Hi,I wanna cache publish requests and responses. I did changes in dispatcher.any for publish instance.After restarting the apache webserver for the first request am getting Geometrix welcome page but for the second request amgetting html page.Ex:<!DOCTYPE HTML> <html> <head> <meta charset="utf-8" /> <title>Geometrixx Outdoors</title> <link rel="canonical" href="http://192.168.5.109/content/geometrixx-outdoors/en.html"/> <link rel="shortcut icon" href="https://forums.adobe.com/etc/designs/geometrixx-outdoors/favicon.ico"/> <script> document.documentElement.className+=' js'; /*@cc_on(function(){var e=['abbr','article','aside','audio','canvas','details','figcaption','figure','footer','header','hgroup','mark','meter','nav','output','progress','section','summary','time','video'];for (var i = e.length; i-- > 0;) document.createElement(e[i]);})();@*/ </script> <script type="text/javascript" src="/etc/clientlibs/granite/jquery.j

So, I'm encountering a weird problem with CQ5. One of the custom xtypes that I've created is correctly writing data to, but not pulling back saved data from, the repository. Just to be super clear, when I say pulling back saved data from, I mean when I refresh the page and then open the dialog again, all of the dialog fields for my xtype are blank. I can post the full code I'm working with if necessary but basically the custom xtype works in this way://pseudo code getValue() { return field1.getValue() + "|" + field2.getValue() + "|"+ field3.getValue() } setValue(value) { var splitArray = value.split("|"); field1.setValue(splitArray[0]) //etc } updateHidden() { this.hiddenField.setValue(this.getValue()) }and then the hiddenField has this.name as its name so it stores/retrieves from the repository. This works fine for storing the data in the repository. But it doesn't retrieve it back properly when I reopen the dialog after page refresh. What's bizarre is that the custom xtype DOES work

In the cq/xssprotection/config.xml I set the tag-rule for an anchor as "filter" or "remove" because we don't want to allow our content editors to insert links. From every input field we run the xssAPI.filterHTML() method. However, when set this way, the xssAPI.getValidHref() method that we use for authorized links always returns empty. This allows getValidHref to work but allows links in unauthorized fields:<tag name="a" action="validate">            <attribute name="href"/>            </tag> This filters out unauthorized links, but doesn't allow getValidHref() to work:<tag name="a" action="filter" /> or <tag name="a" action="remove" /> I'm looking to filter out anchor tags from almost all inputs, while at the same time, allow only valid paths for path selector inputs.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,The task is to validate each textfield found in the multifield,<urls jcr:primaryType="cq:Widget" fieldDescription="Click the '+' to add a multiple urls.." fieldLabel="Urls  (Without etxn.)" name="./Urls" xtype="multifield"> <url jcr:primaryType="cq:Widget" fieldLabel="Url" width="155" validator="function(validateValue) { console.log(validateValue); return 'Would expect this check to be invoked';}" xtype="textfield"/> </urls>Currently it does not seem to validate the textfield, is there a work around that would get it running through the validator ? Thanks,Peter

Is there a way to disable the use of weak cyphers while configuring HTTPS in AEM?

Hi All,I'm trying to integrate Test&Target into AEM version 5.6.1 And even though there is some documentation available I fail to make it to work. What Im trying to do is I want to add "A-B Testing Banner" that will show one image to 50% of the visitors and another image to the other 50%.Following are the steps I took to get it to work but still got the first image shown to everyone.Add T&T to Cloud Service.Go to Websites -> MySite and add Cloud Service created in step 1.Go to Tools -> Segmentation and add new segment "50% Segment" - identical to 50% segment in GeometrixxGo to MCMAdmin and create a Brand and CampaignAdd an Image to myHomepageRight-click the image -> select Target. In overlay select Campaign created in step 4. Then Click on "+" and add "50% segment" created in step 3.Change the Image for "50% segment"Go To SiteAdmin and Activate the site then check publish node - only default image is displayed no matter how many times I refresh the browser or use anothe

Hello,Is there a way to pick up nodes of specific resource types eg:foundation/components/text and test/components/textCustom, under a specific path, /content/Test/en_US, and retrieve the ones modified in past 2 days? Please let me know.Regards,NZ

Hello,I am using CQ 5.6.1. I want my content authors to be able to create workflow.I have added the group 'workflow-editors' to the groups of the 'Authors' group, so now I can see permissions have been added on '/etc/workflows'.But unfortunately this still does not allow members of the 'Authors' group to create a workflow. When adding a new workflow model, a popup appears: 'Could not generate workflow model'. In the logs I see the following Exception:Context com.adobe.granite.workflow.console.servlet.ModelGenerateServlet: Could not create workflow model java.lang.IllegalStateException: Can't overwrite cause        at java.lang.Throwable.initCause(Throwable.java:456)        at org.apache.sling.api.SlingException.<init>(SlingException.java:73)        at com.adobe.granite.workflow.console.servlet.ServletUtil.getAuthorizable(ServletUtil.java:83)        at com.adobe.granite.workflow.console.servlet.ModelGenerateServlet$ContentVisitor.copyMetaData(ModelGenerateServlet.java:405)        a

I have done till the step of installing FFMPEG and i have verified it in tools->DAM->videoprofile.but the video is still not displayed in the page. the below error message is displayed when the page gets loaded"We are unable to connect to the content you've requested. We apologize for the inconvenience"

How to get siblings? For example somethig like node.getNextSibling() or node.getPreviousSiblings()? I cannot find in APIWhy I need it. After the live copy creation the node order is wrong in the live copy. I mean the node order is different in the live copy and in the blueprint. There is an orderChildren sync action in the default rollout configuration. But... Unfortunately orderChildren does not helpThanks

I want to query the components and sort the result by the index which like in CRXDE.But I got the results sorted by the "lastModified" property. In source code, I didn't put the "orderby" property in the query map.queryMap.put("path", pagePath); queryMap.put("type", "cq:Page"); queryMap.put("1_property", "jcr:content/cq:template"); queryMap.put("1_property.1_value", OfferUtil.OFFERS26_TEMPLATE); queryMap.put("1_property.2_value", OfferUtil.OFFERS8_TEMPLATE); queryMap.put("2_property", "jcr:content/redirectTarget"); queryMap.put("2_property.operation", JcrPropertyPredicateEvaluator.OP_NOT); queryMap.put("orderby","whichProperty"); // set to get all Offers. queryMap.put("p.offset", "0"); queryMap.put("p.limit", "0");And I want to know which property can be filled in the map that the result can sorted by the index.like "index", "order" etc.

Good morning,I have a requirement to manage the attributes shown in the dialog by checkboxes in the design dialog, is this possible?Thank you.

I was reading through this post: http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/aem-how-tos/development/how-to-build-aem-projects-using-apache-maven.html, particularly focusing on the part concerning compiling JSPs as part of a Maven build. I've successfully implemented that, but I'm interested in actually deploying the compiled JSPs to my instance. The article teases that this is possible with the following line: "The result of the Maven JspC Plugin can also be bundled and deployed as part of an OSGi Bundle, but this has other implications and side effects and goes beyond our goal of validating the JSPs." However, I can't find any further information on this. I tried simply taking the compiled JSPs and deploying them to the directory /var/classes/org/apache/jsp/<app_name>, but that just results in ClassNotFoundExceptions being thrown. Digging through the Sling source code I expect the issue is that even though the .class files are present they aren't being registered with a ClassLoader. For some

Hi,I have installed cq-5.6.1-hotfix-3421.zip in my local box. After installing am unable to get the login console and complete instance not working.Let me know that i need to follow any steps before i install the hotfix. Thanks Mahesh

Hi,I want to use query builder to search the siblings of a page node in CQ. For this what i am doing is to get the parent of the page, then use that in the path attribute of the predicate and run the search. But this search is not only returning me the siblings of the page but it is also returning me the child page nodes of the siblings. I tried using p.nodedepth but that did not help. Can you suggest me how I can achieve this? Let me give an example:Lets us assume this is my node structure: a    1, 2, 3b    1,2,3c    1,2,3 Here a, b, c are siblings and 1,2,3 are children of the siblings. I should not get the children in the results and I should get only a,b and c in the result. This is the predicate i use:path=/content/B2B_HC/en_US/specialties-catalog/type=cq:Pagep.hits=fullp.nodedepth=1 Is there something wrong here?Regards,Yadhu

We are on CQ 5.4Published domain includes CQURL information embedded in every Webpage. This would be an example:<script type="text/javascript">CQURLInfo = {    "contextPath": null,    "requestPath": '/content/cadillac/north-america/usa/mobilesite/en/home/faq',    "selectorString": null,    "selectors": [],    "extension": 'html',    "suffix": null};</script>I am trying to understand where/how to control this data - especially 'requestPath' information.

Is it possible to change the version of LESS CQ uses?  I have read in certain places that it isn't but was wondering if anybody has figured out a workaround for this?  Currently I can't get Twitter Bootstrap 3.0 in LESS to compile with the version of LESS used in CQ.

We have full text search working as expected with the following (as described here: http://helpx.adobe.com/adobe-cq/using/using-query-builder-api.html):map.put("group.1_fulltext", fulltextSearchTerm);map.put("group.1_fulltext.relPath", "jcr:content");This is a full-text predicate which corresponds to the jcr:contains() function in XPath, but I cannot find other predicate options. For example, how do we perform a substring search?

In adobe AEM (aka cq), for a given url is it possible to see what jsp's are being invoked? We've got example code, not written by us where 2 sets of 'base' jsp are being matched if a specific selector is present or not - 'm' for mobile. In the base jsp a variable is then set to flag if a mobile or desktop device is requesting. From then on no further selectors are used - just checks on the variable to specifically include mobile specific jsp or not.A different approach from solely using selectors to invoke specific jsp or not.By having the script resolution traced it helps visualise and debuts, but is this a common pattern for sling based code?

If i recall correctly heap dump was dumping JVM heap dump based on time interval and threshold in CQ 5.5 but 5.6.1 does not seems to behave correctly or may be it's dust on my mind :).Any thought how to get automatic heap dump working..... not sure interval is in millisecond?  Thrash hold value never get persisted in text field. Does automatic really works? manual heap dump clicking on button make sense and it works. Thanks Chandra

I am working in CQ5 blog pages. The JSP's under collab/blog all say that  "DEPRECATED since CQ 5.6.  Use /libs/social/blog/ directly"What difference will it make if I still wanna go ahead with the collab/blog pages instead of the newer social/blog ?What are the underlying features that differ in these two Blog systems ?

Has anybody tried configuring CQ5.6.1 with Logback which provides obvious benefits over Log4J. SL4J provides inbuilt support for logback and CQ5.6.1 logging is based on SL4J, so I guess it should be achievable. Also there are certain use cases where-in we need to provide unique request ID to all the loggers which are serving that request. To achieve this, I was thinking over to use MDC in a request filter and then changing default log format to include this in every log statement. At the same time I don't want to change any log statement which I have in all the existing java classes but want to do it by updating the default log format. Did anybody do something like this? If yes, please let me know how?

Hi all,We have implemented a custom component for search which uses the QueryBuilder to do the search. When we check for basic contents for example a property value as a keythen the search works fine. However if the property has some <html> tags in the property value, then we get error in the excerption. For example consider a page which uses the RTE for authoring contents, the values that gets stored in the property would be html, with all <p> & <a> tags. When I do search, with a key "super", it returns the page in the result, even if the key exist in the attribute of any html tag.<a href="https://forums.adobe.com/content/something/-super-.html">sometext</a>Is there a way to restrict the querybuilder searching for <html> tags and its attributes. Thanks in advance.Regards,Lingesh P.
