Custom Statuses in Approval Workflow

Instead of just Submitted, In Progress or New I want to be able to move something (specifically an issue) through multiple custom statuses (submitted, quote required, quote approved, in progress, completed).

Agreed, this is definitely a deficiency. The fact that you can have custom statuses for a group, but not leverage them for an approval process is a HUGE oversight. Please get this on a roadmap sooner, rather than later. Tks! :)

Currently you can use custom statuses in approval flows, but the statuses have to be applied system-wide. I'd like to add to this idea that there should be Group level approval flows that allow for use of group custom statuses (not forcing a system-wide application of those custom statuses).

I agree as well.

It would be very helpful to allow the creation of group approval processes that would be associated with group specific statuses for all status types (Project, Task or Issue).

I agree. It seems like a disconnect that issues can have Custom Statuses, but the Approval Workflow uses the universal, system-wide statuses.

When setting up approval workflows, my users cannot select the custom statuses we use for our issues.
