We have a client using out-of-the-box Social Collaboration features for a blog. We've noticed that when using the "Categories" and "Archives" components on a blog entry (e.g. on any page for which com.adobe.cq.social.blog.Blog.isEntry() would return true), the output of those components is blank. This is masked in the sample template since blog entries do not display the right-hand column where these components would show up, but this is a very limiting problem in terms of the typical layouts that might be used for a blog page.We were wondering if this would be considered a bug or just a limitation in these components? And what likelihood that this bug (or feature) will be addressed in future releases of the Social Collaboration components? Thanks...- Keith

ISSUE:The workflow we require is a multi-approval workflow which means once the author create the content it gets reviewed and approved by 2 roles (First by a Brand Manager and then finally by a Brand Director). The workflow works as expected if both Brand Manager and the Brand Director approves the content in the first go. However in a specific case where the Brand director is rejecting the content the 2nd iteration breaks. Below is the flow which is breaking (Steps to reproduce):Editor create the content and send it to Brand Manager for approval. (Use any geometrixx page. Put it in the workflow and from the inbox assign it to manager.)Brand Manager approves it and send it to Brand Director for the final review.Brand Director rejects the content. (For the rejection process we are using a custom process. The source code for the same is in the attached bundle. We tried using the go to step available with 5.6.1 but it doesn't seems to work.)The content is now back with the editor with th

Hi ,I have a requirement to update the client library url with uniqueID if there is an update in the file. Also the URL for file should be consistent through all the publish instances to control the caching of libraries on AKAMAIFor example:Base.css file url in author should be like this : /etc/designs/myproject/base.8aff76f8da9c7419c296fa68db664c.css<8aff76f8da9c7419c296fa68db664c> : this is a unique id which we generate by using  MessageDigest unique key . In author mode i am getting all the css and js file with correct final url and the unique id is appended in the URL of file but when i replicated the package and design to publish instance then all the libraries appended with the same id in the URL.The functionality is working fine on author instance but not able to figure out the reason of this behavior in publish mode.Could any one please suggest what would be the reason for this behavior? Also please suggest if there is any other better approach to achieve this requirement

Hi, Does anyone have a working example of the http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/5-3/widgets-api/index.html?class=CQ.Ext.grid.EditorGridPanel editorgrid xtyp AC

Im creating a custom xtype and Im running into an issue where I cant seem to pull the jcr property and set the default value to the jcr property value each time the page refreshes.  So for example, if I set the defaultValue to Option A and the user select Option B, Option B will be set as the default but once the user refreshes the page, the defaultValue returns to Option A and not Option B. Is there a way where I can set the defaultValue to Option B or in other words to what the user selects?   this.optionsField = new CQ.form.Selection({      type:'select',      hideLabel: true,      defaultValue: 'p',      value: 'p',      fieldDescription: 'Select header tags in semantic order. If no header tag is needed indicate “p”',      options : [        {          value: 'p',          text: 'p'        },        {          value: 'h1',          text: 'h1'        },        {          value: 'h2',          text: 'h2'        }      ],      listeners: {        selectionchanged: {          scope: th

Hello, I am working on a proof of concept to integrate Adobe AEM 5.6 with SSO using SAML. I followed the demonstration documentation located here: http://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/kb/saml-demo.html. This document shows the following entry in metata/adobecq.xml<md:AssertionConsumerService Binding="urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:bindings:HTTP-POST" Location="http://localhost:6502/saml_login" index="1"/>When accessing AEM I am prompted to enter credentials by the IdP and after successfully authenticating it attempts to redirect me back to this http://localhost:6502/saml_login which is not available. It does not appear that anything AEM is listening on port 6502. Is there some service that needs to be enabled that is not enabled?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We need to handle Dynamic URL to generate XML based on users request. URL: localhost:4502/feed/[search-term].xmlEx: localhost:4502/feed/webinar.xmlIt should return an xml, which will be generated by system based on search-term mentioned in the URL.How can we handle such request? I've tried using servlet but it seems sling servlet doesn't support wildcards in the sling.servlet.paths.Thanks,Punit Jindal

Hello everyone! I’m using a DIALOG PARTICIPANT STEP in a workflow I’m implementing in CQ 5.6.1.The Dialog consists in various checkboxes and the executor of the step will select some or none, depending on the situation. After the DIALOG STEP, there’s NO OPERATION STEP and then an OR SPLIT. In the script of this OR SPLIT I’d like to retrieve the data from the Dialog and use it for the logic implementation. I’ve tried the two approaches listed in the Workflow Step Reference (http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/workflows/wf-ref.html#Dialog Participant Step):       Storing data in the Workitem: the data of this dialog was stored in some variables in the workflow metadata. The path I found them was: /etc/workflow/instances/<date>/<model>/<history>/xxx/propertyname I’ve tried several ways of accessing their values through the OR SPLIT script but I didn’t succeeded.       Storing data in the Payload: the data of this dialog was stored in some variables in the payload metadat

Hi all ,We are facing this issue in RTE styles plugin. As per our requirement ,we need to have a lot of styles in our styles plugin dropdown. Many of which are buttons with varying sizes. In firefox, the styles dropdown is displaying the real time styles which will  get applied to the selected text. This results in styles dropdown being extended and all the styles are not accesible by mouse. However they are keyboard accesible. Please see if any one knows how to fix this as this is impacting us a lot and has been raised as a defect. Note-we are facing this issue only in firefox-ie and chrome are working fine.RegardsRashi

Is it configurable change for pointing AEM search to Hybris lucene for products search or any build effort required? Is there any performance issue if we load the parts in to AEM? Currently some 45 thousand is there it may go to 100 in future. Hello Everyone,While sending an event using EventAdmin I am getting the following Error:The constructor Event(String, Map<String,?>) is ambiguousThe code I have written is:String eventData = request.getParameter("eData");Hashtable props = new Hashtable();props.put("eventData",eventData);Event evt = new Event("/com/adobe/sample/test", props);evtAdmin.sendEvent(evt); Adobe CQ Version: 5.6How can I resolve this issue of creating an Event Object to send an event.------------I have another question regarding Jobs. I'm seeing lots of confusion around the Hybris packages for setting up the geometrixx outdoors AEM/Hybris demo and would like to try and figure out the correct packages to get things up and running. The documentation (http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/ecommerce/eCommerce-hybris.html) says that cq-hybris-update-content-5.6.200, and cq-geometrixx-hybris-content-5.6.200 are needed and can be downloaded via the daycare portal, those specific packages aren't available in the package share. I've looked in the daycare portal downloads section but can't find the packages. The documentation seems to be specifically setup for those packages and a separate Hybris server. I have a separate Hybris server up and running, but can't get things going on the AEM side despite trying out various package combinations. Can anyone point me where I can find the packages, or perhaps point me to an older version of the documentation that written for the 5.6100 packages available on the package share. Thanks
