"Countdown Notifications"

Is there a way to setup an email notification that alerts someone when a project is due, say, 90 days our? Or multiple timings, even if they're set up as multiple emails.

Anyone?

    A use case we came across was needing to send reminders for lease contract milestone dates, which vary by contract. We were able to prototype a solution using project tasks with set durations and finish-start relationships, autocomplete tracking mode, and the notification setting that notifies a user when a task is ready for them to work on.

    It "worked" as far as sending out a notification, but the notification emails are not customizable enough for the level of detail we needed to include in the notification.

    If you have access to Fusion, you could automate a more detailed notification email to be sent out based on the due date of the task in your project.

    Hi Howard,

    Yes there is. If you go to Setup > Email > Notifications > Reminder Notifications, there are options to create notifications for Projects/Tasks/Issues to send on custom criteria you set, such as 90 days before the planned completion date of a project
