Locking a field on custom form

We have a task that has a custom form attached to it.

We want the custom field to be edited only by the Task assignee. Anyone who is not assigned that task, should not have access to edit it.

Is there a way we can do that?

You should be able to give that task manage access only to the person needed to edit in the task sharing…

Hi @nishapatel,

 

If the pound of cure (painstakingly managing permissions as presumably dynamic assignments are made) is too heavy, a lighter ounce of prevention using these Targeted Auditing concepts to "catch" anyone other than the assignee might be an effective alternative.
