Solved

I opened a fairly involved Report Builder workbook this morning...and I now get a message that all of the segments I've been using in the queries are deleted. They're not deleted, and "Edit Multiple" made it pretty easy to reconnect the queries to the original queries en masse, but I now have "Deleted Segment: <segment GUID>" as a second segment for each of my queries. If I edit the individual query, I get a message that I'm trying to use a deleted segment, and I can just click through and refresh the query and that faux ghost of a segment goes away. But...I don't really want to click through multiple dozens of queries across multiple workbooks. Batch query refreshes don't seem to knock out the "deleted" segments. My suspicion was that segments had to be "upgraded" behind the scenes and that, somehow, that allowed some links to these segments to break.(FWIW, I had the same issue with both Report Builder 4.7.x and 5.0.x. I initially hoped that upgrading to 5.0 would fix the issue -

Hi guys,Currently I'm integrating Test & Target and Analytics by using s.trackTNT, but we can't find any data in target -> campaign report.Adobe said the plug- in s.trackTNT is replaced, does it mean we have to use Target to Analytics Integration?Do we need Adobe to enable server to server request? Thanks for you help.

HowdyI've got a single page form with a number of s.tl() calls on the page to capture the field and button interactions through the form.My question is whether the visit and visitor count for each s.tl() call is unique to each button and if a visitor visits multiple times does it remember the previous visitor? Also, if the s.tl() call is fired on an onchange event does this mess up the visit/visitor count? The reason for this question is that I have an s.tl() call fire on a spinner page (form submission processing page) which visitors can't interact with. The s.tl() fires on an onchange event and populates a prop/evar and fires an event to capture the stage of form that has just been interacted with. Once done the visitor can't return to the form as the confirmation page displays. The only way to fire it again is to complete the form and visit to visitor ratio is around 1. To my way of thinking the visit and visitor count for this prop should always be one to one. However, what I'm seeing

Hi,I am currently experiencing an issue with trying to remove certain terms from the dataset when exporting data from Adobe Analytics to Excel.I have filtered by the top 10 terms but then filtered the results again by selecting the options 'does not contain any term "text"' and 'does not contain the phrase "text"' to try and remove these terms, but the certain "text" terms I am trying to remove from the results still then appear in the list.Does anybody know why this is continuing to happen and how I can remove the results I do not wish to appear from the final data?ThanksJack

Hello I have an Excel file with multiple queries. If I edit 2 or more queries simultaneously I not updated until I click on "refresh all". However, if you only update only one query, this starts fresh spike on nothing more than "finish". So I can not keep working and changing other inquiries, until it finishes updating. Report Builder can be configured so that the modified queries are not updated until you do it manually?Sorry for my english and thanks in advance

Some of the links that differ in query strings are being stripped out by default during data processing, hence I applied s_objectID to rotating banners on home. The banners are populating dynamically. We want to track which banner is more effective, however the code is not working. Can you please help? Here is the code:onclick="s_objectID={link_url}"I applied on a href<a href="{link_url}" onclick="s_objectID={link_url}" {target}>{alt_text}</a>

Hi, it would be fine to select last 53 weeks rolling in the calendar in Ad Hoc Analysis. At this moment we can select last 52 weeks but not last 53 weeks.Let me know please.Moira

Our site http://www.greedyrates.ca is a lead generation website. We're getting lots of "direct" referrals in Google Analytics now. Any chance Adobe can help us overcome the issue? Close to 60% of all referrals are now qualified as direct, almost impossible to get a good read on which sites and or keywords are working.

I'm seeing bizarre behavior in ReportBuilder 5.0 with list variables and was wondering if anyone else is seeing the same thing. When I select a list variable, everything in the build of the query goes fine...but what gets returned is actually a list of states -- it looks to be from the standard Geo reporting. That same list1 variable works fine in Reports & Analytics and in Ad Hoc Analysis -- the values aren't remotely related to what is being returned through Report Builder. I tried it on another list variable and got the same result -- a list of states.I've attached a screen cap.Anyone else seeing that sort of behavior?

Hi,Went from RB v4.7 to v5 after the release since it seemed like it could be hugely beneficial but apparently Adobe released a very faulty and buggy piece of software. So uninstalling it and going back v4.7 created a huge amount of issues, none of which resulted in RB working.Long story short, new laptop running Win 7 and Excel 2013 (About reports 32 bit version) and neither v4.7 or v5.0 (further, not even 32 or 64 bit versions) work. Nothing. Doesn't come up on the Add-Ins tab; going to add-ins under options shows that sometimes Report Builder bridge is active, sometimes inactive, sometimes not there (depending on the install or its mood). This is hugely frustrating and I desperately need help. It would be enough just to get back to where I was before this mess but I can't. I am loosing a lot of time since many Excel dashboards are build around RB and they just cannot be run. Please help.

Running into strange behavior in Reports & Analytics with the Return Visits report returning a significantly lower volume than Visits with Visit Number > 1.  This occurs even at the suite level, with no segmentation, just straight up total numbers.  And not just by a bit either, the Return Visits report is reporting about 32% fewer visits than using Visit Number > 1.  Furthermore, one of the analysts on my team uses the Return Visits report for monthly reports, and this month the Return Visits report started coming back with a much lower number.  Specifically, he used the same Return Visits report to pull March 2014 data today, and it was about 30% lower than that same report for March 2014 that he ran earlier this month.  Any insight would be much appreciated! As per Adobe help, this should be impossible:Definition of reportsVisit Number: Each visit is assigned a visit number, based on a virtual cookie. Each new visit increments this number by one. The Visit Number report do

Hi,I'm restricted to using the legacy s_code Javascript library. I've generated the code inside the Omniture web interface (Admin/Code Manager), so:- s_account got set to that certain suite- s.visitorNamespace and s.trackingServer got set as wellI'm getting 200 HTTP response codes when I post data to the server, but still not seeing any data coming through in Omniture (I've been sending a bunch of times, over the past few days). Is there any other configuration that I need to set in my code? I'm a bit confused, as 200 responses should mean all is fine. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks,Alex

Hi,We've implemented tracking for our client's mobile application using the new iOS SDK 4.0.2.Everything looks like it is sent out fine (200 in return) when we test using Charles or Bloodhound, and the configuration also looks correct (we have checked that the report suite is ready for offline tracking). The output from Charles looks like this:<transaction status="Complete" method="GET" protocolVersion="HTTP/1.1" protocol="http" host="metrics.ourclient.com" actualPort="80" path="/b/ss/ourclientrsid/0/OIP-4.0.2/s76645163" query="AQB=1&ndh=1&pageName=presenter&ce=UTF-8&aid=13D9916EE23C4340-1A7C95AFC9BC1A50&c.&a.&DeviceName=iPad2%2C5&Resolution=768x1024&OSVersion=iOS%207.1&AppID=ourclient%201.4%20%28223%29&CarrierName=%28null%29&.a&.c&t=00%2F00%2F0000%2000%3A00%3A00%200%20-120&AQE=1" remoteAddress="metrics.ourclient.com/66.235.139.205" clientAddress

In AEM 5.6.1 duplicate node names at the same level were given unique names automaticallynode1     =>           node1        html       =>         html    html       =>         html[1]This is not true in AEM 6. If you programmitically create the same node structure, you will get a duplicate node exception.  It seems that JCR3 does not automatically unique names. Is this by design? It is a difference in versions, and is compelling me to rewrite a bunch of code.  Is there a system setting that could adjust this?

We have noticed that sometimes in AWS, it takes a while for our author instances to be in-sync. If we run our functional tests before the author instances are completely in-sync, when the tests hit the dispatcher, they might be routed to a yet-unsynced instance and fail. Is there a way (ideally a REST call) to check if author instances are in-sync before starting our functional tests? Thanks.

Hi,is it possible to add css media queries with sightly and clientlibs functionality?The result should be:    <link rel="stylesheet" href="https://forums.adobe.com/etc/designs/website/clientlibsDesktop.min.css" type="text/css"/>    <link rel="stylesheet" media="screen and (min-width: 600px) and (max-width: 800px)" href="https://forums.adobe.com/etc/designs/website/clientlibsTablet.min.css" type="text/css"/>    <link rel="stylesheet" media="screen and (max-width: 599px)" href="https://forums.adobe.com/etc/designs/website/clientlibsMobile.min.css" type="text/css"/> Its ease to get the first line:<head data-sly-use.clientLib="${'/libs/granite/sightly/templates/clientlib.html'}">    <link data-sly-call="${clientLib.css @ categories='clientlibsDesktop'}" data-sly-unwrap/></head> But how can I add the media queries to the next two lines? regardsReinhard

I have an existing page component in 5.6.1 that overlays the dialog to provide a custom tab.  Moving this over to 6 and using the new UI, the dialog that is rendered is the base page dialog and does not include my new tab and fields.  Anybody know a possible solution to this?

Hi,  I am trying to create a component and make it display in my group "Others"  from sidekick.  This is what I did. Create a component called myDragnDropFooter, But when I switch to design mode and try to add my component in "Allowd Components" section, it is not there.  This is my jcr of myDragnDropFooter  <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <jcr:root xmlns:sling="http://sling.apache.org/jcr/sling/1.0" xmlns:cq="http://www.day.com/jcr/cq/1.0" xmlns:jcr="http://www.jcp.org/jcr/1.0" jcr:description="my drag and drop footer" jcr:primaryType="cq:Component" jcr:title="myDragnDropFooter" sling:resourceSuperType="foundation/components/parbase" allowedParents="[*/*parsys]" componentGroup="other"/> And below is the dialog <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <jcr:root xmlns:cq="http://www.day.com/jcr/cq/1.0" xmlns:jcr="http://www.jcp.org/jcr/1.0" jcr:primaryType="cq:Dialog" title="dialg" xtype="dialog"> <items jcr:primaryType="cq:Widget" xtype="tabpanel"> &l

Does anyone know how to exclude certain properties from being adjusted by the ReferenceSearch class when a parent page is moved. Is there a list of excluded properties that can be configured?

As far as I can see from the MSM docs there are two techniques that can be used to copy content:1- BlueprintsThese represent site roots and offer various customizable rollout configs/actions between source site and copy site.2- LivecopyIn the docs this is frequently and confusingly used as a synonym for the copy of a blueprint source. However you can also create a live copy without requiring a blueprint source. (New LIveCopy...)When creating this sort of live copy one is offered a choice of rollout configs, but as far as I can see, only one of these, 'PushOnModify', makes any sense. I cannot find any way of rolling out a livecopy source to a livecopy structure. Is my understanding of rollout configs for live copies (not blueprints) correct? And if not, what should it be?

I'm trying to test the AEM6-Dynamic Tag Manager integration, but cannot figure out how to connect the two. In the Cloud Services Configuration for DTM, it asks for an API token. Where can I find that? I tried pulling the 20ish character identifier off the embed code provided in DTM, but that doesn't seem to allow AEM to connect. What am I missing here?

Hi, We want to migrate contents from another WCM system to AEM. Any one has prior experience of the same? Please help with procedural steps, best practices, links etc.

How to consume Big/soap web-services in CQ5?

Hi,I am getting this error when i am running a code. I have set the parameters as  Hashtable<String, String> env = new Hashtable<String, String>();        env.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY,                 "com.sun.jndi.ldap.LdapCtxFactory");        env.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, ldapURL);        env.put(Context.SECURITY_AUTHENTICATION, "simple");        env.put(Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, adminName);        env.put(Context.SECURITY_PROTOCOL, "ssl");        env.put(Context.SECURITY_CREDENTIALS, adminPassword); and i am initializing the factory like this LdapContext ctx = new InitialLdapContext(env, null);I don't have any references to httpservice but seems like CQ is doing something internally . Can any body give me a clue. I have got the jndi jar in my bundle under export-package.
