Hi,I'm new to using Adobe Analytics and have seen a few marketing channels that I am not familiar with. The first one is "other domains". Is this the same as referrals? The second is "DCom". Does anyone know what this could be?Thank you,Frank

Any tips to creating a custom reportlet or dashboard within Adobe Analytics that looks like a pie chart, representing New vs Return visitors? Thanks!

Hi,We customized the library of our DPS app, implemented SC and I'd like to understand how some metrics work. For instance, for all of our library's available actions, we set events to count how many users are using each feature. This is how we implemented when a search is done: trackEvent(2,{"customVariable5": "search"});I'd like to know how many users searched something, so just for understanding purposes, I selected 3 metricsCustom Event 2InstancesUnique VisitorsThen I got the results, which make sense...Custom Event 2: 2389Instances: 2389Unique Visitors: 1548But for the Unique Visitors column, I've got a 19900 value associated with "None" Interaction (Custom Var), which is the number of Unique Visitors we had in the selected period. My question is: Is it possible to know how many Unique Visitors did some specific interaction? Thanks

HiI'm looking for a way to grab specific elements of SiteCat data (browser type, device type etc etc) at the point an order is placed so that I can transmit it on our sales order message and store the data inside our sales order system..On the face of it, surely it is as simple as extracting the data from the SiteCat variable and populating it into our sales order, but is this the right way to do it? Is this even possible?!The alternative would be to send all order numbers generated by our website into SiteCat and report that way (by order number), but this won't give us the flexibility we need to be able to provide our customer service team with some user data in their own system.Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance,Alex.

[Incident: 131212-000329]Please, please, please help. I work for a little company called Walmart, and I need this issue resolved. I am a qualified site administrator, authorized to receive help, and have gotten good service in the past: Adobe was first contacted about this in November. The above incident is from December 12. Account rep responded with one email on Dec.18, asking for clarification, which I immediately gave. Nothing since then.I'm very frustrated that I cannot find phone numbers to speak with someone about this and my emails are going unanswered. This is negatively impacting our business.

Within Sitecatalyst, I am trying to get an idea of a user's path view with different entry pages that are the start of a conversion funnel. I've used the Next Page Flow and the Path Finder Report. However, both are limited on the branches and navigated pages on discovering this insight. The hurdle I am facing is that there is little to no data showing a user's site navigation within the Full Path report. For instance,  the full path report of one of my entry pages shows a total of 5 visits over a four week span and when I generate a Next Page Flow Report on the same entry page and date range, Site Catalyst reports 34,217 path views. I know both these metrics are different from one another, but I don't imagine 5 visits covering a total of 34,217 views.Has any one come across this issue before? Could this be a backend issue with my tracking or is it that I am placing too many filters within the Full Path report? (The filter I am only placing is the selected entry page with paths that cove

Hello there and thanks in advance...I have a site, mysite.com, where users go to log in to their account.  That login/authentication page is hosted on https://login.myothersite.com.  After the user logs in they return to mysite.com.Both sites are using the same report suite and SiteCatalyst 3rd-party cookie domain (d2.sc.omtrdc.net) however mysite.com is using s_code H.26 with:s.trackExternalLinks=true;s.linkInternalFilters="javascript:,mysite,mysite.com,mysite.custhelp.com";AND login.myothersite.com is using H.24.4 with:s.trackExternalLinks = false;s.linkInternalFilters="javascript:,login.myothersite.com,mysite.com/register,mysite.net/register";Here are my questions:1.  In order for this cross-site login funnel to work I have to change:mysite.com's s_code file's s.linkInternalFilters to include login.myothersite.commyothersite.com's s_code file's s.trackExternalLinks = true; and remove the /register from the mysite.com and mysite.net entries in s.linkInternalFilter

Hi,I am new to SiteCatalyst. I have a requirement to track how many users logged into site per hour and the other requirement is how many users logged in per day. Please suggest some ideas to do it.Thanks in advance, krishna

Just wondering if the s_account and trackingServer values are listed in the SC control panel anywhere, I believe older previous versions if you went to code manager and downloaded the code it would be included but now it is just generic? I guess the general response would be just to copy it from elsewhere but regardless is there somewhere to get it from the control panel?

Hello, I am having issues downloading a full report within omniture.  For example I have Time Parting as the main report and it is broken down by Purchase Id's.  When I go to download the report it just displays the first page.  Usually there is an option to extend the rows of the report to fit everything but even that isn't coming up.  Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers

whenWhat happens to server call when no time stamp is in the call? I'm creating a static pixel to temporarily track a page until we get our implementation on it. I'm just using a basic img tag with the standard info I want to pass. My concern is I do not want to obviously pass the same time stamp in every time so I thought I should remove it from the query string. The question is, if a server call goes out without a time stamp name/value pair in it, what happens on Adobe's collection servers? Does Adobe give it a time stamp?

I'm new to Ad Hoc/Discover but somewhat familiar with Site Catalyst. The new UI and the terminology confuses me. (For example, what's the difference between segment, dimension, container and report?)Is there an online reference, like a glossary or basic how-to-navigate this tool? What's the best way for a novice to learn how to use this? Thanks!

I have an odd issue with a new report suite not populating the traffic sources, Search Keywords All has no data with the "This report has no data. Please verify date range & filters are correct" while everything else is populating as expected including orders etc.The only thing I have added is paid search detection for Google Australia with a filter of contains "gclid". I have seen discussion of Google's encryption and not passing keyword information but didn't think that would be the issue in this case. Could anyone suggest a reason this might be happening or a way to troubleshoot, thanks.

I had a question about why we’re seeing a different number with our Unique Visitors when we run the “Unique Visitors” report via “Site Metrics -> Visitors -> Unique Visitors” compared to when view the Unique Visitors number via “Site Content -> Pages” and add in the Unique Visitors metric. When we run the pages report we are seeing about 20K fewer Unique Visitors for the same time period. [img]Pages Report - Unique Visitors.jpg[/img][img]Unique Visitor Report.jpg[/img]

Hello all,I could use the community's help in building a custom segment that I'm having trouble with currently. Broadly speaking, it contains a a particular type of Visit AND Events containers...but the Events container should have 3 OR Events...so technically, the segment could include visits where the combination is Visit X + Event 1....or Visit X + Event 2...or Visit X + Event 3... any of these 3 combinations should be counted as a Here's what I mean: Visits     Only where Site Version = 'x'ANDEvents        Event 1 > 0        OR        Event 2 > 0        OR         Event 3 > 0 Any help in how this should be framed within Segment builder? Thanks!

Is anyone having issues around Natural Search YoY Reporting? We're seeing HUGE % revenue increases from Search Engines > Natural yet our YoY visitation numbers pacing is not matching.Does anyone else see this occurring?  Does anyone have insight on any potential Google or search engine changes in tracking that have been made that would still attribute the revenue to the engine but not the visit?Thoughts? Thanks,Tom

I want to see the behaviors which users searched and came into my page with search engine, and go back to search engine and searched another page on my site and came.I want to prove the reason why [searches] are more than [visits] in my site.I looked into Flow report, Ad-hoc Analysis. chose one page and set segment with [Visits from Natural Search](Pre-Configured).The first page's occurrences(metric) are similar to searches I find out another way.In this case, can I regard next pages' values as seaches that users found first page and searched second page with search engine continuingly?- we can think of second pages' [searches] values are from those session which generated when they searched and came into first page. Please let me know whether I'm rigth or wrong.and please tell me if you have another way to find those answers. Thank you in advance.Regards

I am in the process of setting up analytics for iOS, trying to call a simple [ADBMobile collectLifecycleData]; In the debug log, I get ADBMobile Debug: Analytics - Attempting to send request (s72905628?AQB=1&ndh=1&ts=1386948640&pageName=Main&ce=UTF-8&aid=44D600527FB14D30-1C498C0019DF2665&c.&a.&DeviceName=iPhone5%2C1&Resolution=640x1136&OSVersion=iOS%207.0.3&AppID=ProductName%201.0%20%281.0%29&CarrierName=AT%26T&.a&.c&t=00%2F00%2F0000%2000%3A00%3A00%200%20300&AQE=1) but nothing happens after that. I'm assuming I get a request sent debug message once it actually works? I'm also not seeing anything being registered on the Omniture dashboard. Does this indicate something is wrong in my configuration file? Any help would be appreciated 🙂
