I've configured Sling mapping in publish instance and its working fine. { "jcr:primaryType": "sling:OrderedFolder", "home": { "sling:internalRedirect": "/content/geometrixx/en.html", "sling:match": "localhost.4503/$", "jcr:primaryType": "sling:Mapping", }, "localhost.4503": { "sling:internalRedirect": "/content/geometrixx/en", "jcr:primaryType": "sling:Mapping", "redirect": { "sling:internalRedirect": [ "/content/geometrixx/en/$1", "/$1" ], "sling:match": "(.+)$", "jcr:primaryType": "sling:Mapping", } } }I'm trying to access through dispatcher. I'm using Apache 2.0 on windows 7, CQ5.6.0. My httpd.conf looks like below - <IfModule disp_apache2.c> DispatcherConfig conf/dispatcher.any DispatcherLog    logs/dispatcher.log DispatcherLogLevel 3 DispatcherNoServerHeader 0 DispatcherDeclineRoot 0 DispatcherUseProcessedURL 0 DispatcherPassError 0 </IfModule> <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName localhost DocumentRoot "C:/Apache2/htdocs/content/sitea" RewriteEngine On RewriteRule ^/$

Hi,I am using QueryBuilder to execute a search operation for all the cq:Page under a path. There are two custom date properties that are being set through page properties :displayStartDate and displayEndDate. All the pages for which displayStartDate <= current Date and time and displayEndDate>= current date and time should be the outcome of the search operation. I have gone through the DateRangePredicateEvaluator for this and it looks to be the solution for me. However, I am not able to make out how to use two daterange predicates in the code.type=cq:Page path=/content/mercer/global/all/en/webcasts/2014 1_daterange.property=@jcr:content/displayStartDate2_daterange.property=@jcr:content/displayEndDateand then :a) How do I set the upperOperation(<=) and lowerOperation(>=). b) In what format the current date and time should be put in.c) I also learned that there is a field called TIME_ZONE. Any insight on how to use this is also appreciated. Thanks in advance,Ankit

Hi,I'm building a query to search result in multiple path with multiple properties. fulltext=testgroup.p.or=truegroup.1_group.path=/content/myprojectgroup.1_group.type=cq:Pagegroup.2_group.path=/content/dam/myprjectgroup.2_group.type=dam:Assetdaterange.p.or=truedaterange.1_property=jcr:content/jcr:createddaterange.2_property=jcr:content/jcr:lastModifieddaterange.upperBound=2014-01-20T11:56:04.546+08:00I want to search items in 2 path and have same date range on different properties. With above query, i got below error message:Internal Server ErrorCannot serve request to /WC2/bin/querybuilder.json in com.day.cq.search.impl.servlets.QueryBuilderJsonServletException:java.lang.NullPointerException at com.day.cq.search.eval.XPath.getPropertyPath(XPath.java:57) at com.day.cq.search.eval.RangePropertyPredicateEvaluator.getXPathExpression(RangePropertyPredicateEvaluator.java:97) at com.day.cq.search.eval.DateRangePredicateEvaluator.getXPathExpression(DateRangePredicateEvaluator.java:68) at com

QueryBuilder does not return relevant results. I am expecting all assets whose title has search keyword to come up first. I have tried type=dam:Assetgroup.p.or=truegroup.1_fulltext=xxxxxxgroup.1_fulltext.relPath=jcr:content/*/@dc:title but this returns assets which has keyword in their title but not all assets which has keyword in their description.

hi all,is there a configuration or log setting that allows to log whenever a user enters invalid credentials?I am invoking the j_security_check mechanism, it seems that these requests are handeled outside of Sling so I cannot write a Filter.I know that I could create a custom Login Module to do this, but I think there should be an easier option...thanks for any help,Ben

Would it be possible to make tagging namespace available to SiteA but not for SiteB?  I know I can restrict hide tagging based on ACL, but I would like to hide the tagging tab based on the site I am on.Thanks in advance!

Hi all,Having those cq5 trials and tribulations over the last couple of days and would appreciated some help in regards to a problem I have. I must say I'm pretty new to CQ5 but have read through the documentation. I am using version 5.2. Requirement:Content editors can edit a field of text from the WCM.Page is rendered as json, with no HTML markup displaying that piece of text.Currently, I have it set up so I have a standard page setup editable by the WCM, with a seperate JSP (json.jsp) in the component (that the page is based on) which is called by:/content/test/page.json.htmlThis is fine when displaying children of the current content. I can get the current node, it's children and some properties. However, I cannot see things under a par-sys element in the jcr:content for that page. Another thing making this a bit tricky is that when I load this page in the WCM (the JSON page), I get a loading image in the tools menu, so cannot customise content, therefore having to use a main page

Hi,is there anyone out there that has created a AEM or CQ environment using Puppet? Is it anything that could be of interest for the community so that we had an easy to deploy development and test environment? If anyone has done it, please contact me. If anyone else is interested in it, please contact me also and I will "open source" what I create./Ove

What are the potential pitfalls for building a knowledge base or FAQ section using CQ5?I'm doing some work for a UK based company and they currently have Oracle Right Now as a customer experience platform.  This is used to deliver the knowledgebase and it seems to have a whole lot of smarts that understand what customers are looking for, and surfaces the right knowledge at the right time.I wondered how feasible it would be to build something similar in CQ5, or would it make more sense for the company to stick with the proven solution?Interested to hear your thoughts. Thanks and Regards,Felicity.

Hi,Say we have pageA in our author instance with components 1,2 and 3.  We activate pageA and in our publish instance, we see pageA with components 1,2 and 3.We remove component 2 from pageA in author, activate and see the updated pageA in publish with components 1 and 3.We added component 4,5 and removed 1 from pageA in author.  We activate and now we see components 4 and 5 on pageA in publish.  However, pageA in publish has component 1. We dont' really know what happened but both pages are now different.  How do we debug this?  How can we update pageA in the publish instance so that it is the same as pageA in author? Please advise.Thank You.

When minifying javascript using the Day CQ HTML Library Manager in the Apache Felix console, how can I change the library used for compressing? The default is the YUI compressor library, which has long since been deprecated (http://www.yuiblog.com/blog/2012/10/16/state-of-yui-compressor/) and does not have the minification ability of other more modern compressors such as Uglify.js.What would be the best approach for setting up CQ to use Uglify.js as the compressor library in the same fashion that it currently uses YUI compressor?

I read up entire doc and couldn't figure out how to get contextual help added to dialog box. E.g. ? right next to a field in dialog box for useful information. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The content author team created few pages which we need to port from one CQ instance to another. I opened up package manager on source and added all of 30 pages as individual filter and build / download. On target instance, opened package manager and uploaded the ZIp and installed. When i verified few pages within target instance, thee component/content does not copied over completely. What could be the reason? Any suggestions or pointers are welcome.

Hi,I have requirement where I need to call a javascript function inside "href" of anchor tag in RTE. But, whenever I do this, the entire anchor tag vanishes on clicking OK. I suppose this is a CQ5 RTE out of the box feature. Can anyone suggest a way to overcome this ?Thanks in advance :)Subhra
