with "DE"?If this isn't possible in 5.6.1, is it in 6.0?Thank you for any suggestions or help you can provide!

I'm trying to use S3 as the customBlobStore on a fresh install of AEM (run modes author,crx3,crx3tar) with mixed results.Setting customBlobStore to true in install/org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.plugins.segment.SegmentNodeStoreService.cfg, then connection information/credentials in install/org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.plugins.blob.datastore.S3DataStore.cfg (as well as the appropriate files from featurepack-4137) seems to work as a lot of files are created in the S3 bucket I've pointed AEM to. The login page is only partially styled, and the background image doesn't load. After logging in, the page isn't styled at all. There are a few repeated errors, with a small sample in the attached log file.Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Hi,I want to add few custom metadata field for the video files. Followed DAM documentation and created folder structure as 'apps/dam/content/asseteditors/video/formitems' but it is not accessing this folder, it is accessing 'apps/dam/content/asseteditors/formitems'.Any suggestions??Thanks,Kranthi

Hi,I'm having a bit of a problem importing a bundle and associated run mode config via vault in our prod environment (rightly of wrongly, but it works this way in other environments). Everything is deployed correctly under /apps (bundle jar is in /apps/<name>/install), but the bundle isn't present in the bundle list and there is nothing to suggest problems int he logs.Looking at the components tab in the system console, there are a number of components with an ID of -1, including org.apache.sling.installer.provider.jcr.impl.JcrInstaller  which is probably the root of my problem. Looking at the config entry for this it seems to be configured fine. The entry from the Declarative Services Components is as follows:-1=[org.apache.sling.installer.provider.jcr.impl.JcrInstaller]  Bundleorg.apache.sling.installer.provider.jcr (5)  State=disabled  DefaultState=enabled  Activation=immediate  Reference=repository, Unsatisfied    Service Name: org.apache.sling.jcr.api.SlingRepository    Mult
