What's the reason for my "Visits" column in my dashboard providing a total at the bottom of the screen that is completely different than in comparison to when I download the information and add it up in Excel?  The first few line items of "Visits" counts you can tell just by looking at it that it's already adding up to more than the total provided at the bottom.  Is this normal when calculating visits?

There is a bug in Anomaly Detection. Let's say I haven't set it up yet. When I open Anomaly Detection, it prompts me to add metrics. If I choose "Cancel", the metrics selector goes away momentarily, but then it returns again. Pressing "Cancel" repeats the loop.So upon pressing "Cancel", instead of sending me through an infinite loop, perhaps I could be shown a message that talks about the benefits of Anomaly Detection and the steps for setting it up.

I have an issue where ANY TIME I open or close Excel since installing report builder, I receive two error messages. IT doesn't know what to do about it. The VBA Modules for Report Builder are password protected, so I can't go poke around in there to see what the issue is. The errors pop up one after the other. I haven't had any luck finding information on this error. Hopefully someone out there has some insight?!  It doesn't seem to hinder the functionality of Excel or ReportBuilder, but it is really annoying. I've had enough.

Does anyone have an idea into the recent adobe Kochava integration? This would help in mobile ad spend attribution. I haven't seen any detailed documents on any of their website.Source (http://www.adobe.com/news-room/pressreleases/201503/031015AdobeStreamlinesMobileMarketing.html)

My site is currently using the getNewRepeat plug-in to populate an eVar and a prop with new and repeat customer data. The plug-in is set to the default 30 day cookie window.I am auditing this against the Customer Loyalty report and what I'm seeing doesn't make sense. I assume Customer Loyalty uses the s_vi visitor cookie, which we have set to expire in 2 years (I don't know that this is true, but I can't find documentation on this anywhere). However, orders from new customers are twice as high when I look at the Customer Loyalty report vs. the eVar using the getNewRepeat plug-in. Since the cookie window for getNewRepeat is only 30 days, I would expect the new customer bucket for this to be much higher as their cookie would expire faster. Any ideas for what's going on would be appreciated. Are there reasons people would use the Customer Loyalty report vs. getNewRepeat? Thanks,Cristine

Hi everybody, got a simple question. In the custom conversion reports there's the feature "Compare to Report Suite". Unfortunately I couldn't find this in the site metric reports. Is there a way to create a report that compares similar events across Report Suites (e.g. a registrations-event) on a top-level? It would be handy to have this feature in the Key metrics report. Otherwise I guess I could do this via the "pages" or "site section" report, where the granularity is quite top level...Thanks for your attention.

We have moved all but two customers to a new URL.  I need to perform reporting on both URL's until the remaining customers are migrated.  What do I need to do in my existing suites to see the customers in the new URL?  An example of our new naming conventions is below.Old - www.selfservice.com/ssbNew - www.selfservice.com/ngssbYour help is appreciated.

After creating a segment with Referrer containing all of "techcrunch.com/2015/02/25/airpr-sells-its-pr-marketplace", I applied the segment in Referrers report (attached), but the report contains the referrers that are nothing to do with the url that I specified in the segment. I was expecting to see only the referrers containing "techcrunch.com/2015/02/25/airpr-sells-its-pr-marketplace" in the report.DataWarehouse request API with the segment id is also generating the same report - full of non-relevant referrers like locahost:3000, etc. along with the correct referrers. Is it a bug or am i doing something wrong?

We are seeing an issue with data where occasionaly an Adobe Analytics call only includes the information we are capturing through our scode. We have done some testing on the site and have noticed that sometimes the information is loaded just fine but sometimes the pageview is tracked before the rules actually fire (see screenshot). This is causing us to lose that data in those occasions. What is causing this?

I run a daily key metric report by hour.  It includes basic metrics such as visitors, orders, revenue, etc.  Why is there not an option to compare dates in a report of this type?I read a response to a similar question in the developer connection forum where a possible solution to this might be coming in the future.  Can you provide an update on the possibility of this function coming soon?6 January 8:55am BEGAINES-ADOBE This is currently a limitation in the Adobe Analytics UI, although we are working on a solution to make it possible to compare dates for reports where time is the dimension. (Currently, comparison is only allowed on "Ranked" report types.)

What would a segment look like to try and grab visitors who have visited the site more than X times, but have not made a purchase? We have a success event which fires when an order is placed with a value of 1 for each item in the order. (ex: order (event24) = 1) Cheers

Adobe Analytics// Passing units and revenue unnecessarily in s.products in pages other than purchase page is not a best practice, and will not be reported in analytics report. Solely relying on scAdd to track units added to the cart is definitely misleading. One can add multiple products at once..so........Better to keep track of units added to shopping cart in a separate variable + one more variable to track the revenue; preferably in the product string would be great. This will allow you yo calculate lost revenue vs actual revenue and actual units sold vs added units. "The Revenue and Unit parameters are only valid when used in combination with the Purchase Success Event. They will be ignored in all other cases." http://blogs.adobe.com/digitalmarketing/analytics/products-variable-inside-omniture-sitecatalyst/NEED A CONFIRMATION FROM THE EXPERTS IF MY UNDERSTANDING IS RIGHT!!!

Hello,Our company recently re-designed our blog, this went live today and I noticed when pulling up the Debugger that no image requests are sending since. Here is the old page: http://mkt.medline.com/clinical-blog/New page: http://mkt.medline.com/advancing-blog/I'm not a developer, so I'm unsure of what the disconnect is or why no data is now being sent to our report suite.Any observations?

Hi Team, We are able to use the latest Omniture SDK and track single variable with below code, But for us the requirement is to track multiple parameters against page name. For ex: we need to track the City, Zipcode, customerNumber etc.. With the new module we are unable to findout how to pass multiple parameters to a single call as it is accepting only object as a value. Can you please let us know how should we handle this type of scenarios ?Omniture.trackState(‘Home’, {City: ‘Hyderabad’}) Please find below working code with the previous omniture module, Var input = [{ city : ‘hyderabad’}, {zip : ‘500020’}, {customer : ‘U64133390’}]; for(var param in input){ omniture[param] = input[param] } omniture.track({}); So in the latest omniture module how should we pass array of values to omniture as it is not accepting the array value. // New method to track Omniture.trackState(‘page’, {key: ‘value’}) Thanks, Nag

Hello,I do my first steps with AEM (CQ5) and I have a problem with permissions. I authenticate with an external Identity- Provider and this Identity Provider does a redirect to AEM/CQ5 with all the SAML Attributes I need in AEM (NAME and ROLES of user)But after the redirect from Identity Provider to AEM/CQ5 I get a HTTP 403 (Forbidden) and actually I dont know why - In my AEM Bundle the user is created with an UserManager- Object (I havn't written this bundle) and I suggest that if the roles which came with SAML- Response from Identity Provider are not existing in AEM/CQ5, than I get the Forbidden error.I know that this is a very specific question - my question would be a generall one. How is it generally done in AEM/CQ5 with the users and roles. Are there first users created and than roles (with specific permissions) and afterwards roles are assigned to users or how is the general processing of the user/role handling. Thanks a lot in advance and all the best.

Can I prevent access to viewing the logs in the System Console? Thanks

Question around best practices...Does it matter either technically or with regard to things like SEO if I populate links within CQ modules using internal author links or the full http://www. string?
