Hi,I have a question regarding Crashes report in iOS life cycle metrics. Can someone please explain how 'Crashes' report is tracked in SiteCatalyst?"Triggered when the application does not exit gracefully. Event is sent on application start after crash (the application is considered to crash if quit is not called)."We found the above in documentation, but we need more details. What is a quit and when is it called/triggers usually?The reason why I'm asking is because we are seeing a massive increase in our crashes report since we launched our latest app version. But the new version traffic seems to be doing better than our previous versions.The numbers we are seeing from SiteCatalyst aren’t the same we are seeing from Crittercism (10k vs 150k daily) – we’d like to understand what triggers the instance.We don't have any idea why SiteCatalyst suddenly reports such an increase in Crashes report. Thanks

Several question regarding mobilemarketing.adobe.com : - What is an Adobe session, and how can we configure it ?- What are the numbers in the Path reports? Are those sessions? If so and the Overview says average session length of 6.36 hours, then shouldn’t there be higher numbers?- What is the funny colored thing that tapers off the back end of each path that is not connected- Can we get click counts out of Adobe analytics ?- Can we see A/B results?- Do we have any access to the raw data outside of the web reporting interface?- How is Adobe associating a user with a region? Why do the map reports not match the tables in terms of users in each state?

I'm trying implement the Analytics package into an Android app for the first time. The company I work for has used Omniture for ages, and provided me with source code for earlier projects as an example to configure it for the one I'm now working on. My problem is, what they used seems to be a very different implementation that the current SDK I'm working with. They import import com.adobe.adms.measurement.ADMS_Measurement and use an ADMS_Measurement object to handle everything. The newer SDK is com.adobe.mobile.Analytics, has different method calls, and requires me to set up ADBMobileConfig.json This is where I've hit a wall. I was provided with an rsid and a server to use, but the config file wants to know target: clientCode and an audienceManager server, and I can't find exactly what those are supposed to be in any of the documentation I've looked through. If anyone could get me pointed in the proper direction, it would be very much appreciated.

Hi,I am trying to copy the the link values into an eVar by using Dynamic variable prefix.s.eVar2='D=pev2'But, so far I have not been able to achieve my objective. Can anybody help me here.Regards,Sanmeet

Hello,in ReportBuilder, we want to pull data for all our Site Channels (eVar), so I created a named cell range "Sitechannels" with the Excel name manager and specified the lookup in ARB as "Specific / from range of cells" with the range "=Sitechannels".I now updated the list of Site Channels and realized that the ARB did not update, as ARB "converted" my name range back to an absolut cell range, e.g. A1:45. So I have to update all requests (>30) with this lookup manually.The expection is to make use of the Excel name function, so all updates of a lookup range will also be reflected in the ARB requests.Is this "as designed" or another ARB bug? BRHans

Hello, I know this topic comes up and has been answered alot, but I've never seen it asked this way, so here goes: Can anyone explain why Success Events are better/preferred/recommended for tracking conversions than Conversion Variables? What are the limitations of *only* using Conversion Variables (Evars) for tracking a conversion?

There is a JSP-servlets Java EE application (ecommerce web site) which is deployed on Tomcat. Now my requirement is to integrate this Java EE application with Day CQ to display content related static pages.With a hybrid approach, where we maintain all the content related stuff in CQ and dynamic pages (ecommerce like checkout) in the Java EE container, I have the following challenges -Since CQ does not provide an OOTB session feature, how should I do the session management across CQ and the Java EE container? I mean when I go back and forth between CQ and the Java EE container. Thanks,Karan

Hi,I have 2 components cmp1 and cmp2. Each components have their own dialog. Is it possible to drag and drop cmp2 in cmp1's dialog? Is there any xtype which holds another component's dialog? Is it possible by creating any custom xtype? I know it might be an invalid query. Let me know the procedure if it is doable. Your comments are welcome. Thanks,Arya.

Hello Everyone,Is there a way to extend an existing component and add an extra tab panel to it .I can copy the existing components dialog and add another tab panel to it , but I just want to know is there a way to do that without copying by just extending the component.Thanks & Regards,Krishna

Hi,I have written a custom Authentication based on Sling form based Authentication. I followed http://www.wemblog.com/2013/03/how-to-create-custom-authentication.html article  to do that. I am trying to invoke the handler with Ajax call and it seems like the call is never going into the handler.But if i invoke it with CURL it invokes fine and gives me response i expect. Below CURL is being used. My Handler expects Json input of username and password.curl -i -X POST -d '{"username":"admin","password":"admin","keepLoggedIn":true}' -H 'Content-Type: application/json' localhost:4503/j_mycustom_security_checkThe Ajax call that i am doing is :var username = "admin"; var password = "admin"; var apiURL = "http://localhost:4503/content/j_mycustom_security_check" var jsonPayload = { username: username, password: password }; $.ajax({ url: apiURL, type: "POST", data: JSON.stringify(jsonPayload), contentType: "application/json", success : function(data, status, xhr) { console.log("sucess"+status);

Hi ,  I have created a multi type widget which has a fieldconfig of xtype selection . optionsprovider property is defined which has a java script function as a value to load the drop down with values . This is all fine at my end and my drop down works as expected .Now as a new requirement , I had to add a path field to the dialog and on change of value in path field , i need to re populate my drop down with new values based on path selected . I'm trying to achieve this by adding a dialogcloselistener which would execute a script . In the script i'm getting hold of my multiwidget field . My idea is that from this multi field widget i can get hold of selection widget an call setOptions on it to reload  , but it doesn't seem to work . I had also tried something as  setOptionsProvider but this too doesn't work ? Any pointers on how I can achieve it? Which function should I be calling ? My function which i'm adding to dialog close listener is below , function(){        var componentDialog =

HiWe have a form when submitted calls a webservice and may return error messages as response. We need to redirect to same page posting the error. trying with this code in POST.jsp of the form, but it returns a 500 server error and couldnt find anything in logs:  SlingHttpServletRequest req =        new SlingHttpServletRequestWrapper(((SlingHttpServletRequest)slingRequest )) {            public String getMethod() {                return "GET";           }        };           // req.setAttribute("PARAMS", paramsMap);                      slingRequest = (SlingHttpServletRequest)req;        RequestDispatcherOptions requestDispatcherOptions = new RequestDispatcherOptions();                RequestDispatcher requestDispatcher = req.getRequestDispatcher(req.getRequestURI(), requestDispatcherOptions);           if(requestDispatcher != null)        requestDispatcher.forward(req, response);          Any pointers on what could be wrong here? Thanks!

We are building a simple logo component. The requirement is to allow the content author to select an logo asset from the DAM that will be used across all pages in the site regardless of template.If I use the design dialog to store this image path property it will only get stored per template and our site has up to 4. So you would need to select the logo up to 4 times.Is there another/better way to do this? I have seen two solutions:1) Change the design path for the component (http://labs.sixdimensions.com/blog/2013-06-17/changing-cq-components-design-path/)2) Create a global properties page and the logo component can reference the image path stored here.I'm very keen to maintain the "CQ way" of managing properties so using a dialog approach would be preferable. What are the other possible ways?

Can I use third-party API's to create custom Experience Manager widgets?

I would like to confirm my assumption that the dc:extent meta data in for a DAM video asset is the length in milliseconds? Is that correct? The docs are not helpful.DC_EXTENTstatic final String DC_EXTENTSee Also:Constant Field Values
