Workfront

Hi All,  I have a question.  Is it possible to use a project typeahead field on a request form, to tie that request/issue to an active project from a different workstream?  In theory I would have a report in the project left panel, that would capture all issues/requests that are tethered to this project via the project typeahead field that was entered on the related issue. The filter on the report would  use the logic that only display issues that have a project typeahead field that matches the project name. Hopefully from this, I would be able to display the selected fields from those issues in this report.

My paid media team asked me an interesting question I wasn't sure how to answer. Can we set a reporting Task due the day of the first week of the Upcoming Month? If so, any suggestions? Thank You!

We're currently using text mode on a project report to list all people involved in the project (code below). Sometimes this list is rather long and can make the report look clunky. Is there a way to have this replaced with an icon or text that reads Project Team that you could hover over to display as a pop up with the list of users instead? Hi, Two items my teammates are missing with the new Home page widgets. The inability to sort by commit date and when the widget has the ties to undo to see more details of the weeks, the ties don't stay collapsed.  We were under the impression widgets were a little more customizable but that may not be true.  If anyone has suggestions or more information, please let me know.  Thank you, Mandy

On a timed-interval, can Fusion export a certain Report and attach that report into a notification or email?

I would like to understand what this error means, [422] Invalid Parameter: assignmentBean value " BaseAssignmentBean. The context: I have attempted to set assignments by field value. I used the assign multiple action in order to map to assign ID. I have checked that there are no errors in the mapping. {{if(1.`Campaign` = "Popcorn"; "123456")}} {{if(1.`Campaign` = "Candy"; "789101")}}.    

Has anyone had a successful use case embedding AEM into a Workfront Dashboard or displaying assets/properties that live in AEM inside Workfront? Looking to give users a method for referencing information stored in AEM without having to leave Workfront. Unsuccessful with adding AEM as an external page on a dashboard. 

I'm trying to adjust the color of a single word in a column using an HTML wrap. In edit mode, it previews correctly and shows the text green. When I exit edit mode and am on the Details view of the report, the color doesn't show. Any ideas? I'm pulling my hair out. 

I recently put in a Workfront ticket to support because when you're in the issue under documents and want to move an interactive proof you created to the converted project, it's not working and it's throwing an error. (See screenshot of what I'm talking about). They gave me a workaround and thought I would share in case anyone else was having the same issues. Instructions on how to move a proof from the request to the project. In this case, we were trying to move an interactive proof.  Under the documents folder in the issue Select the interactive proof you need to move  Click on Document Details Select the (...) Ellipsis and MoveAdobe stated they are working on resolving the other issue, but this should help until then.

I'm trying to move files I accidentally posted to one Workfront project to the proper project but I get an error saying, "Error loading secondary content..." I get the same error when I try to delete them, as well. I tried a different project to see if the same thing happens and it seems to happen on all files in all projects. Can someone help me figure out what is going on? Thanks.

Are you users having issues with boards crashing, error messages, cards not working correctly, etc.? We have had several people reach out to us about it. One group has even stopped using boards altogether. I know last Friday, 9/27, there was an identified issue that was published. However, we have experienced this for quite a while. I did submit a support ticket and will continue to do it as more users reach out. My ask of you is, if you are experiencing similar problems, please turn in support tickets with the details. The more we provide to them, the more it will help them figure out how to stabilize it or have these concerns escalated to a high priority. Thank you.

Hello! I am a fairly new Workfront System Admin (7 weeks in now) and having some trouble setting up recurring tasks, so hoping someone can help. A few different users within my organisation are having issues with recurring tasks, and there doesn't seem to be any logical reason as to why - even when seemingly copying the set up of a recurring task that has previously worked within the same project, we're seeing issues. The issues seem to differ based on the task constraint;When selecting either 'As late as possible', 'As soon as possible', 'Must start on', or 'Must finish on', even when setting the start time of the task on the task to 09:00, when the task is created it seems to put the planned start time as 16:00. This then pushes the task over 2 working days (the task is 1hour, and shows in workload balancer as 1hour on the first day, then 0 hours on the second day). I can't seem to figure out why the time is changing?When selecting 'Fixed Dates', the task appears to set up

Hi, I have a stakeholder asking for a largethumbnail of an asset (attached to a task) within a Task Report (I get this is simple using a Doc Report 😊) but their tracker is a Task Report and fairly complex as it's integrated with Fusion and don't really want to go rebuilding it again. I've looked all over Experience League, found a few posts from a while back but wondering if anyone has had any luck? ThanksAndy

Considering the current limitation of manual token refresh, what steps can be taken to mitigate the associated risks and improve the efficiency of the authentication process? Currently, we have to do a manual refresh of the token used for authentication. There is no direct way to automatically update the token within the system. Therefore, each time the token needs to be refreshed, it must be manually updated in the Headers field.This is for the field type, External Lookup, and currently our token refreshes about every 20 minutes due to security but also results in errors.  Is there a way to avoid this and have this somehow set up using Adobe Fusion? 

When I navigate to the Projects list, select "Projects I'm On", and edit that filter, I notice that there's a field called projectUsersMM that looks like this:   projectUsersMM:ID=$$User.ID projectUsersMM:ID_Mod=in   This gives me the impression that there's a field (projectUsersMM) that tracks all users attached to a project. My question is, how do I access this field from my own report? I've tried a few report types (Project, Task, Hour, User...) but have not seen this field listed.   My overall goal is to build a report that lists all planned hours, by project, and filtered by Product Owner. I know I call pull in Product Owner in a Project report by utilizing collections (which I've done), but then I can't build a chart off of that field. I'm hoping that if I can access projectUsersMM, I'll be able to pull in just Product Owners and use it in a chart. 

Hi - has anyone figured out a creative workaround to the functionality limitation where results in a collection appear in a random order? (or what the underlying logic for the sort actually is) I've been digging through old discussion threads and most seem at least a couple years (if not 6 years) old. I'm working on a report that summarizes information so each project has a single row. One of the data elements that needs included is every start date of tasks with a specific attribute (aka custom field value). I can get the dates to appear, but they are in a random order - which makes consuming the information confusing. Thank you!

I have a custom form within a task for users to fill out a deploy date and time for emails. I am looking for a way to show this value on a task report for the next task which is to deploy the email. I would like to show this value in the column of the report, but there is no option. However, there is an option to filter to this date on the report. Filter - Predecessor - deploy date and time. I cant figure out the text mode for the column.
