This may be accomplished with OneDrive integration, but modifying documents in Workfront is too cumbersome. Asking business owners to download the document, make their edits, and remember to reupload the document is too difficult. Create functionality similar to OneDrive or Google docs.

    We would need a way to restrict certain folks who are on the project from being able to edit documents. But this could be cool.

    I agree with you Mack, this feature is very important. It is available now in other tools and it's easy to share files online with the authorised users. I wish WorkFront would prioritize this the soonest possible. We are not using the document management in WorkFront as the must have features for us are not available just like this one.

    This would be great for our press release approval process, which is 100% Word Documents. It would be nice if the edits can be made right in Workfront, similar to how edits via box.com, or google docs works.

    Our users would LOVE this feature. What frequently happens is a user downloads a document, modified it and forgets to re-upload it.

    I agree Mack. Our organization got used to SharePoint Document management which allows online editing or opening local apps. The current WorkFront document management process is cumbersome.
