Is there an out-of-the-box way to set the id to Layout Container to target the main element of the Page? I was referring below article, but it is using Container and not Layout Container.  https://aemsimplifiedbynikhil.wordpress.com/2021/07/16/skip-to-main-content-accessibility-for-aem-web-applications-aem-6-5-9-aemaacs/

Our company is exporting the data from Adobe Analytics in order to ingest it into our own data base to combine with our own customer data for our analytics.  We've noticed a large number of records that are coming through where the "New_Visit" value is showing as "1" (indicating this is a new session, and this is the first row of this session), but the "Page_Event" value is showing "12" which according to Adobe's documentation is "Exit links."   Does anyone understand how the first row of data is an "Exit link?"  We're trying to understand what we're seeing. Thanks for your help,- Frank

hi team, We are having 'mvn clean test' command on our pipeline to run the unit testing code. But with the latest maven archetype since ui.apps have dependency on ui.frontend and ui.apps.structure it is failing. We are unable to move to next step. Any way to resolve this issue. Failed to execute goal on project project-aem.ui.apps: Could not resolve dependencies for project com.project.cms:project-aem.ui.apps:content-package:0.0.1-SNAPSHOT: The following artifacts could not be resolved: com.project.cms:project-aem.ui.frontend:zip:0.0.1-SNAPSHOT, com.project.cms:project-aem.ui.apps.structure:zip:0.0.1-SNAPSHOT: Could not find artifact com.project.cms:project-aem.ui.frontend:zip:0.0.1-SNAPSHOT -> [Help 1]

I have had a question from one of my users asking if it is possible to display a preview of the relevant proof in the proofing email they receive? Does anyone know if this is possible?

we are using Aem 6.5.16, we have login implementation using an OOTB authentication handler. We are able to login from the publisher instance but not through the dispatcher. We can see that the login-token cookie is getting set on the publisher, not in the dispatcher. we have allowed all the required configurations at the dispatcher level.  Please suggest.

Hello Everyone,   When exporting the segments via AEP destinations, Is it possible for us to add any event data attributes in addition to profile data? When I try to export the productName(xdm: timeSeriesEvents.productListItems.name), I am getting an error that You have entered an array field. Exporting array fields is not supported as both timeSeriesEvents and productListItems are arrays. If destinations support only profile attributes I am wondering the reason behind adding all the event attributes under timeSeriesEvents array.   Any other idea on how this info can be extracted?

In our project there is header experience fragment(xf) and inside that we have authored Header component. This header component internally adds experience fragment component using data-sly-resource and path to our experience fragment component. We are authoring path of notification XF into this experience fragment component. I deployed this code in dev and stage server and there I can author path of notification XF into this experience fragment component but same thing is not working on stage. I am getting Unknown validation error as belowanyone know why this is happening? Appreciate your help.

Is it possible to filter the en.model.json before the fetch?  Our json is large, and want to remove extraneous key/values, specifically the "allowedComponents" that returns a long list of components for every page and appears to be the majority of bloat in the response:[":children"]["/content/my-app/us/en/my-page"][":items"].root.allowedComponents.components Perhaps there are query parameters or some other way to return a smaller json response? I found this tutorial that allows modifying the fetch - although I'm not certain it would be useful in this case: http://experience-aem.blogspot.com/2021/09/aem-cloud-service-pass-request-parameters-in-react-spa-model-json-url.html

Going through the dashboards a moment ago, we noticed that we have no data logged in any of our report suits as of 1:00pm today. Has the same happened to anyone? Do you know what it could be and what is the solution?

Hi, I am creating a email template in AEM classic ui. When I first access the template the component in the sidekicks shows. Once I reload or refresh the page, the components in the sidekicks does show. I was thinking it was a caching issue so I went into our server and remove the widget.min.js file but that didn't work.

Hi,If I were to create a segment for users who have visited the site 2x within 30 days, how would I do that?  In cases where I have multiple traits with an AND statement, do I need to apply frequency on all the traits.  For example, visited x page and x subpage within 15 days. Thanks

By my understanding of Low Traffic grouping, it should not apply to ECID since ECIDs are most likely going to have single unique visitor each. Is Low traffic grouping valid for ECIDs?

We have Adobe Managed Services AEM 6.5 with AEM Guides add-on 4.3.  We're noticing that user preferences are not persisted across a user's session (e.g., pick a different Folder Profiles value and save, then exit Guides and come back in to find the default Global Profile selected).  Is this the expected behavior, or should the preferences be saved for the duration of the session (or even across different logins)?  Any thoughts as to why the changes are not being saved? I am relatively new to AEM and Guides, so not sure what the expected behavior is and if this is a bug in our setup.

Hi, gentlemen.I have the following scenrio:The website has hundreds of pages, and each of them need a vanity URL. This is because the content structure on AEM does not match the expected end URLs (eg.: on content tree the page will be at /content/<site>/<lang>/<product type>/<country>/<state>/<city>/<page> while the URL will be /<city>/<page> or even /<marketing-stuff>/<another-page-name>).Those vanities must not contain extension (eg.: .html).This scenario leads me to two problems that I'd like to ask for your help or advice:As I'll have new vanities each day, following the recommendation on http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/deploying/dispatcher/disp_config.html that states "depending on how restrictive your filter configuration is, you may need to explicitly register each individual vanity URL. In the following example /my/vanity/url" is not an option for me.Instead of (on the dispatcher) deny access to all URLs fo

Hello, We would like to write a report that quickly shows a users total exceptions hours for the week (Vacation, OOO, holidays based on the default schedule).  Is that possible? Thanks, Bill Harnett

Is there a Out of the Box way or ACS Commons utility to get a report of all User groups in AEM?I saw something in ACS Commons for getting the list of users here - etc/acs-commons/exporters/usergroupstagelist.html, but not for user group.

Hello,I am trying to build a recurring workflow (running daily) to send an email 3 days after a contact fills a form on a specific landing page. But I can't find a way to target only those contacts using a Query. The form only gives me the submitted fields information. How can I target those profiles everyday? Is there a way to do this using Additional Data, adding a Campaign flag? Or a GetDate() when someone submits the form?

We have a group of a creative user and we want to give permission for only check-in check-out to dam assets without showing menu option like edit, delete and other options as well. So how we can achieve this without overlaying or customization of OOB component.

1. We have a source feed which splits huge files into multiple smaller files on a daily basis. I'm trying to figure out how can we automate a schedule to pick up all files for that day (file name has Date) from the source location and ingest into AEP. 2. Our SFTP location has files of different category and how to pick files based on a pattern (or a wild card)  that are meant to be loaded into a dataset. Sample files:Testfile_20230701_1.csvTestfile_20230701_2.csvAnotherfile_20230701_1.csvAnotherfile_20230701_2.csv

Is there a way that I can get certain task-level updates to show at the project-level? Specifically I'm looking to show the task percent-complete at the project level. When I go to the task "updates" section, I can see the task's percent-complete listed (e.g. Jim said this is 73% done.)When I go to the project "updates" section, instead of the percent-complete for the task, I see the name of the task and a message about the condition (e.g. Assign Resources, Jim said the condition is Going Smoothly.)Ideally, rather than the project "updates" section showing the condition of the task, I would like to see the task percent-complete (e.g. "Assign Resources, Jim said this is 73% done.")Is this possible?
