Allow screenshots in updates/comments

Please let us add screenshots to comments or updates, as in JIRA. These images do not need to be revision-controlled, like a document, but we need to be able to easily share images within the team, and would prefer to stop using email or OneNote for this purpose.

I know this is delivered, but can we have an option to just copy an image and paste instead of save and attach please?

I primarily use Snagit and Greenshot for snip editing. Copy and paste is an easier option.

Is there any update as to when we might see the ability to paste an image from the clipboard? In order for this functionality to be an improvement over saving a file and uploading it to "Documents", we really need to be able to paste an image directly to the update from clipboard. The workflow to capture an image, save it locally, browse to it, drag/drop it into the update takes much longer than it should. It also requires users to delete the temp file that they created on their computer once uploaded.

I've turned it on, but haven't advertised it. A large portion of our user base does not inherit document permissions. So, although they can see the Update, they can't see the picture.

I get that it's a document and that setting is all-inclusive, but if a user can see an update...the user should also see the image attached to the update.

I agree, I didn't even turn this functionality on for our team members because it's the same process as our current state, we save a word doc to the documents section for us to explain using scenarios with show screenshots. Screenshots within the updates box would be ideal and a step saver for our team members. As excited as we were to have screenshots in the updates sections it's still not usable for our team. Therefore, this is not an option for our team members. But the WF team is almost there, please continue to work on this area. Thank you for your time.

Currently, this isn't much of a time saver compared to uploading an image to the documents tab of a project, task or issue because the image has to be saved to the users computer, then they have to browse for it in order to attach it to the update.

Are there any plans to continue working on this feature so that users have the ability to copy and paste a screenshot to the update box?

I can only agree with the previous comments. First of all, thank you very much for implementing the solution!

Secondly, please continue working on this.

My colleagues would have expected that they can write a sentence, insert a screenshot (via ctrl+v), write the next sentence and add another screenshot and so on.

Maybe not right here but possibly a point for the same product team: Please also bring all the functionality of the update stream to the description of the tasks which is still only plain text without any possibility of formatting.
