Hi all,I am not a coder and need help writing a custom script that would not fire a specific page load rule for any page with "version=flim" or "version=flam" being passed in the url. Once I'm able to do that, I will create separate page load rules for the excluded pages.The page load rule contains the same path as the pages I want to exclude from the rule (path="search-results"). The pages I want to exclude pass these variables in the URL ("version=flim" or "version=flam").I've managed to set the "custom" criteria in the "Conditions>Rule Conditions" section of the page load rule where I want to exclude the other pages (see attached). But that's as far as I've gotten.Help me write this custom code, Obi Wan. You're my only hope. Thank you for any help y'all can provide.Sincerely,- Jon

Hi,I have an implementation on a funnel where I could send a checkOut Event (I detect the step) but I don't have details of th eshopping cart.So I can't populate the product varaible with SKU, number of items or price and between a search step and the purchase I don't have others events to detect abandon etc.Is it a good idea to use a checkout event without those details?Thanks,Laurent

Implementation question.. What is the best practice for tracking a single transaction that contains multiple "orders"?Is there a way to differentiate multiple orders in one single s.products string? (only one s.t() call)What happens if I fire s.tl() multiple times.. each with a new set of products?I'm hoping you can provide a sample s.products as well as a recommendation.

Hi,This issue is regarding to  s.tl() function of sitecatalyst. When I use s.tl() function and direct to different page, NS_BINDING_ABORTED error will occur on Omniture request.Please see the below code.                                <script type="text/javascript">                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         function trackLink(obj) {                                                                                                                s.forcedLinkTrackingTimeout = 3000;                                                                                                                                                                                     s.linkTrackVars='eVar14,events';

I need to know if I can get a report of which one of our visitors visited our site using a DESKTOP. Is that something we can run?

Are conversion events only counted within a session for a visitor arriving through a tracking code? Or is there a cookie at work to attribute future visit conversion events to that tracking code visitor (like within 30 days)?Thanks,Kim

When looking at my user id report for logged in users ( for one day ) - how come I am seeing more then one Unique Visit?  alternatively, I've got a cookie report and that report ( for one day ) - is showing more than one unique visit on a single cookie? Am I missing something obvious here? One cookie = one user?and each authenticated/logged in user should be counted as one unique visit?thanks in advance

Hi,When I breakdown the Natural Search Engines report by sc_channel, the external marketing channels custom variable we set up, I see Paid Search (ps) as the top channel.I set up the paid search detection rules to capture both sc_channel=ps and sc_channel=PS. Any ideas why I see paid search in the natural search engines report?Thanks,Walter

Hello,Why do I see Google as a referrer listed under Other Websites in the Referral Types report? Shouldn't Google be only in the Search category? If not, why?Is there some way to adjust/reconfigure the settings to prevent this spillover and tighten up the traffic categorization?Thanks,Walter

Hello forum, I wanted to ask you a question regarding the product conversion funnel. I am new and was not present during set up of the SiteCatalyst, but here is what I see and can't really understand whyI see the following as an example:Product Views - 100Cart Additions - 20 (20%)Checkouts - 2,000 (10,000%)Orders - 500 (25%)So, my question is how does it possible to see such a high number of "checkouts" and orders?Thanks

If I'm populating the same variable (s.prop) with the same data from a custom link and a page view, is there a way to differentiate between the different sources (page vs. custom link) when I look at the values in that prop? If so how? Also what about when the variable is a list prop? Example Page View:    s.pageName='Home";    s.prop1="1|2|3";Example Custom Link:    s.linkTrackVars = "prop1";    s.linkTrackEvents = "None";    s.prop1="A|B|C";    s.tl(true,'o','Custom Link Call');

Hi,I am using Reports and Analytics version 15. Based on the article Updated Time Spent Calculation, it seems that version 15 calculates average time spent on page more accurately by controlling how traffic variables change from one page view  to another and by time-stamping server calls.Which reports should I use to fetch the most accurate data for "average time spent on a page" and "Time Spent per visit" for a specified time period? I mean, I wud like the following:1) The "average time spent on a page" metric should display a time as close as the actual time the user spends on a page, including clicks to links, video views etc. but NOT visits to a new page opened from a new tab within the same browser. Basically, I wud like the value of  "average time spent on a page" to be as close to the the time spent by the user during a particular session in which he interacts with a particular page. 2) The "Time Spent per visit" should be as close as possible to the actual time spent by on site

Hi all,First of all, thanks for allowing people to share comments/questions in regards to Adobe Analytics; it's really appreciated.We have a client for which we're running into an issue as per reporting (display and gathering of data).When we're using one of the default report (Entry Pages), our client website have URLs longer than 100 characters. Therefore, information being displayed are truncated in the middle of the URL with a format like : http://www.clientsample.com/en/this/is/grea...example.phpThe problem is that when we're exporting this report, obviously, all URLs are truncated. I've noticed also that the hyperlink of all those URLs are not truncated. We've obviously tried to get a custom script to do a find and replace of all <a> values with their <href> values but there's something blocking us from modifying the page. Although this wouldn't have solved the reporting export problem, we would still have copy/paste information from the screen.Also, to this point, we

Hello,I'm looking for a way to track when users leave the site immediately after they perform an internal search - and I need this by search term. Similar to how Google Analytics has Search Exits number of searches a visitor made immediately before leaving the site.I hope somebody awesome can help out! I asked client care but still waiting on their response after almost a week.Background: I can trend Site Exits at the Page Name Level with pathing reports. Basically I select my Search Results pagename and generate pathing flow report. I can see Site Exits from the Search Results page, not a problem. But now I need to go in deeper to determine which keywords are making users leave the site. I have a prop that only tracks internal search terms. When there is a new term the new one overwrites the old one. I also have pathing enabled in this prop that allows me to add some new metrics:- Exits metric it doesn't really tell me someone left the site after they searched for a term. It just tell

HiI am Adobe certified expert trying to install SDK 4 to 2 clients. SDK4 is new and unfortunately there is not enough documentation explaining all the new stuff in HELP. I know JavaScript but I don't know mobile development and when I show these requirements to mobile developers they also don't understand it. There are no examples of the possible values of the variables. There is only syntax, this makes our life very hard.I am going to post some of my questions here with hope getting some answers. My first question is:1-What is Privacy Status and PrivacyDefault. First of all I want to understand what are they doing? and why there are 2 different variables which looks like doing the same thing 2-LifetimeValue: It is not clear what we need to do hereReturns the lifetime value of the current user.Default: 0 NSDecimalNumber *lifeValue = [ADBMobile lifetimeValue];thanks  thanks for the help

Has anyone seen a problem with the Android mobile app SDK not responding after the app has been sitting in the background?I'm having a problem with the SDK in our Android app. It stops reporting data to Sitecatalyst after the app has been in the background for an extended period of time. It is communicating fine in the evening, but when I pick up the device in the morning, it isn't communicating to Sitecatalyst. It works on most devices, but I have found a handful (haven't identified the link yet) that this happens to on a daily basis. When I clear the app from memory and relaunch it, everything reports correctly.I can see through my Charles proxy that there are communications with our servers and other 3rd party integrations, but not calls to Adobe. After I kill the app and relaunch it, I can see the calls flowing as expected.Anyone else have experience with the SDK for mobile apps?

Hi all, 1. Does Omniture support jQueryMobile and Single Page Application, and how to do it?I already have omniture and implemented the trackAction, trackState, and tracktime in iOS native app.For web SPA, I can only do the trackAction, but to track state, In theory I should put some javascript code snippet on each apge I want to track, but there is only one page for the whole web app. How to do it? 2. Sometimes the request for trackAction will be canceled, and I can't get the specific reasons(This issue has been updated but still haven't got an solution).We have a link like below:<a href="mailto:test@gmail.com&subject=test" onClick="var s=s_gi('wfbmobileappdev'); s.linkTrackVars='contextData.wfi.shareType,contextData.wfi.shareEvent'; s.contextData['wfi.shareType'] = 'Test'; s.contextData['wfi.shareEvent'] = '1'; s.tl(this,'o','Sharing Action')">Test</a>we invoke the email client by using the syntax href="mailto:...", but this will cause to

Using Omniture + Report Builder (Excel) , I'm trying to calculate year-to-date unique visitors on a weekly basis. Right now, this is a manual process:The "Year" start date is September 30. So to find out YTD unique visitors for each day last week, I calculate unique visitors for September 30 - December 9...then September 30 - December 10...then September 30 - December 11, etc. etc. We realize this isn't an ideal way to get this metric, but it's what the client wants. Anyone have a suggestion for a formula in order to automate this through Report Builder?
