Edit an Update

Is there a way to edit an existing update I enter?

Or is read-only after creating an update a design of Workfront and cannot be changed?

Currently, you can edit an Update you posted up to 7 seconds after you posted. After entering an update, a small black modal shows at the bottom left of your WF screen showing the ability to undo the post so you can edit and repost. BUT, right now there is also a Beta you can toggle to opt into for Issues Updates only. Go to any Update area of an Issue, and towards top right of the screen you can opt into the Beta (only for you, doesn't opt in all your users):

With the Beta, you can edit Updates beyond 7 seconds. They are starting with Issues and after this is live it'll be rolling out TBD for projects/tasks.

If you found this helpful, please mark correct to help others : )
