Make Workfront Full Screen.

Get rid of the fixed width format. Project managment is all about viewing data. I have a 4k monitor at my desk. I wrote a small hack that bypasses the default CSS to make it full screen and the results are amazing. I would like it much better if this was default functionality not something I have to hack my way into.

Hi Richard - spot on. This shouldn't even NEED to be an idea. This is basic stuff that every product should have these days. I'm glad that they're starting on this but the biggest win for users will be fixing the Tasks screen where most users spend the most time. Really hope to see Workfront at least commit to doing this. Before this idea is marked as DONE.

Seems like a pretty obvious UI idea. You have a giant screen but are unnecessarily limited in screen real estate? Poor design decision for sure.

I'm glad we are getting at least a look at this, but as David mentioned, the two areas under discussion are helpful, but not what is really needed. The task view is where all the work is done and only being able to see a limited number of columns is a problem, especially in gantt mode.

Hi Lilit - that's great news that those 2 areas are being done. To us and JUST AS IMPORTANT is to have the system display the Project Tasks tab in full screen width. Our users live in these screens all day and the most overall benefit will be provided once the Tasks tab is full screen.

Hello, Workfronters,

I have good news here! We are planning to make Report and Dashboard detail pages responsive to fit your screens. For now only these 2 pages are planned to be updated, but based on your feedback from this change, we might consider applying it to other parts of the application as well.

Stay tuned for more updates on this!

Lilit

I like this one! It's similar to my request https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115000428934-Screen-utilization-should-be-improved?page=1#community_comment_115000273254 but it's not necessarily full screen - an increased width would already be helpful)

This is a must have. And increases productivity. The number of times the user needs to SCROLL LEFT/SCROLL RIGHT... is.... HUGE... The Stylebot is a mouse and wrist saver!

Keen to hear an update from Workfront on if/when they will be doing this. I know there is focus on adding new features, but judging from the very positive response I get from users when I setup the Stylebot workaround, if Workfront enable full-screen it should be a home-run and greatly improve user experience for thousands of users.

I'm using the Stylebot workaround, but that's not easy to get implemented to all users (besides, it is Chrome only and our users use a lot of other browers.). It would be nice if WF could use responsive css/web design so the pages would be full screen no matter what browser they are using.

Please, please do this! I have helped setup the workaround for some of our users, but it is not feasible/supportable to do this for all of them. As a result, a lot of our users are still stuck using Workfront as if they are wearing ski goggles.
