I have a user that was brought into a proofing workflow from being tagged in a proof comment. She can open the proof but cannot reply to the comment and she was added to the proof as "read only". Is there a way to ensure a user can respond from bei

tagged from a proof when they are not in the original workflow?

only if the system admin allows them. If you haven't already done so, I'd recommend you ask the admin to go to the setup area, click on the review and approval section, and make appropriate adjustments.

@Kyna Baker - inactive‚ -- normally I'd attach a link to the workfront help article but "approval" is one of those words that when I try to search on it it brings up more wrong answers than right ones. What's a good way to search for the topic I actually needed (the setup area's "review and approval" section)?

Hi Skye - thanks for the help. I am the system admin and already have the review and approval settings set to Reviewer but I don't see a place to make this setting from proof comments when a user is brought into the workflow from being tagged. Any thoughts?

I might be misunderstanding what you're doing. When I am in a proof, if I tag a user who is not already in the proof (using @User's Name) I get an immediate popup that says that I am adding them and the default role selected is "reviewer". All I have to do is click on OK. For me to add her as "read only" it would have to be an additional two clicks.
