Help With Workfronts API

Has anyone had experience creating a custom API connection with Workfront's API? We're looking to integrate a third-party survey software with Workfront and were hoping to use Fusion, but first, we need the two software APIs to connect. I've found some articles on Workfront's training area about their API, but I'm wondering if anyone has done this, how complex it was, how long did it take, etc? Thank you!
