Journal Entries not showing changes made in Custom Fields

I am attempting to retrieve the journal entries for a specific task. However, changes made to custom fields are not being reflected in the journal entries. Only changes to the out-of-the-box fields are appearing in the journal entries.

this is normal. To capture updates in the future, please go to Setup / Interface / Update feeds and add your custom field there.
