I'm setting up analytic tracking for an iOS app and and Android app.  In my testing I'm seeing results on the website for the iOS page hits but not the Android ones.  Here are samples of the calls:iOS (working)http://omni.pemco.com/b/ss/pemcopemcoqa/0/OIP-3.1.5/AQB=1ndh=1pageName=iPhone.MyInsuranceMenuce=UTF-8vid=4A0E6FEA0439504DC30982F010726A5C03B6c.=a.=DeviceName=x86_64Resolution=640x1136OSVersion=iOS%207.0.3CarrierName=%28null%29.a=demoMode=Y.c=t=11/10/2013%2011%3A7%3A37%201%20480AQE=1 Android (not working)http://omni.pemco.com/b/ss/pemcopemcoqa/0/JAVA-4.0.0-ANAQB=1ndh=1pageName=Android.MyInsuranceMenut=00%2F00%2F0000%2000%3A00%3A00%200%20300aid=081B88F45EE64570-164E08FF57E90A41ts=1384196376ce=UTF-8c.=demoMode=Ya.=AppID=Go%20PEMCO%2F1.0DeviceName=Android%20SDK%20built%20for%20x86Resolution=768x1184OSVersion=Android%204.3CarrierName=Android.a=.c=AQE=1 I suspect the "t=" parameter because it looks like it contains valid timestamp info in the iOS call, but not in th

Hi Could anyone tell how to get the tracking server for my mobile app which needs to mentioned in the config json file. Thanks

We are using omniture analytics in our Appcelerator Titanium application. As per the Omniture documentation IOS crashes will be automatically logged. But we are not seeing any crash log reported in analytics for IOS. Please help me in solving this

Hi,       I would like to understand the usage of clearVars() method from 3.x Omniture iOS SDK. As the measurement API provides singleton object, I was under impression that we should invoke clearVars() method for every track call. But the given example doesn't have invoke clearVars() method. It would be nice if someone can explain the scenarios of when we should invoke clearVars() method.Regards,Dhana Prakash

Hi,I want to use realtime data with sdk lifecycle metrics, so I made processing rules to fill custom traffic variables and one event forOS version (a.osversion (context data)) (prop1)Device name (a.devicename (context data)) (prop3)Launches  (a.launchevent (context data)) (event1)All is working fine for launches and os version. But for device name there are no values in realtime report - but in normal custom traffic reports there are values!Any idea what is going wrong? Cheers,Michael

Hello Analytics Gurus,I am confused by the use of "Include" vs "Exclude" when creating segments in SiteCatalyst. For example, I created 2 segments in which the goal is to only include desktop visitors that did not visit 2 particular pages.I am getting 2 different results. The difference is that Segment 1 uses the "Include" tab and Segment 2 uses the "Include" and "Exclude" tabs.Visits Segment 1IncludeMobile Device Type is NullPageName does not equalPageName does not containVisits Segment 2IncludeMobile Device Type is NullExcludePageName equalPageName containsAt the surface, it appears like the two segments should function the same.  Segment 1 only includes visits that fit the 3 include rules.Segment 2 includes desktop traffic and then excludes visits to the 2 particular pages from the included desktop traffic. What is the most accurate approach? Thanks!

Hello, google launched a new really cool feature in google analytics.Attribution modeling by click in a few seconds.See here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1662518?hl=enIs this also possible with sitecatalyst? Within the marketing channels I just have a "First Touch" and a "Last Touch" reporting. These two reports do not make really sense. Within google analytics it is possible to report a linear or position based attribution model by click. Also data driven attribution is possible. Is this kind of feature also planned for sitecatalyst? When will it be released?best regardsFalko

Hi,As in the report suite settings we can set the displayed currency different from the base currency I wonder how we can pull API data for Revenue in a different from base currency? Thanks, Alexander Preferences

There is no button or link to add ruleProcessing rules are set on report suites.Click Admin Tools >Report Suites.Select a Report Suite.Click Edit Settings > General > Processing Rules. On the Processing Rules page, click Add Rule.

How is the userIdentifier used within the iOS sdk v4.0  is this stored and sent back with lifecycle events?  We want to match lifecycle events to users of the app. The use scenario I envisage is that we would be able to implement a processing rule to pick up the userIdentifier and assign it to an eVar, and we could then pull reports for lifecycle events against userIdentifiers(eVar). Is this possible?

Hello,I have a couple of queries regarding dimensions in Insight.1 ) If I am using multiple query string parameters and concatenating all the values to create a dimension, is there a maximum limit to the number of such query string parameters that can be used ?e.g.QS(1) = A1 ... QS(2) = A2 ... QS(n) = A(n)The transformation concatenates the values in Dim1Dim1 = A1¦A2¦A3¦....¦An   ........... Does (n) have a upper limit ? Whats the best practice around this ? 2 ) What is the maximum possible length(in terms of # of characters ) for any element of a dimension ? Can i have an element that is 2000 char long ? Many Thanks!!Konal

I want to limit results of a monitor resolution report to just one page, but I don't see the option to do this. Instead I just get results from the entire site. Is there a way to limit this?

Hi,Has anyone heard of or used Tracking First service before? The following link is the link to the sign up page of their website.http://trackingfirst.com/app/beta-signupThanks!

Hi Was wondering if anyone out there can help....... My company works in the travel industry and one of the product we provide is the function of buying a flight and hotel together. One of the advantages of this is that sometimes a visitor can save on a hotel if they buy the package together. What I want to be able to track is the following: The hotel which has the saving on it (accomodation code); the saving that they will make; the price of the package that they will pay. I am new to implementing but have been told by a colleague that I can use a context variable. Would anyone be able to tell me how I should write this please? Kind Regards Yaser

Using Site Catalyst, how can I calculate pages per visit?

Is there a way to access the name of the current custom link (pev2) call at a page level from the s_code?

If I see same city name multiple times in city wise report?

Google analytics's offer the ability to see how many people are on a website at any one time. See https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/reporting/realtime/v3/This looks like it would be a really useful feature so that we can see how external advertising such as email marketing, social media, viral activity and TV advertisement spots are affecting our current live web traffic at any one time.Am I missing something on Site Catalyst that will allow me to do this? Surely Google Analytics is not offering something that Omniture cannot offer?

Hello,I am trying to log-in to Adobe Omniture from my user name: ***@***.com.   I have not received a confirmation email with my new password and I have tried a few times now.   Can you please recover my password to send to a different email address? Thank you,Taylor

Hello Everyone,I work with a consulting firm and hence keep supporting different clients with implementation and reporting for Adobe tools . When on an assignment, we generally get the login details and access to ClientCare etc. But when not working for a client (and have loads of time to read and learn ) I do not have access to the links like the one mentioned below.http://microsite.omniture.com/t2/help/en_US/reference/index.html#CrossDevice_Visitor_IdentificationIs there a way to read such articles, help documents, training videos ? If this cannot be opened to everyone, it should at least be made available to people who Adobe charged and certified.RegardsKonalCertified Adobe Insight Architect and Analyst

Hello, I am trying to find revenue numbers from a SID code (for example: ISm20101209x005382).   Where can you find out the revenue number in the Adobe Site Catalyst?

HiCan someone please clarify what 'Visit Number 1' actually means. The Help section states ' A visitor making a first visit to your site is counted in the Visit Number 1 line item'Where does those visitors that only visited once in the time period come under?  I'm trying to find the best way of working out the percentage of new visitors for a specific time period. ThanksOlivia

I want to track exit links, but only for a single page and not the whole site.  When I try to build a segment it does not work.  Is there anyway that I can do this?

Hi there,I want to get an understanding around the full path journey involving a couple of the pages on the site.A couple of things:* I ran a 'full paths' report to find the bulk of the paths involving that particular page is only approx 4 pages, yet when I run an average page depth report for that same page, its telling me its 12 pages.* The full paths report tells me in the bulk of the journeys, this particular page is where the user exits from.  However, when I run a report on 'exit %", its only approx 20%? * Also, is there any way of running a full path report that isn't limited to the max of 8 pages? Please let me know.ThanksKaren

Currently I'm setting an onclick event for a specific exit link on my site that runs a typical s.tl() function - this simply records a custom link name into a prop so that we can track this button click.Unfortunately I recently realized that this prop is getting double counted (at least in the debugger) it's not only being set in the request being fired when the custom link track function is set off but also when the exit link is tracked. What's the proper way to track a prop along with an exit link? Should I not be running the s.tl() function on a true exit link with automatic exit link tracking enabled, assuming this will allow the prop to piggyback off of the exit link image request? I was worried this may then not report properly in the traffic report for that prop.Simplified Example:<a onclick="omnitrackProp22('linkname','value')" href="http://www.exitlink.com"> <img src="button.jpg" /> </a> <script> function omnitrackProp22(linkName, value) { var s = s_gi(
