Hello,Would someone please help me understand the difference between coralui and coralui2? In AEM6, they are installed here:/etc/clientlibs/granite/coralui/etc/clientlibs/granite/coralui2 I'm trying to customize the default console page and the AEM6 by default loads only coralui2. Is coralui2 simply a version 2 of coralui or any other difference? If it's version 2, is the following style guide for version 2 or 1?http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/cq/current/touch-ui/coral-ui/ Thanks for your help in advance!

Bundle "Day CRX Sling - CRX Embedded Repository (com.day.crx.sling.server)" does not come up after installing few project specific bundles, especially bundle containing custom auth login module. This is intermittent problem and it starts working fine once I restart CQ instance. Is it some classloader issue? Screenshot of system console which shows bundle in STOPPING status.  I see following exceptions in logs19.12.2014 03:54:37.999 *WARN* [FelixFrameworkWiring] com.adobe.granite.crx-explorer [com.day.crx.explorer.impl.compat.BackupServlet] Could not get service from ref [com.day.crx.sling.server.jmx.ManagedRepositoryMBean]19.12.2014 03:54:37.999 *ERROR* [FelixDispatchQueue] com.day.crx.sling.server FrameworkEvent ERROR (org.osgi.framework.ServiceException: ServiceFactory.getService() resulted in a cycle.) org.osgi.framework.ServiceException: ServiceFactory.getService() resulted in a cycle.    at org.apache.felix.framework.ServiceRegistry.getService(ServiceRegistry.j

Hi,We are using AEM5.6 in our application. As part of one of the requirement, we need to show the text in "Open Sans" font on UI. Below is the URL to get the details and supported files for this font: http://www.google.com/fonts#UsePlace:use/Collection:Open+Sans.On windows 7, we downloaded the .ttf file and put that in folder locally and referenced in the code and it worked fine. But this will not work out for the web based application. We tried puttting the ttf file into a folder at CQ apps and other folders too and tried referencing but not able to refer and get that font.So please update if there is any way at CQ level to add support for new fonts so that user should see such new fonts without any external dependencies. Please update if more information is needed. Thanks,Vijay

Hi All,I'd like to try to connect AEM 6.0 to an external database but not using default CRX and TarPM.When I view the related document, I saw that I need to download crx2jdbc-quickstart.jar and embed into AEM, but it seems I cannot find it in AEM package share...Can someone tell me where I can find the database connector package, or using another way?

Hi,I would like to use Sightly to generate XML and properly XML escape the text. So what I would like to do is<myTag>${properties.text @context='xml'}</myTag>but this does not seem to be possible.I have seen that in Sightly one has access to some Java backed objects like 'xssAPI'. So now I would like to use the method xssAPI.encodeForXML but I do not see how I could call this method in Sightly.Any help how to do xml escaping in sightly is appreciated. Thanks,Ronald

I am following the example here: http://experience-aem.blogspot.ca/2013/12/aem-cq-56-adding-images-in-multifield.html and it works, however, I would like to make the imagemultifield its own tab that I can reuse across multiple components using "cq:include".  However, when I do this, the open dialog does not render previously saved images.  When you first add images, they appear in the DD area but after selecting "OK" in the dialog, refreshing the page, and re-opening the dialog, the images no longer appear.  The data in CRX remains correct. Here is my image_management.xml:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <jcr:root xmlns:cq="http://www.day.com/jcr/cq/1.0" xmlns:jcr="http://www.jcp.org/jcr/1.0" xmlns:nt="http://www.jcp.org/jcr/nt/1.0" jcr:primaryType="cq:Panel" title="Image Management"> <items jcr:primaryType="cq:WidgetCollection"> <basic jcr:primaryType="cq:Widget" title="Images" xtype="panel"> <items jcr:primaryType="cq:WidgetCollection"> <images j

Dear people,I  am looking for the best way to structure a multinational  & multilingual website in AEM.These are the main requirements:Each country website has its own content in its own language. There are more than 60 country websites. There is almost no sharing of content among the country websites; For example, each country has its own list of products and services; The structure and look and feel of the country websites should be the same and defined by the blueprint; The templates for creating certain types of pages, as well as the forms should be globally defined & maintained; There are country websites that support more than one languageWhat would be the best way to structure this in AEM? Any help would be much appreciated.Thank you and have a great holidays as well.Albena

Hi All.When I install a package with sub-packages AEM 5.6.1 creates snapshots. I'd like to disable this behavior because it's time consuming and takes up a lot of resources. When I install any of the sub-packages individually AEM doesn't create a snapshot. In the logs I see "Creating snapshot for package..."Is there a way I can disable snapshot creation when installing an aggregate package? Thanks.David Frenkiel

I am trying to integrate remote SOLR 4.10.2, with AEM 6.0(SP1). But, while trying to integrate it, my AEM instance is throwing error and not at all coming up. I am attaching the  the configuration files of SOLR in txt format, which I placed. PFB the error:org.apache.solr.client.solrj.impl.HttpSolrServer$RemoteSolrException: Expected mime type application/octet-stream but got text/html. <html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"/><title>Error 404 Not Found</title></head><body><h2>HTTP ERROR 404</h2><p>Problem accessing /solr/admin/ping. Reason:<pre>    Not Found</pre></p><hr /><i><small>Powered by Jetty://</small></i><br/>                                                <br/>                                                <br/>                                                <br/>

There were many assets (Thumbnails, images and videos) on the page. These assets of the page were not automatically activated with the rest of the page after workflow was approved. We manually went in and activated the assets but when the page was originally published only the thumbnail images in the gallery were published. The Brightcove video image thumbnail that links to the actual video in Brightcove was not activated, so when clicking the thumbnail on the page the video would not load, nor were the full size images in the image gallery. What can be possible cause?

Our Nexus has been set up to proxy http://repo.adobe.com/nexus/content/groups/public/, and it seems like that URL doesn't exists anymore, we get a 404 page, which causes our Nexus to auto block the repository (some browsers redirect to HTTPS, some don't). We can access it through the HTTPS version just fine though (https://repo.adobe.com/nexus/content/groups/public/).Is this the intended new behavior or is something still changing on the Adobe Nexus that will bring back the non-secured URL?I want to confirm whether the HTTP version is not supported anymore, since we have the URL set in many places within our infrastructures and we rather not have to spend the time updating it if not necessary. Thanks
