Solved

We have a 3rd party security scanner tool that crawls our site.  They are filtered out of our data set using our bot rules.  However, we are still billed for all of the server calls even though the traffic is flagged as a bot.  Is there anyway to turn off the image request so we will not be billed for the server calls it generates?

Our site has a traffic peak Sep-Nov so I searched the referring domains report and external campaign report to find the reason, but external campaign report has such a big gap in page views and visits  with the referring domains report, and one of our most referral site has not appeared in the referring domains report, but it jumpID appeared only in external campaign report; I don;t know why cause this...and another question is the total visits number is much more than the daily visits, for example we got 8000 visits in Sep-Nov by adding daily visits, but in SiteCatalyst, the total visits up to 300,000; what’s the difference between Visits and the total visits number appeared in SiteCatalyst, and why they have such a big gap?Thank you so much for your kindly help:) Merry Christmas and Happy new year!!

When I'm using Ad Hoc Analysis, I try to create a ranked report with different segments as the rows and metrics across the columns.  I am able to view the table like I'd expect, however the sort feature seems to disappear.  If I put dates (day, week, month, etc) or other dimensions in the row the sort feature is there. I attached two different screen shots to see the missing sort arrows. Does anyone else have this issue? Thanks!

Hi,I'm wondering if there is a way, in Ad Hoc Analysis, to compare a metric between 2 periods.I'd like a report for example that would give me yesterday visits, with the comparison in % with D-7.Thanks for your help

I have a few queries I would like you to help us with for our client. My client is a telecom company, they have their own in house data warehouse system, which has the ability to track users by their MSISDN (unque ID). Currently they are using Google Analytics Free version. Q1 - At registration the users will have to provide their phone numbers on the client's website, once that is done they will be treated as logged in users after the normal process of verification emails/sms's and logging in is done. Now since every user who is logged in is our user to begin with, our client wants that their individual browsing habits be forwarded to their data warehouse where these habits can then be integrated on the basis of their MSISDN to respective profiles for these users which are already present there. we need to connect offline data with online so we know the individual user online and offline behavior. Q2 - My client starting eCommerce on their website, they just want to know if one user c

hi everybodymy Adobe Analytica app stops working while loading the default dashboard. The login field shows up again. Does somebody know how to fix that?CheersSparrodevices: iPad mini and iPone5 running with iOS

I've implemented Mobile App Acquisition as instructed here: https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/mobile/android/acquisition.html I've run into the situation where sometimes the InstallEvent request fails to pick up any of the campaign information. It is always coming through, this is apparent because I save that info when the INSTALL_REFERRER Intent is received and then add it to a custom tracking even that happens later. Instead those attributes get automatically tacked on to whatever request happens next (usually a track page) and then not processed by the server. Taking my device and repeatedly clicking on the link, installing, opening, and uninstalling the app shows that the InstallEvent request fails to pick up that campaign info about a quarter of the time. That's a lot of misattributed clicks, so I'm very interested in some way to prevent this.

We manage several branded versions of an app that all share the same short application name (the name under an icon, on the user's homescreen).iOS correctly uses and reports the app's long name or ID so that the data is separated correctly in Adobe Analytics.Android, however, reports using the app's short name, which ties each branded app's data to the same name. This obviously causes problems with reporting accurately. What can we do about the incorrect use of the application short name instead of long? Has this been fixed in more recent versions? We are utilizing versions:iOS: 4.1.2Android: 4.1.7-AN Thanks.

Hi all,i have a weird situation with this client: it has a consumer APP which is partially native and partially retrieves page from the web with the webviews. From the analytics side, this means that site catalyst requests are sent from the native side through the java/ios library, and from the web with the usual javascript code.Obviously, since these parts don't talk to each other, we got double visits for each user (one visit counted for the native side, one for the web side).Have you ever met this situation? What do you suggest to make visits unique between the two sides? Thank you,Alessandro

Could someone please help me to find the most current Omniture SiteCatalyst API 1.4 SDK for .NET? Many thanks

I get the following error when running on the simulator.  This doesn't show up when building for a physical device.  Undefined symbols for architecture arm64:  "_OBJC_CLASS_$_AppMeasurement", referenced from:   objc-class-ref in AnalyticsAgent.old: symbol(s) not found for architecture arm64clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)Is there a version of the AppMeasurement library that would support ARM64 and not give this error?K. Hi guys,My mobile app uses mix of native app pages and mobile webpages to display contents to the users. I'm using SiteCatalyst SDK with context data tracking to track the native app pages. But not sure how to track the mobile webpages that the app is using to display some contents. The app report suite is mobile app reporting enabled, so I'm not sure if I can use s_code javascript with conventional tracking (variables (i.e., s.eVar1) rather than the context data) in the mobile webpages to track these pages in the same app report suite. Is it possible? So far, I've sent some image requests with s_code javascript tracking from these mobile webpages to the same app report suite but can't see any data from these image requests. Any help will be much appreciated.Regards,Sid

What are the units for average time?  Does the period indicate a decimal or separate min. and sec.?

The following two scripts are being automatically generated and depending on the browser, is causing some small layout issues:<script type="text/javascript" async="async" src="........._setAudienceManagerFields”><script type="text/javascript" async="async" src="...........setAnalyticsFields">.I am not able to find any documentation on the scripts. What is the purpose of them?

So, here is what happens when Adobe goes latent: We have an API built that pulls in visits in the last 24 hours by content ID. The top 5 content IDs based on visits get featured in our Popular Now section. When Adobe's processing goes latent, the Popular Now feature becomes stagnant and new pieces of content, no matter how popular, will not be featured as visits are processed data. Do any of the new API features allow for accessing unprocessed metrics other than Page Views?  (Maybe entries or best case, visits)Thanks!

HiFirst of all - is there a standard helpline or email address that directly services marketing/media agencies and companies that use this software? Posing a question to a forum each time doesn't seem the most efficient way of dealing with issues? My question relates to campaign/ad tracking within Omniture. We would like to be able to equip our tags' landing pages with unique codes (similar to Web Trends) so that we can track where entries or visits to the website have originated from? How would we go about this? Thanks! Will

Is there a trick to be able to upload a SAINT file that I created using Excel for Mac OS?  I have recently moved from PC to Mac.  I downloaded a template, added my classification, saved it as a tab delimited text file (as I always do).  However, when I used the file import feature, I kept getting the message.  Below.  However, when I sent the file to a friend who uses Parallels, he had to open the file in parallels and save it before he was able to upload it.  This is why I think it has something to do with the way the file was formatted in Excel for Mac OS.  Does anyone know how to work with this?Failure: There was no valid data to process
