Workfront

One of my users asked how their supervisor could be notified when they're added to a project, to which I responded that was built into Workfront's notification settings. However, when looking in the "miscellaneous" notifications for that manager (and all users) I can no longer find any settings related to people on their team. Has anybody else noticed this?

Hey there! Does anyone know any text mode to get links to documents inside of a project level report?  Even better, if you can put logic in to look at folders based on name?  Thanks! 

Does anyone know if there is a way to Mask the From name on a proof notifications? All of the proofs come from a generic email address but it appears as I am sending it - what if we wanted it to say something generic like "<Company Name> Proof" Can this be done and if so how?

Hi! I'm trying to create a filter (I believe it might need to be a text filter). I'm working on reporting and dashboards and trying to build a dashboard for a specific subsector of projects within a portfolio. Right now I have a report filtered by program name (ID) where I typed in the word "talent" and just selected all of the programs with the word talent in the name. However, this doesn't automatically update because every time a new program with the word "talent" get's entered, I would have to go back in and add it it the filter. I'm assuming the best way to go about this is to add a text filter that filters every program with the word "talent". Could anyone help with what this text mode filter would look like? Let me know if there's a better way to do this.

Please let me know whether workfront and workfront fusion has Splunk Integration similar to that of Adobe Expereince Cloud as mentioned in the below url. https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/implementing/dev... We would like to ingest workfront and workfront fusion logs to Splunk. Thanks

Hello brilliant Workfronters! I have a few folks that want to use one project to manage multiple deliverables (flyers, email, etc.). I know that's not best practice but they insist as they don't want to set up multiple projects. There are also some projects that run all year (say, social posts for the year) and users don't want to open a separate project for every single social post.  What is a good way to "capture" all that work via a custom form so I can "count" it in a chart reporting on number of deliverables completed in a period of time? Multiple "project deliverable" form fields? As in Deliverable 1, Deliverable 2, etc. 

We have a client that is asking for our project data to be exported to MS Project and provided to them. I know we can export each individual project but I am not seeing any way to do a bulk export to xml. We have 450+ projects that need to be exported multiple times. Does anyone know the best way to do this? Maybe it can be done with a Fusion scenario?

Is anyone else having issues accessing Sandbox today? Production is fine and working well, however as an Admin, the options available to me in the Sandbox main menu are Priorities and Set Up.I am in Chrome, have cleared cookies and caches, tried an incognito window and also in Edge, all the same result.Just want to make check if it is an system issue or an isolated one.

Hi, I have a tickbox field which has over 50 options, this field is used to create the job name by Fusion. Is it possible to use this field on several custom forms but alter the answers available to choose from dependant on the form it's used. E.G. Form one has all choices, Form two only has choices for print because it''s a print job form.  TIA

Hello! When in a Project's Task list, I am looking for a way to highlight when a child task is missing a predecessor. My users sometimes forget to add predecessors and I want to give them a Task View that highlights when that happens so they can easily see it & fix it. I am not sure if there is a column rule I can configure? or if this is a text mode solution? 

Hi everyone! Looking for some advice and best practices on onboarding teams to the proofing process. A lot of us are experienced WF users, but using the proofing process is new to our team. We have our designers owning the proofs and setting up the workflows (due to volume of work) on most projects. All of us are finding the process to be pretty complicated and glitchy. We are trying to use automated workflows that include all the relevant users/roles/etc. pre-set to make it very simple for us. What are some things you all did to make the process easier and more straightforward for the teams? What tips, tricks and workarounds do you use to make the system work for your team? Some specific issues we are struggling with are:- Controlling access to the proofs when it is not a user's turn. (Private stages only seem to hide the comments, not the proof itself)- Dealing with the "Workfront" stage that is created whenever a user looks at a proof.- Creatives needing to make a dec

Hi all,I have a request from a manager for a report that shows the status of each phase of their ongoing projects. Each project is divided into these phases, with a parent task named 'Phase 1: XXX', Phase 2: XXX' etc., and all the related tasks are under it. The ask is to have a report with these columns, and to have the Phase column show the progress status (or percent complete) for each phase:Project NamePhase 1 StatusPhase 2 StatusPhase 3 StatusPhase 4 StatusI think this can be done, but I'm new to text mode reporting and stuck as to how to call out a parent task from a project report. Usually I hunt around the Community or documentation to find something close to what I need and then try to patch it into doing what I want, but I'm stuck here. I am aware of the API Explorer, but haven't had a chance to practice in it yet. Any help would be hugely appreciated, I'm trying to convince some folks they can get good project info within Workfront and we don't need to revert

Hello,I need to be able to export the list of "Exceptions" (i.e. public holidays) for each of our schedules. So I've created a report on Schedules that includes the following column: displayname=nonWorkDays listdelimiter=, listmethod=nested(nonWorkDays).lists textmode=true type=iterate valueexpression=CONCAT(STRING({nonWorkDate}),if(isblank({scheduleDay}),'','#'),STRING({scheduleDay})) valueformat=text This works like a charm on the screen, but as soon as I export the report data, the nonWorkDays column is empty.I've tried using another listdelimiter, changing valueformat to HTML, and also replacing the valueexpression with valuefield=nonWorkDate (for simplicity), still no joy.If I create a project report and include the collection of the tasks, as follows, the collection is included in the export file: displayname=Project Tasks Names listdelimiter=<p> listmethod=nested(tasks).lists textmode=true type=iterate valuefield=name valueformat=HTML I wonder what I am
