Hi guys,This is my first post here!Well, I want to know something about the Session Timeout on the Day CQSE HTTP Service. Is it possible to handle the exception that is thrown knowing that it is actually a Session Timeout Exception? I mean, on the controller part of the system (I use Java Spring), the exception I got is a NullPointerException after the timeout minutes has passed, and at this point the session is already reseted, making not possible to inform the user that his session has timed out, but only that "An error ocurred".Thanks a lot, Fernando Nygaard

Hello,Is there an equivalent granite ui type for Rich Text Editor(ExtJS xtype: richtext)? We are using Ext js xtype richtext and custom plugins in one of the component dialog. When i try to implement the same in Granite UI(touch UI), could not find the equivalent type. I am aware of OOTB text component which has few features of RTE but my requirement is to be able to have the custom plug ins for RTE.Any inputs on this will be greatly helpful. Thanks in advance. Regards,Srikanth Pogula

Hi,Need help for customizing request.log and access.log files for CQ 5.6.1. I need to add Session ID attribute to the log files for some monitoring purpose. Read the documentation for CQ 5.6.1 and its mentioned that customizing these 2 files is possible. But didn't find any details or examples of how to achieve that. Can you please let me know about this?

Load testing has revealed an issue of responses seemingly being mixed up.  Due to the proprietary nature of our projects, I cannot disclose any of our source code, but I can say that the responses being mixed are from completely different platforms that we have build on AEM.  These different platforms do not share any code/servlets/filters/etc aside from what AEM provides out of the box.Is there a known issue with AEM 5.6.1 that might explain this?

I am working on AEM 6.0 SP2.I have a component which includes other components. I need to refresh the page on edit of any of the components. I have CQ:LISTENERS configured as REFRESH_PAGE for afteredit event for parent as well as all child components. Refresh page works fine on classic UI but not working for Touch UI. Is there any other way to refresh page for nested components in touch UI?

Where can I found the AEM6.1 resource code ？like this servlet : com.day.cq.replication.impl.servlets.CommandServlet  :  Which jar bag is he in? I want to overwrite this servlet, but I don't know how to do it.if anyone knows

I have several components that are "span" type components. When a author drags them onto a page, the system creates a "div" around those components making them "block".Is there any way to prevent AEM from automatically creating the surrounding DIV. It is extra markup that is not needed. The component is built using Sightly and Java Use.This is using AEM 6.1 and the Touch UI. I am not able to use "data-sly-unwrap" as the div is not part of the sightly, yet I don't want it to render.Expected Code<a href="#" class="class-name">Label of Button</a>Output Code<div class="name-of-component"> <a href="#" class="class-name">Label of Button</a> </div>Thanks.

I have website that is https protocol. Now i need to embedded an iframe in a cq page the 3 party url supports only  http. So the page does not render as it is mixed content. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3144986/http-and-https-iframe  Could some one suggest as what could be the best approach i could take Thanks

Hi, can you help me understand the expected behaviour of the authoring widget html5smartfile?When I use this widget in an authoring dialogue and drop an image from the content finder onto the drag and drop area, it shows the file name in the editable text field for this component, e.g. 'MyImage.png'.  The widget also has a 'Referenced from: ' label.  This label now shows, 'MyImage.png'.  I expected this field to show the full path to the file's location in the content finder, e.g. '/content/dam/mysite/images/MyImage.png'.  If I delete the file name from the editable text field, click Ok on the authoring dialog and then re-open the authoring dialog the full path to the file in the dam is then shown in the 'Referenced from: ' label (and the text field still shows as empty). What should the 'Referenced from: ' label show, once a file has been selected and how is it meant to work?

Hi,How does the ecommerce add-on handles caching related to price. As I read on documentation price is a kind of information that is always retrieved from the PIM. So, how does that works with dispatcher? there is no cache on products page? Thanks,

Hi,We have a content bundle in our project and quite a few of our project's JSP files are using /lib/foundation/global.jsp. However it is not resovled by the IDE, and hence "<%@include file="/libs/foundation/global.jsp"%>" is marked as error as well as all references to properties, currentStyle, etc.Is there a way to make it known to the IDEA?Thanks.

Hey there , I'm new to CQ and playing around with forms .  I have a html form (not cq form) where i am posting to a custom servlet which creates properties on a specific node in jcr  and also saves the values to a .txt file  based on some custom logic  .After successful post ,  i want to return to the same form page with saved values reloaded on the form ? Normally my requirement is  , only to write to a .txt file on post , but since i have to show the saved values to user reloaded in a form I'm also saving to node so that they can be easily retrieved when compared to parsing the text file .What would the best way to achieve it ?  Thanks in advance for your pointers and tips .

Hi,what would be the best way to execute custom servlet /service once a page property is added or modified? For example , if author opens up page properties from side kick - advanced- update or add new design path, I want to execute my custom service. One way which I read through some of the posts is to use jcr observation listeners, but some recommend not to as they might create problems in multi cluster environment.would using a sling post processors right way to archive it? Any examples of using it? Or any other easy approaches?  Th  thanks in ad
