Last / Most Recent (Tasks, Milestones, etc.)

It would be great to be able to report on the "Most Recent" or "Last" of an object. That is, to compare Times (whether it's for a Completion or a Start date) and select a certain one from the list by criteria.

For our Projects, we like to know what Task or Milestone was "Most Recently" completed, but I have no way to look at that.
