Hello,For some obscure entry pages on my site, why is the top referrer often Typed/Bookmarked when it doesn't make sense that it would be? We guess internal ads drive to these obscure pages, but when we break down the entry pages report by the marketing channels, we mostly see 'none' values. Regardless, internal ads shouldn't set the referrer to Typed/Bookmarked should it? Does anybody have advice on this issue? Thanks,Walter

Hi I'm trying to set a page load rule to only fire when a div is been displayed so i tried using this custom code: if($(".av_hidden-content").css('display') == "none"){return false;}But the rule does not fire and I get this from the console(){return"none"==$(".av_hidden-content").css("display")?!0:!1} for rule "Redd's Apple Ale: AV test" not met.Would you please let me know if i'm doing this right? or if I need to change something in my script?:) thank you!

We plan on making a change to our s.trackingServer variable in the next couple of weeks. I know this affects the cookie used to track my users but what affect will this change have on my reporting. Thanks in advance for your help.

Could someone please let me know if they have encountered reporting problems when attempting to measure traffic from Nigerian IP? For some unknown reason the discrepancy between our ad server report and Omniture is huge. Reasons/solutions would be gratefully received...! Cheers...

I need a way to pull bounces and bounce rate in data warehouse, so I can utilize the data to analyze bounces and bounce rate by page or any other variable, at a given time frame.  Currently the bounces and bounce rate metric is not available in data warehouse.  Can I make a suggestion to at least include the bounces metric.  Thank you!

I have several reports established in dashboards where I utilize the comparison (% of total) column. On 1/16, something changed and that comparison column doesn't show up when I am reporting on calculated metrics. It only shows up on standard metrics. For example, I like to report on conversion rate by device type trended by day. I like to see how my conversion rate on each device type compares to the total conversion rate. Now when I run the reports, I don't get the comparison to total like I did prior to 1/16. If it run the same report for visits instead of conversion rate, the comparison column shows up.Can anyone help me get that comparison column back into my reports? -Mike.

Hello,I am trying to calculate the Time Spent per Visit for my company's website.I noticed that the total visits in the following reports differ, why is this?I am using the same report suite and segment for each. Site Metrics > Time Spent per VisitSite Metrics > Visit Thanks,John

If I have a group(1400 +/-) of unique identifier's(unique identification number), is there a way to upload them into Adobe Marketing Cloud and have the ability to follow them. These unique id's are already in AMC with millions more, I want to segment this group so I can identify just them. Is this regarded as SAINT? Would I use the classification importer?

Does SiteCatalyst really care how I am sending video metrics to SiteCatalyst?I mean, is it mandatory that I must use media object for video tracking? Alternatively, for each event/milestone, can I send the values using custom link tracking methods? Will it make any difference in the reports?ThanksJ M

I know that the limit used to be 5, but we have used up to 10 for a specific client, and have another client who is likely to exceed that. Does anyone what the limit is?

Is there a way to ”easily” track clicks for Social Media buttons, for example Facebook’s ”like” button and Google’s ”G+” button? I would like to launch eventX every time someone clicks those buttons and maybe same time I would like to save to an eVar which service it was like “facebook”. Those buttons are in iframe so maybe the normal click event won’t work? Although I haven’t tested it yet. =)Does anyone have any experience on this or links to resources where to look answers? Thanks for all the help.

Hi,I need to classifiy campaign stacking strings and I have the logic but I don't find how to create rules for unknow length. If I use the rules below I can extract the values and example of campaign stacking values : 1. "string1>string2>string3>string4"2. "string1"3. "string1>string2>string3>string4>string5>string6>string7>string8>string9>string10"real case :RegEx : ([^\>]+)\>([^\>]+)\>([^\>]+)Key to test : 752747d53fce0e1d>3224749ae671f8e7>752747d53fce0e1dGroups$0752747d53fce0e1d>3224749ae671f8e7>752747d53fce0e1d$1752747d53fce0e1d$23224749ae671f8e7$3752747d53fce0e1d But if I need to process more than 3 codes it doesn't work again becasue I need to integrate a conditional test to manage the separator ">".1. Do you have an idea of how to write this rule?2. The other point to fix, is apply my campaign codes SAINT classification on the campaign codes included in the stacking.I think I can do it but it's not so easy. Thanks f

Hi ThereI'm trying to get a report of all the monthly file downloads (instances) into excel via report builder. I constructed the report using Month and file name as row labels and instances (sub total) as metric. Although the report works (sometimes also crashes), it takes forever downloading the numbers, as - i assume Report Builder gets the numbers associated to each file name and in the end sums the values up to return the subtotal. Thus i wanted to ask if there is a smarter way to get the total of instances, regardless of the file name...I do have the same problem for all reports where instances are associated with Names, such as Referrers.Your help would be very much appreciated BestSandro

As the title says, I'm curious to know how you do it?

Hi,I have a login form on page. I am calling the function below on the onSubmit event of the form to capture the click.var LoginClick = function() {                // Omniture Code                s.linkTrackVars="events, eVar1";                s.linkTrackEvents="event1";                s.events="event1";                s.eVar1="Login";                s.tl(true, "o", "Login Clicks");};    I used a packet sniffer to check the values being passed to SC. The events are passed but not the eVar1. The value "Login" is assigned to s.eVar1. However, s.tl is passing the evar value alone. In the eVar1 report, it shows up as "none" but the events count show up properly.I have tried using s.tl(this, ....)... same result. Ofcourse, s.t() passes all the values (evars and events) however, that would be wrong to use it here. Can someone please tell what I am doing wrong here?Vinodh

I have a campaign value that comes over as a URL query parameter that looks like this:  cid={channel}-{program}-{region}-{activity}.  I have rules set up in the Classification Rule Builder to parse out the values for Channel, Program, Region, and Activity.  And I have a finite list of values for channel, program, and region.  This list of values isn't being used as strictly as I'd like it to be, so I was wondering if there is any way to overwrite the values that are not in my list with "Other".  For eVars and Props I think processing rules would work, but it looks like I don't have visibility into the different component of my campaign value in processing rules.  Are there other ways to do this? Thanks,Kerri

Purpose of reporting: To see the success rate of password resets for users who have a compromised accounts.propX captures the error message: in this case “Compromised Account”s.pagename: “Id-and-captcha” is the 1st page to initiate a password resets.pagename: “reset successful” is the final page that lets them know they have reset their passwordIf I create a segment as this: Visit Container, s.propX equals Compromised AccountTo get to the report I am trying to run; can I run a pages report and see how many visits within this segment hit the "reset successful" page?considering s.propX - does not persist? is there a fault in the logic? thanks in advanceAsif

Does anyone else use SiteCatalyst and CQ5? If so, how do you implement specific evars/props/events on specific pages or templates or components? Since you don't have access to the source code and are just building pages through the components, how do you add your page-specific tracking? We are in the process of migrating 4 sites onto CQ5. I am not a developer and am caught between being the only person who has the in-depth knowledge of SiteCatalyst from a user standpoint and having developers who only have an in-depth knowledge of CQ. I need to be able to tell them what/how to migrate my tracking.Or is this where Dynamic Tag Manager plays a role? HELP PLEASE!! Thank you!

Hi,I’m using http://api.html5media.info/1.1.6/html5media.min.js to use flow player on browser fallback. I want to add event listeners to flow player to capture play, pause, stop etc events. Could you please give me some guidance to do this.Better if below method can be used without using flowplayer.js to achieve this,html5media.configureFlowplayer = function(element, config) {return config;}Appreciate swift response.--Thanks,Manoj.

Hello, how would you create a month-to-date (MTD) metric? For instance, if I count 20 conversions on the 15th of the month, my Conversions MTD metric is 40 (assuming the number of days in the current month is 30).Thanks!

Hello,I'd like to fire off an event (social click) when someone clicks the "Tweet" button on https://393.universalorlando.com/Events/Mardi-Gras/Live-Concerts.aspxHere's the tag that I tried, but had no luck with. I'm hoping someone will be able to provide some guidance. Thanks in advance!onclick="var s=s_gi(s_account); s.linkTrackVars='eVar5,eVar10,eVar46'; s.linkTrackEvents='event31'; s.eVar5='Mardi Gras'; s.eVar10='Twitter'; s.eVar46='Daughtry Concert'; s.events='event79'; s.tl(this,'o','Mardi Gras | Twitter | Daughtry Concert');});

Hello,I'd like to implement a tag for the marketing channels in order to have a general view of our customers' conversion funnel (and know which trafic source are at the first and last touch channel). Where can I find the information to implement the tag? Thanks

I am implementing SiteCat on a client's community site (Jive is the platform) and they are interested in assigning a UUID to a customer once they authenticate. However, the client also wants to classify what type of customer or employee the user is. There is no action the user would take on the site to denote that, so I was proposing creating a UUID that can be parsed out and uploaded into SiteCat.For example - UUID CA1234 would denote C is for customer, A is for type A and 1234 recognizes that unique user. Given that the UUIDs need to be uploaded into SiteCat and then will be assigned based on the authentication, I wanted to see if processing rules can parse out the UUID so I can set a eVar to denote customer vs employee and then also for the customer type - given it is not data collected server side.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,I am having a problem with use of Current Data (ie no latency) in Report Builder which is driving me crazy. Has anybody else had/fixed this problem? If I create a basic 'Pages' report, say the top 10 pageNames for today, with a hourly granularity and a metric of Page Views, when the report pulls the data down there is a latency in the data (ie the same delay as in SiteCatalyst when you don’t select Current Data in the report. If I select Manage and look at the data block details its says "Current Data Yes". I have also checked and I am in the Current Data user group. So it should work. The strange thing is if I create a data block for a Traffic Variable with metric of Instances or Page views there is no latancy the report shows current data as expected. I would expect the Pages report and the Traffic Variable to work the same but they don’t.I have a few times managed to create a Pages report that does show Current Data, but most the time it doesn’t I can find any difference in the two

I'd like to know how success events are attributed when visitors come through various channels. For example, a visitor comes to the site via paid search, where the destination URL is www.domain.com?cid=paidsearchA, and doesn't make a purchase. Then a day later comes to the site via display ad, where the destination URL is www.domain.com?cid=displayB, and makes a purchase.Under a Tracking Code (s.campaign) report, how is the order attributed? To the first channel or second? Thanks,David
